Sure, but I'm still annoyed with the continuity. You can't have a DW use one set of awesome looking weapons throughout the majority of the fight and in that scene, see them with sh!tty ones.

I know....it's like Shepard always using the Avenger in ME cutscenes.

Emma's done everything in Act 2 up to the final mission. She, Aveline, and Anders are parked outside Qunari Central waiting for the Arishok to let them in. That won't happen until tomorrow.

Emma ratted out Gascard so Varric didn't get to shoot him. Dang it, I hate when my characters have minds of their own. I like the shooting scene, but I've only gotten it once since my Hawkes either kill Gascard up front, turn him in, or just follow the blood trail.

She had a nice chat with Aveline about those they've lost. :crying:

Petrice finally got what was coming to her (arrow to the face).

Emma agreed to let Isabela have the relic, and the latter took off with it for parts unknown. Once a pirate, always a pirate. Sigh.

I noticed if you're playing as a DW rogue Inquisitor, they're wielding different daggers than the ones originally shown.

Happens for Archers as well, which is even more muh immersion breaking. That's why I had Cole give Maya a dagger in my write-up of the final battle, because how else would she have a dagger on her? She's a trap maker, not an assassin!

EDIT: Oops, should have read further, everybody already talked about this.

If you take notice on all Inquisitor armours, there's a sheathed dagger on their utility belts at the back. In a way, that could be used as a last resort weapon.

I've noticed that. I always find it funny. I think in DA2 they did it too. I remember somewhere I threatened someone by pushing up against their throat, and it was with the tiny dagger from the hip rather than one of the two massive daggers on my back.

We got to the Circle Tower tonight. Templars have locked the place down. The rumors about the Circle crawling with monsters were true, if grossly over simplified. Gregor was less than pleased to see me again, but agreed to let us sweep the tower. We found everything from maleficars to the walking dead and every form of demon one can imagine. I was doubtful Irving was still alive right up to the moment we saw him.

Every room was just one nightmare after another, but there were survivors. They are beat up and most are traumatized, but Irving has agreed to come with us back to Redcliff to help with Conner's possession. Senior Enchanter Wynne has asked to travel with us and help us marshal forces against the Blight. Something is off about her though. Can't put my finger on exactly what it might be, but as things stand I can't really be picky about getting help for this war. I've already got a washed up Templar, a witch, a qunari that murdered an entire family, a spy, and an assassin. One more bit of crazy can't hurt... can it?

Got a lead on Sten's missing sword as well. Have to pursue that later though. Anyways, back to Redcliff. Maybe we can go a couple days without another disaster...Yeah, that's not going to happen. Why should our luck turn around now.

This made me think about the scene or two where you can spare a blood mage. The choice is entirely irrelevant past the point of making it, even in Origins, but what did you choose and why?

I spared the mages in the library. I assume that is what you are referring to. Every scrap of power we can muster for the final battle is needed. As Flemeth said in the wilds, "If you do not want help from us illegal mages, young man, perhaps I should have left you on that tower." The warden's responsibility is to defeat the blight. From a story telling point of view, given what the warden must face in uniting the lands and raising an army against the darkspawn, being picky about our associates is a luxury we cannot afford.

Besides, this warden is a blood mage. He doesn't see the school as being inherently evil. At least not anymore than any other. Nothing in the blood magic tree that you can't do with the school of entropy. You can drain the life out of people, paralyze them, warp the minds of your enemies to fight against their allies for a time. You don't have to open up any veins for these effects. In this wardens view, all blood magic does is allow you to use blood in the place of lyrium. It how and why the power is used that makes it good or evil.

I've only had Warden Alistair once before, so I didn't remember this at all during the final mission of Act 2:
Spoiler

It took me 2 tries to beat the Arishok in the duel. I was about halfway through Act 2 before I realized I probably should invest in some offensive spells from something other than the Force and Spirit trees. So, I went Entropy. I love Horror and Hex of Torment. :P Meredith wasn't too happy about how it all went down.
Spoiler

Argh, stupid non-romance. :pinched: On the other hand, maybe Emma will have a fling with Zevran later on. Or Tallis. (Actually, I haven't decided if I will play MotA this time around. I might do it just to give Aveline grief about being Orlesian.)
Spoiler

Varric certainly has his priorities in order.

