Do they respawn...? I've never found more than one in any playthrough.
Same here. So I'd say, respawn frequency is zero or less.
Congrats on Adoribull. It's about time, but well worth it.

Oh, good! Once they start the rest should happen fairly quickly (hopefully
).
As for the mats....no idea. By the time I get to JoH, I'm usually only killing non-quest stuff because it's in my way (random Hakkonites) or keeps attacking me (spiders). I farm veil quartz and then don't even use it or, I do use it and then the masterwork material overrides the color and I have to re-tint anyway. Using the nug has really kinda spoiled that part of the game (no, I'm not going to not use it
). I can craft armor and weapons while still at mid-level and use them for the rest of the game.

But the RNG hates me, so your mileage may vary.

Thanks guys.
Actually yes, i can confirm that they do respawn. I have now killed two on this PT and have 18 Imbued Tusket Hide. It took quite a while for it to happen, though. Many Hakkonite mooks died so that I might get this leather... ![]()
So, I diverged from my usual way of playing this game and did Adamant before WEWH.
Fun times in the Fade!
Sad Hawke is sad...

Nice shot of IB creeping in the background here..

That moment when you run into the Divine in the Fade... Also, nice shot of Sera creeping back there...

In holy imagery, you often see a halo or a glow around religious icons or saints. the Divine literally glows...

Mina managed to make her way out of the Fade, sans Stroud. She then banished the Wardens. Including Blackwall (let's be honest, he was riding the pine this entire game and I've not used him once. #sorrynotsorry.).
Got back to Skyhold only to have to go deal with some noble crap in Halamsharal..

Maker only knows what kind of Tom Foolery will happen there...besides dodgy elves..
So, Adoribull is achieved, and Conwenna now has armour crafted entirely from tier 4 materials (apart from the masterwork obviously.)
Time to put Cass back in the party and figure out a way past that ice wall...

What font setting is that for subtitles? It appears to be a lot more readable than the default - thicker/bolder lines, and not all caps.
Maya's story is on hold while I try different Artificer loadouts. I did an experiment with Throw Everything on the first Descent mob. Broke the game, it was like friend and foe had a slow spell on them. Then graphics glitched and big black rectangles covered the screen. Too many explosions! Guess I have to give up on Throw Everything.
This screenshot has 27 damage numbers on it, just from Elemental Mines.
Spoiler
I looooove those mines. So many pretty explosions.
I'm fairly certain they caused my game to crash at least once, but the massive AoE damage is totally worth it. ![]()
Can anyone guess where I am...?
One of the DLC areas, probably the Frostbacks. I base that guess on the fact that I have no idea where that is and haven't played any of the DLCs.

I think that's the Haven/Frostback Mountains starting map Out of Bounds?

You both got the Frostbacks right, but it's not from the DLC or the starting map... ![]()

Hmmm, I know I saw pics from that before (which is why I knew it was the Frostbacks) and someone said from where it was, but I can't remember ![]()
*sees new post*
Ah~ yes, the I fall out of the Fade area near the Temple of Sacred Ashes (well, now the flying Temple of Sacred Ashes)
Tho wth is that building without a roof? xD Who was the architect? Who thought not having windows was okay? xD
A little better view...
Going out of bounds during the fight against Coryface? That first pic made me think of Haven's aftermath after the Herald buried it under an avalanche.

Yep! Decided to take the scenic route in the Coryface fight. I'd done this once before, but I found this cool little village and (windowless) greathall which I had missed the first time. Was this meant to be Haven? I don't know...

-snip-
Beautiful. xD
Hmm it could be Haven, somehow the Greathall reminds me of the old Chantry of Haven. You know where the Disciples of Andraste used to be. I'm probably wrong, but I doubt the Chantry would want to sing the Chant of Light in that bloodied building. ![]()
On a different note: The building being windowless reminds me of Spain, where people start building hotels and suddenly there's not enough money to finish the building, so they just let it stand there. Unfinished.
(I think that's Spain...)

I looked around for telltale bloodstains, just in case... ![]()
I did find Ferelden banners hanging from the rafters....

... and this carpet. Just a pattern, or heraldry?

