Finally found my way to Fort Revasan, only to chuckle while Marshall Proulx and a soldier squabbled over a chair.
Krem's distant relative discovered!
After killing the Ferelden Frostback, drank to it and gave Bull his necklace, then went off to the Approach for the Abyssal High Dragon. The battle improved as I went along. My choice for where to stand and wait turned out to end poorly.
Regen potions to the rescue and barriers on everyone when I could and we did well until it brought up a full guard bar at low health.
We did manage to bring it down pretty quickly and had a dead dragon. I usually do these two at a later level, after the two plot quests, and those couple levels do make a difference. I didn't want to pay BE prices for pyrophite and I haven't been to the Emerald Graves yet and Blackwall doesn't have the dragon slaying axe, so we didn't have anything special against guard. Oops.
Well that was a fun glitch! I went to judge Erimond and the cutscene didn't load properly. Instead Conwenna was dumped back into Skyhold with Erimond, Josephine et al just standing around in the main hall.
Naturally I tried to get a screenshot where it looked like Conwenna was about to administer a flying kick to Erimond's head...
I made her a bow with the fade-touched honeycomb that you find in the library and was disappointed because it casts bees around the archer not around the point of impact of the shot...
I guess that masterwork would work with a dual wield rogue? A bit disappointing for an archer, because I also thought it casts bees on the enemy that's hit.

Hmm, that's weird. I gave Blackwall the weapon that Cullen's dog brings back. Maybe the effect is different if you craft one instead? Now I'm gonna have to try it out once I get that far.....
Seriously though, the two Revenants in one of the side mirror areas usually always do massive damage to my party before I can take them out. This time they were both covered in bees the whole time so it more just a matter of whittling them down instead of barely surviving. Wish I would have used that tactic for the Arcane Horrors. ![]()

Well there's no real problem with a melee weapon, because obviously you expect the bees to come at close quarters. It's just when attacking from range that it seems wrong.
BTW, I got the Trial of the Magician achievement with Greed, now I have all DAI achievements.
Congratz! It's nice to have all of them, right? ![]()

Thanks! Oh yes~ now I can play however I want. ![]()

I guess that makes sense. Doesn't the same thing happen with Caltrops, which makes it also pretty useless for a ranged character? (looking at you, Varric
). But I agree, the detonation should be the point of impact, not the point of release, since it is "bees on hit," right?
Blackwall invited Freya to a drink, and she gladly accepted. But instead of a relaxing time, Blackwell was quite serious and told her a depressing story. Then he just left. Freya finished her drink and Iron Bull caught her eyes. The necklace was done, and she decided to just do this now, though she was a bit nervous if Bull would actually like it. Things took a bit of an unexpected turn. After some more love-making, they were found by Cullen, then Josephine popped in as well. Freya had never been more embarrassed in her life... at least she was already dressed.
As if that wasn't enough, Cassandra joined the other two, gasping in surprise due to what she witnessed here. Cullen apparently had his fun ![]()
Freya defended her relationship with Bull, which finally made the intruders leave. After that little moment of surprise, Freya could laugh about it.
Still, her heart pounded in her chest when she pulled out the necklace for her lover, but Bull was truly touched...
Early next morning, Freya, Cassandra, Bull and Dorian left for Caer Oswin. The companions stumbled over Cassandra's old apprentice Daniel, who looked terrible. He had been force-fed red lyrium, a grim business. He told Cassandra Lord Seeker Lucius had betrayed them all, and she put him out of his misery. They pressed on to confront the Lord Seeker.
Upon defeating Lucius, Cassandra got her hands on the Book of Secrets, and back in Skyhold she learned a lot of things about the Seekers she never knew.
Freya then found a letter in the stables - Blackwall was gone and he was nowhere to be found. Leliana had a lead though, an execution in Val Royeaux. Freya was eager to find out what Blackwall's connection to this was, so off to the Empire's beautiful capital it was...
I spent a fair amount of time today taking screen shots in Skyhold and Caer Oswin, for anyone interested in some of them click the

Pretty sceenies!
Are you using Flycam? I would suggest trying to make screenshot of empty war room next time you get to Skyhold
I had never noticed the stained glass windows in the Villa Maurel before. The first is clearly about blood magic being used to corrupt the Golden City, but what is the second one about?
Maybe Magisters being cast back to Thedas? But we're missing one Magister...

I find caltrops a useless ability in general. It doesn't do much if an enemy gets in your face, but spike trap is more fun to use. That's if you're an Artificer. Btw, you're right, this specialization is a lot of fun playing as a DW! Lots of boom and pretty light shows

Thank you!
Unfortunately I'm on PS4 and can't use Flycam
My Inquisitor has to face a wall and I have to move around the camera until she turns invisible ![]()

Maybe it shows those who are either exiled from the golden city or becoming petrified into stone?
Thank you!

You're welcome
I'm a sucker for pretty scenery screenies.
Ah, pity
Or maybe not? Damn Flycam can be really addicting. And I know that method! I use it in DA2
Since I mentioned making screenshot of war room, but you can't see it... Here it is

Me too! DAI is full of it and totally steals my time, haha. So I'm somewhat glad I can't use Flycam or I'd be sucked into it even more
(who knows though, if DAI is cheap at some point on PC, I might be tempted
)
Oh wow, that looks really cool. It's great what people do with Flycam, I've also seen lots of amazing dragon shots with it, so gorgeous.

It really is.
Spike Trap works great against would-be sneaky assassins trying to ambush Sam. Now with both him and Blackwall using Beeees! on hit, the qunari don't really have much chance. We'll see how it goes in the final battle against the horde, and then against Saarath.

Flycam is just the beginning! Then you download some nice ReShade preset for screenshot purpose... and you end up fighting one dragon for 3 hours because you keep making screenshots... This didn't happen... Not at all... ![]()
Dragons are the best for screenshots. Especially EdL flying duo (Kaltenzahn and Hivernal) and Greater Mistral
