Wanted to add to "what this big ass mirror reflects" guessing game.

 

Here's how the Well of Sorrows looks like before someone drinks from it.

As we can see, one of Eluvians is clearly bigger than the rest. Also, tiles match (just like PapaCharlie9 said).

 

And this is after drinking.

Stairs. The same stairs that, at least I, clearly see in that reflection. 

 

It's the Well of Sorrows. Now no one can covince me otherwise *makes the most stubborn expression*

Strangely, this reminds me of the Well of Sorrows.

 

That tile work looks like the Temple of Mythal to me ...

Very pretty area, if a bit single-minded in architecture.

 

Yeah, after some poking around the Well of Sorrows last night, I'm now fairly certain that's were it is.

I started to use mods and while I browsed through Nexusmods I found Craftable Ardent Blossom by mercurialMalconent and multicolor Ardent Blossom by jacknifelee and I just had to download them.

I think you and Rascoth are on to something. Is Solas gathering his followers in the Arbor Wilds and tracking down Abelas? Then again... A future game is taking place in Tevinter that has a lot of elven history before human civilization moved in.

Anyways. I ordered the game of the year edition for Inquisition. It will be here Wednesday. I will finally be able to play the descent and trespasser dlc's

Love this eyebrow raise by Valta when Renn is convinced simply because the book has the seal of a paragon. They did a great job of establishing the chemistry between those two in a short time.

This is the default for the PS4.  I think they have a large size setting though.

What?! Why is the default so much more readable than for PC? Anyone know if I can get that font in my game? Do I need to pick a different subtitle option?

What?! Why is the default so much more readable than for PC? Anyone know if I can get that font in my game? Do I need to pick a different subtitle option?

I finally recreated my fave DW Assassin lady Inquisitor, Natalia for a second run. The first time I played as her, I had the default world state. So in this run, I made a custom world for her.

Going back in time and meeting Cassandra, future BFF and Divine. Natalia has a different hairstyle for now. In a way, this is her pre-winter ball look.

 

 

Meeting Connor for the first time in Redcliffe village. Natalia didn't encounter Dorian in the Chantry after meeting Fiona and Alexius.

 

 

Allying with the Templars again and Ser Barris is soon to be Knight Commander.

Sealing the breach. I noticed Solas is helping the Herald along with whoever's allied when I looked at this pic closely. 

 

 

Natalia made it to Skyhold and is crowned Inquisitor. I also got her Assassin specialization following that.

 

 

Speaking to Leliana in the rookery. The Venture Forth outfit is Natalia's regular look while roaming around Skyhold.

Agreed, but that reminds me of a question. When I fought the last mob of the Darkspawn Warren level, the one with the single Ogre and a bunch of other darkspawn, where the bodies of the fallen Legion warriors have to be lit on fire afterwards, there was no battle music. Was that a glitch, or is there none set for that battle?

Congrats! You've been waiting a long time for this day. I bet you're glad that it has finally arrived. May you tag every Harlequin on the first try and run the fireworks show 100% perfectly.

Hmm....I just played that not long ago and I don't recall. I don't think there is any special music for that fight though, since it's kind of run-of-the-mill darkspawn (albeit a lot of them).

Is it wrong of me to intentionally drag out the multi-wave battle later on just to listen to the music longer?

I've waited a long time even though I could've bought one at anytime. I guess I was in no rush at the time and frustrated that the rest of the dlc's for Inquisition wasn't available for the ps3. I just went into Best Buy and bought one. Got a good discount.

ULLIA MINT TOOTH IN THE ARBOR WILDS

So I had Ullia Mint Tooth try to follow the trail of Ameridan but when she reached the temple, activated the alters to destroy the fortress ice wall, then went back to Skyhold.

 

 

 

 

Back at Skyhold Ullia told her group she is ready to attack the Arbor Wilds. She got her group ready to go. She was proud at how well her group has fought thus far and hoped to see the end of their journey.

 

 

Now at the Arbor Wilds Morrigan tells Ullia that their main goal is to reach the Well of Sorrows before Corypheus so he won't become very powerful.

 

 

Once they were nearing their objective they came across ancient elves, the venetori, and Corypheus. Corypheus was killed by a elven trap.

 

 

But was revived shortly afterward. Ullia chose to pursue the venetori regardless of taking Morrigans advice to complete elven rituals (+ points for Sera and Vivianne)

 

 

They meet the leader of the ancient elves who wasn't a happy camper. He ordered his men to kill Ullia and her group. Ullia made short work of them then continued pursuing the venetori.