Conwenna has met another elven mage Inquisitor, slain a possessed Ice Dragon, and found out that Harding knows about her Elfroot problem. ![]()
She also now has a staff made entirely of tier 4 materials to go with her armour. Shame you can't tint weapons...
Tobias has had an eventful week. He negotiated with Josephine to have Blackwall/Rainier released to the Inquisition for judgement. Tobias gave him a second chance.
On a resource gathering trip to EdL, they heard a woman softly humming. Tobias stopped and turned to look...
They vanquished the Gamordan Stormrider, but not before she threw Tobias into a pool of poison. Rude.
Back at Skyhold, Bull surprised Tobias with a gift of the most ridiculous bed in all of Thedas. Imagine the staff who had to lug it up those stairs, the suppressed giggles, the person whose job it is to...polish it. Those little cushions. Everything. ![]()

How do you get out of bounds during Coryface's fight? I've done that in the Hinterlands and Val Royeaux.

I finally got the dragon upgrades for this throne. My Necromancer Inquisitor is happy ![]()
Nicely designed... if a bit drafty.

There are a couple of ways to get OOB in that fight. As you're fighting Cory through the temple, you'll run across a round tower with a crack along it's side. You can jump through that crack and there is a pit that leads OOB. You'll have to have some way of making yourself invulnerable though to navigate some of the drops. I recently found a PC trainer that lets me make really big jumps, so I just hopped over the invisible wall at the very start of the fight...
In the Deep Roads, Maya's secret hope of finding an ancient dwarven treasure trove, or at least a new smuggling route, had dwindled down to nearly nothing. Too many darkspawn!
She did get some use out of her thyselfie stick. She planned to ask Josie to have this statue moved to Skyhold. It should look pretty good in the garden, or maybe out by the front gate. Not a lick of loot on, in, under or around the statue, though. Rather disappointing.
When Maya found an old room full of crates and barrels, she got a bit excited. Surely something valuable had to be stored here? She asked Cass to pry the lids off of every container, but she got a little carried away. "Sorry, Inquisitor. With a greatsword like this, there are only two speeds: off and off with their heads."
Before long, Cass had the room completely cleared. About 50 containers, not a thing of value in any of them. Just some dusty old dwarven mug!
Viv, bored with Cass's brutal treatment of crates, had found a quiet spot near a table towards the back of the room. She found a convenient foot stool to rest a boot on while she wiped dust and darkspawn off of it with a rag.
Maya, frustrated with the lack of loot, turned to go and in doing so, noticed what Viv was doing.
"Oh Vivienne, dearest?" Maya said, in her most honey-dipped voice.
"Yes, my dear? Has Cassandra worked out her issues on the ancient boxes?"
"Vivienne, what is that you are resting your boot on?"
"What, this ancient dwarven foot stool?"
"That's no footstool, deepstalker-brain! That's a loot chest!"
It was small, but it was something. Maya tried all her picks and deft hands, but nothing would open it.
Dorian said, "Perhaps it has something to do with this child's puzzle?"
Cass said, "Don't waste the Inquisitors time, Dorian! What would a child's puzzle have to do with a locked chest?"
"Perhaps everything," Dorian said. He proceeded to solve the puzzle. After placing the last disk on the right hand peg, there was a loud clacking sound, as of a lock opening.
Maya rubbed her hands together, "Nice job, Dorian! That's the sound of money."
After cleaning out the chest, Maya took her crew deeper into the Deep Roads. They ran into another ogre and a bunch of darkspawn, but cleared them out quickly. What were they so intent on protecting?
Jackpot! A long lost dwarven Thaig! Had to be brimming with loot. Maya couldn't wait to explore it!

That face still creeps me out, especially since it likes to... move around on her... his... head. ![]()
Well, it did suffer the energetic unlocking of an old-timey orb. Blew the roof off, literally.
No one rocks the block like Cory... ![]()

Yeah. One of the creepiest, but probably also one of the most recognisable DAI glitches ![]()
Doesn't change a fact that my Quizzies always question their life choices after seeing her. "Remind me Varric, why did I agree to do this sh*t?" "You didn't, you were volunteered."
