Memories...
Obligatory shot of "Not another massive monster to defeat" face.
"She always comes back."
Next to the Arbor Wilds...
I just figured out why there's an ice staff next to the blacksmith's place in Haven during In Your Heart Shall Burn
I was doing about 5 points of damage with my fire staff against Knight-Captain Denam *facepalm*
yah so I discovered it's impossible to defeat the four Hakkon spellbinders right before Gurd Harofson or whatever in the final battle in the old temple in Jaws of Hakkon on nightmare.... if you don't bring along any guard-stacking warriors. I originally went in there with Dorian, Cole, and Solas. Instant-kill, every one of them. I saved, reloaded. Saved, reloaded. Like 20 times, and no matter what strategies I came up with, no matter how stealthy I tried to be, I couldn't manage. So I went all the way back to a previous save and brought Blackwall and Cassandra, and it just took like two or three tries and I finally beat the whole quest. Gosh! I hated those four goddam spellbinders. aarrgghh!!
Man, I'm playing on hard again with some trials on and I totes forgot how much a pain in the arse the Hakkonites are. They keep one shotting the crap out of poor Mina. But luckly since she is a necro she just dies and pops right back up since she has similacrum and that 1% heal on hit snofleur masterwork on her staff. I've taken to having someone with a rejuvenation potion running so that proximity heal can keep Sera/Dorian/Bull alive. Bull is also particularly vulnerable to the Hakkonites too. Ugh. Hakkonites are the worst. THE WORST. I'm just in the Frostbacks to get Dorian and Bull to hook up though.. a girl has her priorities. #matchmakerextraordinaire.
What this shot needs is some music ... The Sound Of Music.
The hills are alive, with the sound of muuuuuuuuuuuusic ...

- See this is why we need a proper toolset for DAI. We need things like mods so that we can break out into song when we need... nay, must!
That blue ice is awesome. Inky shouldn't share those with anyone
It's true... it is almost too good to share.
"Almost" being dependent on my potential net income on sales...
And the grassy flowery field with the mountain scenery... I don't know why, but I picture the Inquisitor yodelling out here...
See - more crucial reasons to have a proper toolset!
Are you reading this BioWare?!

Blue ice is not for sale! Though it now kinda reminds me of the fortress of solitude in Superman...
Why yes, let's have the option to burst into song before killing Coryface, his minions and whoever stands in the Inquisitor's way! How much will this cost BioWare to animate and render on Frostbite I wonder???
So... How's the lady supposed to get back to Skyhold just in time for her war table meeting after wandering so so sooooo far away?
Take a giant leap and fly a la Man of Steel! And no, I won't be watching the Batman vs Superman movie... Eagerly awaiting Captain America Civil War.
Freya progressed a little bit in Emprise du Lion. She encountered some floating things...
Then she entered a Keep, where according to Michel de Chevin, a demon would wait. Sounds fun, right?
After they met and had slain the demon, another Keep was claimed and the Inquisition made themselves a new home.
Freya went on to search for that exciting item from the tiniest cave! I looked up where the entrance was, who would EVER find that?
Anyway, it's a pretty thing, but I will not let her wear it, I stick to my own crafted helmet.
Aaand some more EdL shots:
I just got the game of the year edition. Downloaded all updates, dlc's and other stuff. Took about 50 minutes.
I just got through the character creator thing part when I saved the game. I will post screenshots later.

A couple of questions
What's the deal with trials? Can I turn them on at anytime during the game or do they need to be turned on at the start to get whatever from them?
What's with this sigil thing that I see for armor?

Trials can be turned on at any point during the game, but to get the achievements associated with them, some have to be on at certain points in the game (some at start). You get occasional special shipment rewards for leaving them on and some of them are pretty good (eg. fade-touched materials)...
http://dragonage.wikia.com/wiki/Trials
Sigils are new armor upgrades (which, unlike runes, are swappable). TBH, I find the majority aren't worth it...

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!!!!!!!!!!
I didn't know sigils were swappable! I sold the armor that had my one and only Great Bear Sigil ...

^^ Agreed on the sigils....I think the only ones I find remotely useful are the Bronto for warriors and Great Bear for mages. I used Deepstalker on my DW artificer for the flanking damage too. You can also kind of pair them with some of the new gear to somewhat offset the negative effects.
Edit to respond to PapaCharlie's cry:

Oh no! You should be able to get at least one more though. I usually end up with at least two of them. I made sure to test it out first thing....I saved my game, then added a sigil and tried to remove it. Was very happy to see they were swappable. Still wish runes were....in that regard, Dagna has nothing on Sandal. ![]()

On the plus side though, there are a couple of places you can pick up that sigil...
Looted from a chest in the spider cave in the Forbidden Oasis.
Rewarded upon completing Gain Orzammar's Friendship War Table operation.

Yup. Other than the Bronto & Great Bear sigils, the only other one I've dabbled with is the Lyrium one with KEs....

You've to be kidding me. you don't know? *drops to the floor*
Well, never mind, you know now.
Just remember. RPGs, RPG MMOs, whatever, where crafting is concern, always check if the upgrades can be removed / transferred before dumping any item.
I usually get two GB sigils in my PTs.
P.S. This is OT. I want to share something I recently discovered.

Glyndwyr Lavellan finished about half the companion quests in one day, and Leiliana and Cullen's quests. He also handled the soldiers in the Fallow Mire. I also found out how to trigger Rescue the Spy, and did it as all three of my Inquisitors. Malverde Trevelyan took Leiliana's approach, Tal'Ataashi Adaar took Cullen's, and Glyndwyr had Josephine doing it when I went to bed. (This was supposed to be yesterday's post, but I accidentally put it in another thread.)
Ughhhhh... demanding... people... everywhere.
Why can't they be demanding to give me things... like money (mountains thereof), statues (of me) or (and) a small province that isn't in the middle of snowhere.