Hi guys! I'm back.  I saw all the movies.  Well, X-Men Apocalypse and Alice Through the Looking Glass - I liked both.  Watched my mom play some Uncharted 4.  Beautiful game.  Helped her beat Dr. Nefarious in Ratchet & Clank. Her exact words in regard to that were "Andrea, doing those grind rails hurts my wrist - do these for me!"  LOL!  There might have also been margaritas.

Needless to say I didn't get any DA in.  :)

Watched my mom play some Uncharted 4.  Beautiful game.

Did she finish it? I normally avoid games like this because there is always a spot that has the most frustrating hand/eye coordination QTE thing that I simply can't do. I was pleasantly surprised that with only 2 chapters left, I hadn't run into anything I couldn't handle ... then I hit the impossible slide. It's in the next to last chapter. I died at least 30 times, no exaggeration. I just couldn't do it. I had to take a break and come back to it fresh, where it only took maybe another dozen tries before I got it.

Hopefully your mom won't have trouble with it, but if she does, I will feel her pain.

So I started up my 6th character, Kelebek, and played her to The Hinterlands. Nothing really of note except the fact I couldn't help but flirt with Cullen during the first one-on-one talk you get with him. He seemed receptive too? I thought he was only in to the humans and elves?

Anyway, I forgot how big Qunari were since the last time I played with one was Gaston and that was roughly a year now.

Can't wait till Sera arrives on the scene. Her reaction to Kelebek should be worth an entire playthrough on it's own.

Well, she has already won it once.  I'm not sure if there is a "casual" setting for the game.  She generally makes a first pass on "casual" or "easy".  Having said that, she dies a lot.  I happened to see her where she got into a firefight.  She was okay with the firefight bits, but man she is a terrible driver.  :)  She was on an island with a lot of muddy red clay soil?  And there was this armored tank vehicle that really wanted her dead.

Actually on the road she is quite safe but as Nathan Drake.... let's just say his insurance premiums are sky high..

Yes, it is looking that way. :( On the plus side, my Inqui won't have to worry about Fenris hunting her down in revenge.

Ha! I thought I had posted this in this thread, but I posted it in the how the heck do you walk to the front gate of Skyhold thread.

Apologies to everyone here who saw this there first:

That reminds me, I've been meaning to ask. Is this where Dagna sleeps in the Undercroft? I guess she misses the Stone being all around her, but why the prison grate on top? You might have to click on the images to get the full size versions to see what I'm talking about. Second image is spycam vis Flycam.

Would Fenris label it as revenge needed? Besides, I'm just flinching at how sad Varric is going to be. His sadness made me reload the first time I played.

I have a weird cutscene bug with Varric in my game. If I leave Hawke in the Fade, the bug happens during the "talk to Varric afterwards" scene. If I leave the Warden, then the bug happens during the "get a gift from Varric" scene in Trespasser.

The bug is, the cutscene slows to like 1 fps. My video card basically shuts itself off during the scene (temp falls and everything) and the scene t a k e s  f o r e v e r  t o  p l a y. And, yes, it is that annoying. :P BUT, if the bug happens during the main game, hitting the ESC key will get it to move along, whereas ESC is totally useless in Trespasser for some reason.

As for Fenris, I have no doubt he would down the quizzy who left his romance Hawke in the Fade and go all lyrium-fist-to-the-heart on her/him. Yeah, don't want that.

That's an interesting idea, but I doubt it. So much got unfinished with that castle. Even with all the upgrades, so many rooms are still trashed and unused. Besides, Dagna is sleeping with unromanced Sera. :P the sleep overs turned to pillow fights and then, luuurrrve
