Adaar went to Crestwood to find the Warden but got distracted by a massive rift in the lake. He went through the caves underneath old Crestwood to find the rift and he seemed really cold in his Antaam-Saar. But ever since Solas pointed out that Qunari can't fit normal shirts over their heads, I can't put normal armor on my Adaar, only the Qunari ones :( Thanks a lot Solas.

How did you get out there? I want to find that meadow, too. lol

To get out there, I use a PC trainer (LinGon) that allows me to make really big jumps to get over the walls.

From there, you just follow the valley past the army encampment which will eventually turn to the right. And then just keep following it until you reach the meadow (which is enormous!). :)

That whole region is vast, we actually see very little of it from Skyhold. It's probably a 40 min.+ jog just to get to the meadow!

Ugh why can't we have a mod kit? We could do stuff with that!

I will be trying that method out to go touring, though. :) Thanks, Hrungr.

I restarted a playthrough , I can't say new because it's the same old Inquisitor , the one and only.

Then I went nightmare , and put almost all trials on (except 1 health per potion and fair weather friends) , I've already done that before but I've crafted high level weapons to ease the pain...this time I felt lazy and thought "Meh what could possibly go wrong?"

That's how I ended up fighting for more than 20 minutes at the Crossroad one apostate with infinite barrier , and a templar with guard who one shooted my party members every 10 scds.

I did not wipe because I've mastered the art of running away until companions rose up from the dead , but bleh.

I even got a party banter triggerring and being interrupted by Giselle cutscene.

I haven't had much play time this week so far, but managed to grab a couple of hours today - so Tobias messed about in the Frostback Basin. He took Cole, Bull and Cassandra, which I realise is Team Liability when you rely on AI in this area. They didn't do too badly, although Bull died so often I ended up giving him Kitty's Collar for the 75% resurrection chance - it worked like a charm  :D.

This guy was a beast. He one shotted the 3 of them at the same time and Tobias had to solo the fight. His strategy was panic and just throw everything.

Spoiler

Oh hurray, another crazy helm and Cassandra has taken up levitation, in honour of the Augur. Cole greeted the spirits with a cheerful "hello" .

Spoiler

I got the Bow of Artifice as a trial reward, which I didn't even know existed. Fancy. I haven't tested it yet.

My playthrough on the ps4 is going well. I just finished siding with the templars and having Cole join the Inquisition. I will post screenshots tomorrow

There is a very big difference from the ps3 to the ps4. There is dialogue I've never heard on the ps3 that I do on the ps4. That dialogue is only 2 or 3 words and happens when fighting the enemies.  Its like I'm playing a different game. Because the ps4 has more robust background/scenery such as trees, bushes, etc, I've been a bit lost at times even though I've played the game several times on the ps3.

This may seem odd, but I find the combat easier on the ps4. I even regret not starting this playthrough on nightmare. Oh well. I will for the next playthrough.

I finished Trespasser and even though this is probably like my FOURTH Trespasser playthrough, I still found an entire section I didn't do before!!!!

The research tower at the Darvaraad! Holy crap! It was always locked in previous games and I didn't understand how to get in. I always thought that gaatlock next to the door probably had something to do with it but I was usually too stressed out and scared of all the wandering guards to take a closer look. Finally, this time I grabbed onto the ladder and climbed up :)

And encountered a selfie mural painted by teh Dread Wolf <3 <3

Adorable Solas selfie mural. Yes. VERY YES. How could I have missed it all this time? *sobs*

Too bad the dagger or whatever that I looted from completing the three-veilfire-torch puzzle was super weak compared to the gear I already had.  I honestly crafted the best, I mean the BEST gear this playthrough and absolutely nothing I looted in Trespasser could best any of it :(

Also, I don't know why but I didn't unlock the "You're Fen'Harel" pre-emptive dialogue option with Solas. *sigh*

The team I used throughout the entirety of Trespasser was Dorian, Vivienne, and Blackwall.

Maybe this is why the Hissing Waste is so stark and barren? To give ps3 and xbox360 players some even ground?

Not odd at all. The game is probably more responsive. Maybe the frame rate is locked to 30 on PS3 and not on PS4?

