It depresses me that the two most widely known British comedy exports are probably Benny Hill and Mr Bean. I suppose it's because it's all visual slapstick so more easily translatable to other cultures... At least Monty Python is quite popular...
Oops. Didn't see the "comedy" qualifier. I was going to counter with Doctor Who.
Monty Python tops Mr. Bean easily. I'd also put Jeeves and Wooster above Mr. Bean.
And I agree, Blackadder FTW!
Coupling ought to be up there too IMO, but for some reason, never got as much traction out here.
So as Conwenna's about to go to Halamshiral, I thought I'd finally do Sera's romance quest. The thing about it is, though, that you have to go round all the other companions...
.... So I trigger the quest and Sera tells Conwenna about the hat she got for her that was horrible so she filled it with apples and everyone pretended it was Corypheus and hit it with sticks. Conwenna gets confused about what gift she could possibly get her, so she decides to go and ask everyone what they think...
Cole has no idea, so she goes to ask Bull...
...and triggers his post-personal-quest assassination cutscene.
Once that's done, she goes back to Bull again...
... and gets his "hit me with a stick" scene...
Once she finally establishes that Bull has no idea what to get Sera either, she heads off to talk to Cassandra...
...and gets the "I don't know how you do it" scene...
Eventually it is established that she has no idea. Nor does Blackwall or Dorian. Vivienne surprisingly has a feasible suggestion. Just Varric and Solas to go, and both their personal quests done. Surely no scenes to trigger...
... Except the wicked grace game...
Fortunately Solas had nothing to trigger except disapproval...
Finally! Sera's love scene!
And afterwards... "Got best gift. Made her purr." ![]()
Next: To Halamshiral!
YourFunnyUncle, that happened to me too. I triggered so many cutscenes that I forgot I was doing Sera's romance.
I could never forget that! ![]()
That... that would be glorious.
Shhhh, small font is the best font.
Guilty as charged.
Yes, it is. ![]()

Nothing wrong with a bit of drama to shake things up once in a while.

I get that the Inquisition is open to any allies to help defeat Corypheus, but do they ever think of protecting their people from within? Posting more soldiers isn't enough. Spies and assassins from all over infiltrate the organization more than once. It's like there's an open back door no one's noticing. Just a thought. *goes back to writing DA stories for fun*
I just figure it's Rainwall's way of finding her after she runs off in search of something. When she protests that enemies could see them too? "Bah!" he snorts. "Like you'd ever run from an enemy."
Ooh, really? Which one is it?

Leliana has loads of spies who successfully infiltrate other organisations. No reason to suppose that it doesn't work both ways...

I guess... But why can't Leliana have her own people take out enemy spies before they sneak into Skyhold?
Completed Emprise du lion, Emerald Graves and the Exalted Plains.
Now its off to Halamshiral. Who to choose!
- help the refugees in the hinterlands
- acquired a few agents
- went to Val Roy for some down time
- the templars act like they know how to march
- an arrow is stuck in the ground
- its the grand Fiona. She invites me to Redcliffe. I don't care. I want to be invited to Orangecliffe. hahahaha
- its a Sera with a bow. She wants to join. I don't understand a word she said, but if she wants to help, sure. Why not?
- Leli tells me about a Grey Warden.
- someone told me to come to the Storm Coast. Why? Is it stormy over there? hahahaha. Ok. I'll see who this Iron Bull is
- back at the hinterlands, I head to Redcliffe
- What? No one's expecting me? This is outrageous. I always get the red carpet treatment. I will talk to these mages, but I won't help them since they didn't welcome me with open arms and the red carpet.
Him talking about the Glorious Strategy.
Thanks!
I'll have to click on Cole until I get that one next time. I don't think I've heard it before, or maybe I did and just didn't know what it referenced yet.
Went to Val Royeux. Got an invitation from Vivienne but I don't plan on going there. Usually I recruit her and just never talk to her since she always disagrees with everything I do. Now I'm going to get so much satisfaction from just not responding to her invitation at all. I just wish I could send a messenger saying that she's of no importance at all to me and that I wish for her to stop bothering me.
Tobias has been busy, there are many people tugging at his sleeve with important tasks. His priority was the Shrine of Dumat, following information from Calpernia's magical crystal Mcguffins. More Mcguffins were discovered as well as an imprisoned ancient Tevinter Magister. Tobias kept Erasthenes alive to be questioned by Leliana. The decision left an unsavoury taste, but the information would be vital and Tobias had vowed to do whatever it takes to stop Coryfish.
Next they were on the trail of the Seekers with Cassandra, which led them to Caer Oswin. It seems Lord Seeker Lucius has lost the plot and betrayed the order.
Time for a swift pint in the tavern and a chat with Cabot, who declared the mood to be obsequious
.
Tobias then travelled to Emprise du Lion to sort out the Red Templar problem there and take the keep. He tried to pretend that he wasn't having a ball throwing Walking Bombs at Snoufleurs and that it was an important resource gathering mission. They came back to Skyhold with a load of dawnstone, silverite, fade touched mats and one Michel de Chevin.
Oh happy day, Tobias finally looted the battlemage mail arms schematic. I don't farm chests and so it's taken 6 playthroughs to get them. There should be a 'Snoopy Dance' cutscene when this kind of thing happens
.

