I'm a cold hearted-nug killer.  At the time I was running my Dwarfquisitor Gemma who was openly flirting with everyone and Sera said that about em being creepy, so I had Gemma kill them to impress her.  I think I was rolling Iron Bull, Dorian and Sera in that game, so I got no disapproval.   Normally I don't kill the Crestwood nugs.    I try not to kill nugs or fennec foxes.  I hate when one gets caught in a fire mine or one of Varric's traps!

Fennecs want to be friends with everyone. Unfortunately their friendly nature will be the cause of their extinction.

This thread moves fairly quickly.

 

Since I last posted in this thread, about 10 days I guess, I've completed 6 playthroughs of ME. I wanted to take a break. So yesterday I started DA2. I chose the warrior class. Shortly after encountering Isabela in the bar, I lost interest in the game. So after 5 minutes of staring at the boob tube, I decided to start a DAI playthrough. I haven't played the game since October. This will be playthrough number 19. I'm still playing on the ps3. I expect that to change by the end of the month. I'll keep my fingers crossed. Ok. Whatever

Who these two women? The scarred one mentions something about the divine and whatever. I don't give a crap. Let me go. Will you look at that? I've never seen a green tornado before let alone one that stays in the same spot. I don't have time for this. Get rid of this crap on my hand so I can go to a bar to have drink.

 

AAHHHHH. So my hand seems to respond to the green crap. Where I've heard about green crap before? Mmmm. I must be thinking of something else. Anyways its spreading which could lead to my death. Can't I play tag and pass it on to someone else? No. Lets go scarred one or as the rede one calls you, Cassandra.

 

I fight demons. See I'm a mage. You know what that means? It means I can do things that people are frightened of. I can burn a city to the ground. I can freeze everyone to death. Heck I can have lightning strke anyone I like. Zeus would be jealous.

 

I meet an elf, Solas, and dwarf, Varric, who join me and the Cassy girl. Solas says I maybe the key to closing to giant looking tornado. Whatever. If it gets rid of this whatever on/in my hand, I'm all for it.

 

That a big demon. You know the saying, right? The better they are..... A couple shots of freeeze followed by a couple lightning strike and the thing is dead. I close the hole in the sky

 

Who are you? No. The thing is still in my hand. Kill it, kill it with fire. The elf girl tells me to go see Cassy. Ok.

 

So they're going to open the Inquisition. Yeah. Good luck with that. What? What did you say? People think I'm the herald of who? No I'm not. I'm outta here. What now? That's not good. Fine. I'll help you. Just stay out of my way.

 

This is where the mother will be. She wants me to talk with whoever in Val roysomething. Yeah, yeah. Boy is she long winded.

 

I need to get influence. What I need is this whatever out of my hand. Lets go. The longer it take to do this crap, the longer I have to put with you people

Not much doing today. Talked with Thane Sun-hair and wandered the village. Freed the nug from certain doom.  Took a boat ride to the island to get Aegis of the Rift discover what Ameridan was doing in the bufu end of nowhere. Then the game got glitchy during the fight against the Hakkonites - started freezing and stuttering. Amazingly didn't crash though. Went back to Skyhold to do the two WT ops available but still had the stutter issue. Traveled back to the Basin to farm some rift goo veil quartz and then shut it down. Hopefully the glitches will be gone next time I load the game.

Last time I was playing warrior I had to run into Elite Nug while I was slaughtering them at Haven collecting materials for new armor.

 

This perfectly matched whole situation.

It depresses me that the two most widely known British comedy exports are probably Benny Hill and Mr Bean. I suppose it's because it's all visual slapstick so more easily translatable to other cultures... At least Monty Python is quite popular...

Nothing. Although, I did make a Male Mage Trevelyan whom I'm contaplating on who I want to romance. Josie is so meh but I haven't done her romance yet, but nevertheless I feel less likely to do it; Cass would be my choice, but I've already done hers 2 times. No to the Iron Bull; my dudes kind of the type of person who'd like Dorian I suppose, but I already have a Dorian Romance. *sighs

I admit, when I was younger, I only knew those two (I didn't watch it, but it was hard to at least not know about them... and this melody is so ridiculous, it stays with you). Most likely for the reason you stated. Some of the best jokes mentioned Monty Python has would be hard to translate. Better not translate at all than screw it up.

To my mind Rowan Atkinson will always be Blackadder. It's incredibly funny and intelligently written (also featuring the likes of Stephen Fry and Hugh Laurie), but is so rooted in British history and culture that it would be very tough to translate well. He is instead known around the world as Mr Bean, because that's essentially silent comedy.

 

The Benny Hill theme is actually called "Yakety Sax" and is indeed very memorable...

 

 

Anyway, Dragon Age... Conwenna is almost level 24 and she hasn't even been to Halamshiral yet...