Once again, self-insert was set aside. I have a plan now though (and more mods.... ). I am finishing up two of my play throughs that just needed to get out of the Deep Roads (Descent), and past those pesky Qunari (Trespasser).

So yesterday I finished off Descent with my Cayte Trev (Archer Assassin), and am to the Deep Roads (AGAIN?!?!?) in Trespasser. I have today off, so I will finish out her run and finally put her to bed. I'll grab Abel Trev (Rift Mage) - who is near the beginning of Trespasser - and polish off his final hurrah!

This will ease the load of open play throughs in the character list. Especially since I have decided to remove my first ever PC (Ulee Lavellan) and recreate/restart from scratch. She is/was my most detailed character, but she was hit with a number of those release bugs (since she was my first PC). Patches were released, of course, that correct them, but I had tried to play through some of them originally....the long and short of it is, I felt her play through was always a bit of a mess. And considering the thought and time I put in to her background and personality, she deserves better....plus mods. ;)

I will wait till I finish off my self-insert, my Cassmancing Samhal, and my grizzled female Lavellan warrior (all which are around the mid to 2/3 of the way through the game. And I have decided that I won't try and do some of the things I usually do. It will be a hard habit to break, but I can find definite reasons why some of these characters should not be going to all the places (especially Ari my warrior elf....her time is valuable, dammit! ). This should help speed up said play throughs, and help me to feel less pressed when I am ready to restart Ulee, and get into my other two remaining play throughs (my male Adaar, Rom, and Petra, human mage).

Seriously...why do I do this to myself?

Advice to self for future rpgs: play one character, from start to finish, one at a time. Got it? Good. :P

OH! And I do have pictures incoming. Not uploaded yet. Will post later today....hopefully.

I read about Sten and Arishok in Dragon Age Wikia because I've NEVER been able to get on Sten's good side. I've played DA:O like 8 or 10 times and literally never unlocked his friendship, because I never  discovered he liked paintings D:

So when I heard rumors that he became Arishok, I was like "WHAT? He was the DA2 Arishok?!?!" and dreamed of the possible cut scenes and dialogue I may have been missing from all my DAO and DA2 play throughs....

But alas, apparently he just becomes the new Arishok after the Kirkwall one dies. Heh.

I was almost tempted to play DAO again just to freaking unlock his friendship, but apparently it isn't worth it. Thank heavens.

I kind of miss bribing cementing my friendship with Morrigan with shiny things.  FWIW I usually ended up friends with most everyone.  Cept for that one time I had to kill Justice over the  whole Architect thing.  Oops.

Aaargh! I accidentally reset the video options to fullscreen instead of fullscreen windowed, which broke my screenshots again. Of course I noticed this after Conwenna had talked to all the companions in The Winter Palace, collected all the dog treats, caught all the harlequins, straightened all possible pictures and was ready to start the Exalted Council. All my screenshots of the chats with companions failed. I left Sera 'til last and saved before talking to her, so I could just re-do her bit to get shots of the marriage, but I don't want to lose all the other scenes. The problem is neither do I want to spend another hour catching bloody harlequins... Ah... I'll decide tomorrow.

There are 4 codex entries you need to find, 1 in each area (Ruins, Deep Roads, Library, Darvaarad).

The best way to gain points with Sten through dialogue is to keep telling him he makes no sense. Also, take him with you to Haven the first time you go there and he will challenge you. Defeat him in combat and tell him to get back in line. I don't usually keep him in my party, because his stats are awful (2H are generally awful in DAO) and even with the re-spec mod he only gets 1 specialization instead of 2 but, he comments a lot on stuff during travels and it is these things that lead to more dialogue options with him back at camp. More dialogue = more chance to increase friendship.

Just a suggestion but, keep your current save as is and just re-do the dialogues to get the screenshots. Then you won't have to redo harlequins (unless you wanted a shot of that as proof you caught them? :P).

Ugh, my last 3 runs of Trespasser were harlequins infinity, Inky 0. At least I got them all once for the schematic.

I just look for the ones standing in places that I can drop down on from above. It still takes time to get one to spawn in a suitable position, though...

Your plan is a sound one, though. I'll reload my pre-Trespasser save, go round all the companions and then load the pre-Sera save.