Ally with the Templars and send the full might of the Inquisition to capture and imprison that apostate!

I must be really lucky in that I got the battlemage/battlemaster/prowler mail arms a gazillion PTs ago. Then I make sure to nug those bad boys up. I keep reading all these post where people don't have them after tons of runs! It's like that critical chance ring that sometimes shows up in the descent.
Anyhow, normally I put off doing the Exalted Plains (because I hate it and it can suck it) but I went in there for Dorian's quest and just forced Mina to stay in there. We killed a dragon in the fens. It was ugly. It is always ugly when I'm a necromancer with the dragons. But I prevailed.

I didn't even know that was a thing. I got them on my first run and then never again. Really missed them on my follow-up mage runs, before the Golden Nug. Now that I have the Golden Nug, I'm not running mages anymore and I don't put mage armor on Dorian or Viv. ![]()
Speaking of armor, I spent 3+ hours giving Maya's crew a new set of gear. Everyone got the same Medium armor, so I figured I'd tint them the same also. Say hello to TEAM MAYA!
Don't ask me why it took 3+ hours. I didn't seem that long when I was doing it. I have no idea where all the time went.
Pro tip for photographer's: Emprise du Lion and the Western Approach have great outdoor lighting for portraits. Crestwood in daylight is terrible. ![]()

I only know that schematic for beautiful, beautiful Tevinter Longsword became a myth a few patches ago. Fortunately, after the Golden Nug graced us with its presence, I got a save from someone who had it and finally completed my schematics' collection.

Indeed, EdL has perfect lighting. I love those spots where light shines through leaves. There are a few spots like that in other areas as well, but not with that lighting
Oh! And nice color combo! Your team looks badass and fabulous!
Dorian definitely approves.
When Freya arrived in Val Royeaux she first met up with two more Orlesian nobles who could help elevate the Du Paraquettes.
The time came for the scheduled execution of a man called Cyril Mornay. Freya and her companions stood in the crowd, eagerly awaiting signs of Blackwall.
He came, but things took an unexpected turn and he's... not actually Blackwall. He confessed he only took his name, that his real name is Thom Rainier. Freya couldn't believe it, she thought she knew him... And to top it all, he was the man who gave the order for the crime Mornay was about to pay for.
Blackwall was taken to prison and Freya paid him a visit, told him she was disappointed in how he broke the trust between them. She asked him some questions and he did his best to explain himself. After their talk Cullen waited by the entrance and told Freya they could get Rainier out for her to judge back in Skyhold. Freya didn't know what to do. She was still shaken, and she had to think about it, let this business sink in a bit and clear her head.
She and Bull walked through the city a bit, and she began to calm down. Bull was always there for her and she forgot about the bad things whenever she was spending time with him. As she looked out at the water, she made her decision. She didn't want Rainier to die. What he had done was bad, no doubt, but she believed in second chances for some, and he can still help. Redeem himself. She hoped they could rebuild the trust between them. Maybe someday...
After this mess, she and her companions made another stop in the Exalted Plains. Earlier she had promised Solas to help his spirit friend, and Freya wanted to get the Wyvern heart for Vivienne. They got the heart, but they had done so without Solas. He had returned to Skyhold after his spirit friend did not get out of the situation alive. A shame.
Then it was time to head for the Emerald Graves... Scout Harding greeted Freya as usual, and she set out to find a man called Fairbanks.
I made some more screen shots of the Fallow Mire, Val Royeaux and also Emerald Graves. Will probably go through them tomorrow and post some of them then ![]()
Finally remembered to check the Wiki on the golden nug. What a nice surprise having several minutes worth of schematics collected. I'm sorry now I just made new armor. It was nice seeing garden seeds too. Other than that I fought the Fear Demon and took Citadelle du Death Ray. The thing that drives me nuts about that place is the amount I get lost. I can exit the same way I entered and loot a couple chests I didn't get to on the way in, but I seem to remember being able to explore a lot more, like on the walls and roofs.
Now I have to build up another Perk for more inventory going into WEWH.

Lovely pic.
I had all these old PTs including my girl Caitlyn's where she didn't have the battlemage arms, but one of my mages after her got them (maybe my elven necromancer Zoey? or maybe Maxwell?). So before I did trespasser on NM with Cait I took all of my other quizzys to the nug just to make sure they all had the best stuff and somehow I managed to get the arms with warrior/rogue/mage. Who knew? I do remember finding those battlemage arms in Emprise du Lion though in the keep. I was so effing excited. Like a kid at Christmas. LOL. Oh, the little things!
I stop my DAI playthrough. Yeah I know. Everyone is disappointed. The game puts a lot of stress on the ps3. So I will hold off on playing the game until I get the ps4 and game of the year edition. Fingers crossed that I get it before the end of the month.
So I continued my DA2 playthrough as a warrior. I'm trying a few different things to see what happens. I will post the results when I get to them.