 

 

Ullia catches up with Capernia who planned on claiming the wells power for Corypheus but gets convinced that Corypheus plans on betraying her by sacrificing her. Ullia lets her go in hopes Capernia would be true to her word to build a better Tevintir (+ points for Vivianne)

 

 

Ullia reaches the well and comes across the leader of the ancient elves who tries to take the power of the well for himself.

 

 

Morrigan begged to differ. Ullia had no problem with this outcome.

 

 

Morrigan tells Ullia how she must claim the power of the well. Vivianne felt it would be best that Ullia would because Morrigan is untrustworthy.

 

 

So Ullia took the well because she agreed with Vivianne that it would be bad for Morrigan to take the power of the well.

 

 

Corypheus reaches the well and tries to pursue Ullia but is foiled

 

 

Back at Skyhold Ullia explains how they need to find a ritual site in homage to Mythral in order for Ullia to rival Corypheus and his arch demon.

 

 

Shortly before doing so Ullia finds Morrigan entering a mirror taking her to the fade where she meets Morrigan, Kierian and Flemeth. Ullia wasn't sure how to make of the situation but allowed the situation play itself out.

 

 

Morrigan was given Kirian back.

 

 

Ullia then conversed with her allies regarding nearing the end of their journey.

 

 

Phew. I would of had this post done earlier but I had a weird crash situation.

ULLIA VS THE JAWS OF HAKKON FINAL BIT

Ullia went back to the frostback mountains and corrdinated an attack on the Hakkon temple. They went in and stopped the ritual.

 

 

(By the way it took me two tries. I just pwned this boss fight. and yes I kept it on NIGHTMARE. I swear I should make a post on how to make a good NIGHTMARE mage offensive mage build).

 

 

Ullia and her group meets the first inquisitor Ameridan and he explains what happened to him thus far. Ullia explains what happened to his lover.

 

 

Cassnadra also explains how it's unusual that the first inquisitor was a mage but admits how the inquisition's history has been lost and is in dire need of a rewrite and for the past to be exposed to what's true and what's false.

 

 

After Ameridan gives his final farewell Hakkon awakens and flies off. Ullia fights him to the bitter end (took me to tries) and defeats it.

 

 

Harding was really impressed. Ullia thanked her for her help.

 

 

Back at the Thanes hold Storvakker was given a "unbearable sentence" of just being a bear servant for the rest of it's life to the thane.

 

 

I was shocked I cake walked JOH almost. I had some hiccups but it was do-able.

Today I cleared up a lot of Frostback Basin (JoH). I found a total new quest I didn't do on my first playthrough, which was finding these magical blood magic skulls placed by the JoH in the swamp and receiving codex entries from the augur.

Also, I found that I actually need to upgrade and use potions when playing on nightmare. To my surprise I needed to go back and harvest all that spindleweed and rashvine I normally ignore to concoct strong regeneration potions and cold-resistance tonics.

So I took Cole, Solas and Dorian to wander through the beautiful Storm Coast and Emprise Du Lion, simply to gather herbs. With the even ground trial, all the old enemies we met in those regions, although I'd already cleared them out, still turned out difficult enough as they were consistently our level.

I also learned I could jack up Solas' and Dorian's staves to over 220+ dps with Superb runes. Since the rifts on JoH are ridiculous, I gave them all Superb Demon Slaying runes. Dorian simply LOVES his Vestments of the Pure armor we got from the Deep Roads, with Sigil of the Arcane Horror so his spirit spells can shine. And Cole has the best medium armor we also got from the deep roads.

In my past playtroughs I never used Cole. But I brought him along for the Stone-Bear Hold arena trials, and as long as I controlled him, he was DEADLY af. I was surprised. When I don't control him, he goes down a lot, but when I do, he's an amazing one-by-one assassin, especially with the Jaws of Hakkon bowmen.

Also I discovered the Mark of the Assassin with early-detonation, and the hidden blades abilities on the assassin tree.

I've been playing my Adaar, and I really enjoyed it until I reached Skyhold with him and noticed how much he clips They shrink the Qunari for some cutscenes but the clothes he's wearing don't shrink so his chin constantly clips into his collar and I can't stand how it looks. I want to romance Dorian with him but from what I've seen the clipping and shrinking issues get even worse then

I think it's specifically set only for the battle with waves and target numbers of darkspawn to kill. Basically it goes from opening the door with the scorched gears to killing the Emissary Alpha.

Also I discovered the Mark of the Assassin with early-detonation, and the hidden blades abilities on the assassin tree.

Combined with a Tempest's Thousand Cuts you have dead high dragons. Who needs warriors and mages, anyway?

If it makes you feel better On my 32 inch TV I can barely read any codex entries unless I lean forward and strain.  LOL!  Guess my couch is too far away.
