They also did that to the Inquisitor in Trespasser. That cutscene before fighting/freeing the Atashi dragon, Inky is holding his/her stomach instead of cradling his/her left hand from the anchor's pain.
What Did You Do Today (in the DA 'verse) ? .... oops ;)

I'm sorry, I was wrong. I re-watched a video clip of that scene. It shows Inky hunched over, but she's not holding her stomach.

Quick side question (that probably belongs in the Combat/Strategy section): of those that play mages, how many of you tend to build with crit chance/crit damage in mind, or high attack %? What gear do you tend to craft for them? (if you are willing to divulge).
I ask since I have done both types of builds. Abel was an RM built for crit, and while he did fine, it was only normal difficulty without any trials toggled. However, I have a handful of playthroughs with trials on, and one of them is another mage (spec hasn't been chosen yet). I wonder if one build is a better fit for difficulty upgrade plus trials, over another? Of course, specializations may come into play.
I also went the Wrath of Lovias route with my KE. And once I had guard-on-hit and augmented barriers, I tested out the Berserk mastercraft - no problems. ![]()

Ah, okay xD
Cause the only scene I could remember where Inky is hurt, is after the Dragon

But worse than that, was that Briala eventually accepted her excuse after arguing over it a few times. In other words, agreeing that protecting a single person's reputation is more important than the lives of her people.
And then Weekes goes as far referring to Celene's argument as "truth" when describing a moment when Briala is thinking about the last conversation. Are you bloody high, man?

Maybe he hit her so hard it traveled to her appendix?
Maybe she landed on her hip when she hit the ground? For someone that skinny, that would likely hurt.
Cole if you make him more human <-- should hold his shoulder, not his stomach, if at all, cause it's not like he got physically hurt by Bianca not firing (except if they want to imply that he feels sick
)
Yes, I think this is what's it's supposed to signify. He is feeling his own hurt and that can sometimes make you feel sick.
Reading The Masked Empire has made me hate Celene even more, as if that were possible. Although it was expected, it pissed me off to see her try to justify burning down the alienage.

I understand people hating Celene in TME but I really don't understand why Briala gets a pass. Did Celene betray her? Absolutely. Did she, in turn, betray Celene? Absolutely. In doing so, she also betrayed Orlais. The best part is it wasn't because of what happened with her parents. It wasn't because of what happened in the alienage. It was because she was jealous of Celene jumping to Michel's defense but not to hers while they were fighting in the Crossroads.

The argument, as I understand it, is that Celene needs to protect her reputation in order to avert a civil war. Which is a bit different from protecting it for its own sake, as you seem to be implying. (Note that I'm not saying I agree with Celene's argument. All I'm saying is that she has one.)

Who needs workers to build a bridge when I can do it myself. Its great to be a mage
I faced a rage demon after opening the last door for fire
Is there a dentist that can fix my teeth?
Went into the cave with a lot of spiders. Went into cloak mode and saw that there are two Inquisitors

I should also note, that I won't be choosing Necro for this latest mage. It wouldn't fit her rp-wise, in the slightest. So it will either be RM, KE, or no spec.
Sorry if this is too much of a derail. Feel free to ignore, if it is.
For me, it depends on a few things. When good Crit/Dex materials are scarce, I give them to rogues first. If they are plentiful, my mage can have them too. This means the early to mid-game, I tend to prioritize Willpower and Attack% for my mage. Then I switch to crit.
Because of the Flashpoint passive in Inferno, it's important to give mages high critical chance if you can. Get it high enough, and you can basically spam abilities without cooldowns (other than the 10s for Flashpoint itself).
The drawback of maximizing crit chance for Flashpoint is that crit damage tends to suffer. So I compromise and stop boosting crit chance when I get it up to 60% or so, the rest goes into crit damage.

Yup (at least for the grip)!
I guess it just depends on the balance you're looking for, what rings you're wearing, etc... I used the Masterwork Battlemage Staff Grip (pure Crit Damage Cloth) & the Dragon Staff Blade (Crit Chance Leather).

You can describe the logic behind an argument without agreeing with it. In fact, it's generally a good thing if you can describe the logic behind any argument whether or not you agree with it.
As for whether or not I agree with this one, I'm not entirely sure. I acknowledge the concept of doing messed up things for the greater good. I'm pro-Templar after all. But Gaspard wanted the Civil War anyway, and he forced it even without the justification that Celene was soft on elves. You can argue that Celene shouldn't be expected to know the future, but also that Gaspard forcing a Civil War despite Celene giving into his manipulations isn't unpredictable. It really does seem like those elves died for nothing, and that Celene should have known they were even at the time.
But I am curious what you think Celene's intentions were. Why do you think she did what she did?

Off to the Deep Roads. My PS4 crashed for the first time ever during the waves of Sha-Brytol. I'm running NM with trials and there was a lot going on
. Oops. It was fine after a reboot.
If a picture paint a thousand words then this pic will tell you all you need to know about what happened during the final fight.

I feel like they reused the animation for every character that got hurt in a cutscene
The Chantry sister <-- should hold her head
Cole if you make him more human <-- should hold his shoulder, not his stomach, if at all, cause it's not like he got physically hurt by Bianca not firing (except if they want to imply that he feels sick
)
Morrigan if she drank from the Well and fought the Red Lyrium Dragon. <-- the only chara where it somehow makes sense to hold her stomach
Edit: nearly forgot
Counselor Roderick <-- he got stabbed, he's allowed to hold his stomach
Also, every time I see Morrigan hitting the ground I wonder how she lives since the blood rushes from her head wound at an astoundingly rapid rate. By the time the fight ends she should have bled out.

Not DA:I related but I wanted to replay the last act of DA2 with my s+s warrior who romanced Fenris. Forgot that I needed to absolutely scrounge for every last rivalry point to get to his "Questioning Beliefs" quest. Didn't make it and now I remember why I hated the friendship/rivalry system.

True.
Maybe she has Guardian Spirit?

Greed met Hawke and Loghain in the Western Approach
Where he met Livius Erimond, his mindless Zombies and their demons.
Ofc Greed's too cool to be scared of some mindcontrolled Wardens.
Hawke was not happy about the Warden's use of blood magic.
Next stop: Adamant

Mmyeahh.....This happens on the PC as well. I just had to replay the Sha-brytol wave, this last weekend, because it crashed right as I was ready to go bust a wall.

I really like reading about your discoveries on the PS4
Reminds me of when I upgraded my pc from a gtx 660 to a gtx 970 and I noticed all these new things, like freckles and trees moving and how much better the hair looked, and that people were leaving footprints in the snow.

I confess that in my first playthrough I was convinced that she was dead for that very reason. I was quite surprised to see her standing there looking only slightly the worse for wear after Corypheus was defeated. Also, every time I see Morrigan hitting the ground I wonder how she lives since the blood rushes from her head wound at an astoundingly rapid rate.
