That face still creeps me out, especially since it likes to... move around on her... his... head.

The huge head is creepy enough, but it's the humming and muttering "this is weird" as well.

The dwarf doesn't only say "This is weird." but also "I hate Red Lyrium." and I guess I know why.... *looks at the deformed head*

I decided that I'd tint Conwenna's outfit to match her staff. Surprisingly I quite like it... Also I think Dorian suits Avvar Twill...

I love the Hat of the Inquisitor, and I adore the Prowler Mail on Sera. In this case they actually work well together tactically, too, as the Prowler Mail schematics don't have many defensive cloth slots so the mage hat can give her a magic defense boost. Useful for a ranged character. I'm actually quite surprised by how much I like the big plumed Orlesian helmet on Cass. I think she'd probably hate it. ;)

Argh....was hoping to finish Trespasser tonight but I ran into a bug I don't know how to fix. When going through the mirror to head for the Darvaarad, where someone mentions what happened with the mark and quizzy says something to the effect of, "It's been great," I get only silence. :( Nobody says anything. I went back and came through again, no change. Picked a different party, no change. Not a game-breaker, of course, but totally killed the mood. I want to hear what romanced Bull says in this situation. :crying:

Edit: well, apparently exiting the game and restarting fixed whatever the issue was. Then I missed hitting print screen on Bull's response. <_<

Freya had to judge Thom Rainier. It was weird to see him from the throne, but it all went well. She freed him, and he joined the Inquisition once again. Then it was time to return the Snowy Wyvern heart to Vivienne. Freya hoped it was still fresh enough (no way it could be, because she was forever in the Emerald Graves before that :P). Vivienne had needed the heart to help her love, Duke Bastien de Ghislain, but it was too late.

Spoiler

Leliana had gotten a message from the deceased Justinia, and wanted to go to Valence, asking Freya to come along. Freya agreed, but first she needed to take care of some other things. She talked with Rainier, and he wanted to continue to use the name Blackwall. She then checked up on Sera who had a surprise for her - cookies and a story of Sera's past on the roof. Sera seems to keep the Skyhold people well fed.

Spoiler

Freya finally had gotten the amulet needed for Cole, so she, Cole and Solas tried it out. It didn't work though, and they were joined by Varric, who suggested that maybe it didn't work on Cole because he was no demon or spirit. Freya didn't know what to believe, but she trusted Solas with it, he knew a lot of things about spirits. Eventually they travelled to Redcliffe, because Cole had felt the reason for the amulet not working was there. They found a man, and Cole accused him of having killed him. As it turned out, not really him, but the real Cole. The Cole that was left and forgotten in an orlesian dungeon and starved to death.

Solas could convince Cole to help the man, as was his task as a spirit, one of Compassion. Cole did help the templar, which in return helped him, too. The amulet worked now.

Spoiler

After Freya had checked up on Cole to make sure he was alright, she travelled to Valence with Leliana and saw her ruthless side when she killed a chantry sister. Granted, she was an enemy of the Inquisition, but Freya had tried to win her over, and was quite shocked Leliana just ended her life in such a way.

Next, she met up with Josephine in Val Royeaux, and she was pleased to hear that Josie's life was no more in danger. She was reliefed she didn't have to meet any more nobles for the moment. She and Josephine split ways and Freya met up with her companions to travel through Emprise du Lion. There were some problems here with Red Templars and a demon, so they set out to investigate.

Spoiler

Saved my favourite map for last, I always do that  I love the snow  So, obviously, I made a lot of scenery screenshots, and there are also some of Valence chantry.

The actual fight only lasted 47 seconds.

Later Greed went down the Deep Roads again, on the search for the last few missing Gears and found this guy.

Hunh, I wonder what triggers the glitch... In the crazy-number-of-times I've been there, that's the first time I've run across it.

Well, at least now I have an alibi, "It wasn't me! It was the (soon to be) one-armed girl!"

Aaargh! The Print Screen button is for some reason no longer saving my DA screenshots! I've tried restarting my PC, disabling and reenabling the overlay in Origin, verifying the install but nothing has helped. Anyone got any ideas?

Maybe. Either that or running around with your LI aka the Dread Wolf, makes the tides angry.

Is your screen resolution set to monitor size? In DAO I couldn't take screenies until the in-game resolution matched my monitor's. (no idea if that affects DAI tho)

I'm getting a sinking suspicion the Gods of BioWaria simply don't like the Dalish...

Yeah. Screen resolution is 1080p which is the native resolution of the monitor. It was working fine until today. Suddenly when I checked my screenshot folder, nothing new. I haven't changed any settings. I don't understand what has happened.

It's just a standard USB keyboard. Not a gaming one with special drivers. Also the key works fine in windows.

Hmm... try alt-tabbing out and then back into the game (that has helped on some other games). Also, if you have Onedrive, there is a setting to save screenshots to it which can mess things up with DAI. Un-ticking that option will restore normal functionality.

I alt-tab all the time. That hasn't done anything. I don't have OneDrive but there's a similar thing in DropBox. I double checked and it's turned off. I decided to try re-installing DAI. I have a quick connection and unlimited downloads, so... We'll see if it helps.

Kinda cool that some of us are doing Descent at more-or-less the same time.

Maya took her time to work her way through the ruined Thaig. So many dwarven loot chests! Some of them were locked behind bloody gear doors, so collecting those gears took time as well.

Maye ended up breaking both ankles, a wrist, cracked her skull like a hard boiled egg and basically covered her body with bruises, due to all the suicidal jumps required to get to the loot and gears. Cass was long past being fed up with carrying the Inquisitor back to camp for healing. But it was all worth it! Dozens of unique dwarven rings, amulets and belts!

Spoiler

Maya found a lost caravan and an awesome high caste dwarven bed that she'd have Josie haul up to the surface.

Spoiler

Finally, with every ounce of loot extracted, Maya was ready to help the Legion clear the darkspawn out of the ruins. It was one long lift ride to the floor of the cavern.

Spoiler

The few darkspawn here and there weren't too much trouble. Some were even friendly. This one undead fella agreed to pose for a painting with the Inquisitor. Then she put an exploding arrow in his eye and that was that.

Spoiler

Maya called for a rest stop at a convenient dwarven watering hole. What all that deep mushroom ale was doing down there was anyone's guess. Maya offered to serve, to make up for all the rescue and recovery her crew had to put up with.

Spoiler

Renn warned against overconfidence. There was a big nest up ahead and that was going to be, in his words, "The fight of our lives."
