Oh my.
So... after dealing with a spot of darkspawn trouble, Harold's gang took a break from the Western Approach and went back to Skyhold for a bit; to run some new war table missions, sell off some useless gear that was taking up wayyyy too much inventory space, maybe craft some new stuff. I was kinda bummed that Cassandra never had much to say the whole time we were in the Approach, given our newfound love for each other, but *shrug* maybe she was just enjoying listening to Blackwall and Vivienne bicker as much as I was, heh. Harold also had to sit in judgement of Servis (which I haven't done yet).
I decided to make a quick tour around and chat with all my companions. It had been awhile but since I haven't done any main plot stuff lately, I wasn't expecting much. Vivienne, Varric, Leilana, Solas and Blackwall had nothing new to offer, as I suspected. Josephine and I had a brief chat about how the mark on my hand wasn't a gift from the Maker after all, but maybe it was. Okay then.
Iron Bull and I had a beer in the tavern and talked about the Chargers and how he became a merc and got his own company and a bit about Krem.
Cullen and Dorian were having a game of chess. Dorian lost and left us to go sulk somewhere, maybe twirl his mustaches in a mirror and tell himself that he's still got it. Just kidding Dorian fans, really. I like him too! So... Cullen stopped looking smug long enough to suggest we get back to work, when I challenged him to a game. He seemed happy enough to comply. I think he was enjoying the break from duties more than he let on... and was feeling full of himself after trouncing the tevinter mage... so Harold thought about cheating, but in the end he played fair and still kicked Cullen's ass.
Afterwards, I went to tell Dorian that Cullen could be beaten after all, and Dorian told me that Felix had died from his sickness. Felt bad for Dorian but he kinda brushed it off, so I left it alone. Heading down to Undercroft I ran into Mother Giselle who said she had a letter from Dorian's father, or one of his agents, and was hoping I could convince Dorian to meet the guy at the tavern in Redcliffe, so at some point we're gonna have to do that. Dorian's a good guy, so I'll help him out.
Saving the best for last, I went to see the new love of my life. We hadn't really spoken since that night in the grove and her first words were, "the sight of you warms the heart." ... sigh. Harold suggested they spend some time together, and Cassandra answered, "you never even have to ask." sigh again.
I ... uh... I'll be in my bunk.
I mean, we're going back out to the Western Approach now
