Been working on Chapter 19 of The Grey Path today, and I got about 2000 words done, so I'm pretty happy about that. Going to be more of an action chapter this time around, with Sagramor and company fighting through the Circle. Should be fun regardless. Also going to see if I can power through the next chapter of Red Winter this week too; that's been languishing for far too long.
What Did You Do Today (in the DA 'verse) ? .... oops ;)

I head cannon that Justice goes to the FADE to find Hawke for Anders but... I really think Bioware kills whoever remains behind. :/ we'll probably never get resolution.
didn't get the Cullen bodyguard part! Not fair! Black suits are way better than red.
And how is she defenseless?! And say this with a straight face while drawing a bow?
Who said the uncle line at the judgement?
And our Hawkes are twins!
My first Hawke has green eyes, platinum hair, and dusky skin. But I made my next Hawke a blue eyed red head like yours.
Blackwall looks really good in black. ![]()
Yeah, the whole "defenseless" thing made no sense when she'd already gone stabbity and told all her clown cronies to "kill them all" before running away.
Then again, Florianne = not very smart. ![]()
"Uncle line"? I don't know what that is. Maybe that happens with a different judgment choice?
Today, I GOT THE GARDEN SCENE with Alistair and Morrigan.
Doing things in a weird order paid off. I also got a HoF letter with stuff in it I don't remember seeing before. Now I'm all finished with Crestwood and will probably be heading to the Western Approach next once inventory is all sorted (again). Andreia just hit level 15, which means she can now use the Grand Enchanter's Staff.

The picture of judgement of Florianne has text that says "Strangely enough, the same thing happened to uncle of such and such."
YAAAY Garden Chat.
I have noticed that not a single thing regarding the HOF is showing up in my playthrough. I used a Dalish male elf who romanced Zevran as my background. Maybe if I talk to Morrigan in the garden, it'll show up on the war table?

Last episode, Mara was striving to mend a friendship, scoffed at the Chantry, asked Josephine to get a special amulet for Cole, and Dorian, Sera, Iron Bull and Mara went on a dragon hunting exercise.
Part 1 of this episode, Mara declares success on the mending, Mara reflects on allies, Solas makes a request for aid
Part 2; Mara swiftly acts on the request to aid Solas's friend and also makes an important decision about Cole.

We got repeatedly beaten into a fine paste just before camp 2 in the Deep Roads DLC.
We are currently implementing a "Tactical Withdrawal" to the surface.
That totally happened with me too. Ended up crafting all new armor and some weapons before returning to paste them.

Oh, that. It was Inquisitor, using the nobility perk, I think.
Are you talking about the "Contact the HoF" mission? Yes, I think you only get that after talking with Morrigan. Unless Alistair is the Warden, and then you can ask him. But maybe he needs to romance the HoF in order for that option to be availalbe?

The journey of Warden Drako Amell thus far,
Spoiler
The tale continues,
We arrive at the Vigil to find protesters in the courtyard. The Arling has it's problems, but nothing to warrant this. Someone stirred up a hornets nest on purpose... Likely I have quite the silver tongue and was able to disperse the crowd with a minor concession After talking to some of the people I located the leader of this tiny insurrection I had the gate guards quietly detain him on the way out. I'll have the good Captain ask him a few questions. I suspect this is a shadow play by one of the local Banns who dislike a Mage being their Arl. Something to look into later. Tonight there is to be a Joining.
Velanna and Sigrun stand ready in the main hall. They are different. Most who I have seen go through the Joining are nervous about what must be done, but these to are without fear. Velanna is determined and Sigrun is excited... almost giddy. They both faint, but they are still alive. They will be a terror to the Darkspawn. For now, I've dismissed everyone for the evening. Garevel mets me on the way to my chambers and tells me what he learned from our trouble maker. He was not even a farmer. He's a toady for Bann Esmeralda. Figures...
...Morning comes and Velanna and Sigrun are already up and digging through the kitchens fighting over a half cooked nug. So I guess they'll be fine... I continue on to take my breakfast with Varel and Woolsey. We need to discuss the matter of Bann Esmeralda. The matter of the missing warden still vexes me. Kristoff is siad to be a capable man, but his continued absence is concerning. I hate to keep putting him off, but something always comes up. Today is no different. The lower reaches of the Keep have finally been cleared of rubble. The access point the Darkspawn used was found. The Keeps basements go all the way down to the deep roads. I gather Velanna, Sigrun, and Nathaniel and head down there. Nathaniel knows the keep best and Velanna and Sigrun have a lot of energy to burn off. I'm sure there will be something down there for them to set loose on. We have to find a choke point to seal off...
...There is more down there than I thought. We found a Dwarven Barrier door a little ways down. Luckily, we have our own Dwarven builder on hand. We held the area while he finished repairs to the doors mechanism. As long as the Darkspawn exist, they will be a constant threat, but this should hold them off for a while. I'm putting up some mystical ward traps as well. Any Darkspawn come near this door, a lightning storm will be set off through out the tunnel for several yards at least. My own personal touch...
...We get back top side to find Felsi storming the halls looking for Oghren... who was hiding behind a keg of Ale... Can't say I blame him. She is really not happy that's he's here. That or this is one of their weird insult flirt things they do. I just tried to stay out of the way. Didn't know Oghren was a father. Wouldn't have changed anything, but... I offered to move them into the Keep or one of the vacant cottages just outside. There is plenty Felsi could help with around here. They shot down the idea though. Seems domestic life is not something Oghren is built for. Felsi has asked me to make sure Oghren stays in touch regardless. The "little nug" should know his father. I'll chain him to a desk until he starts writing letters if I have to.
Loghain made an appearance this afternoon. Seems he's being sent to Orlais to recruit new Wardens. He's thoroughly miserable over the idea, but fitting I suppose. Anora's idea no doubt. Perhaps Alistair will cheer up with the idea of Loghain being forced to play nice with Orliasians. Made me smile anyway. Loghain will leave for Orlais in the morning. Meantime, I have asked him to give my new recruits a once over before he leaves... Never thought this is where things would end up with him, but here we are...
...Varel tells me he's heard tell of a "Dark Wolf" in Amaranthine that might be able to help uncover Esmeralda's conspirators for a price... Dark Wolf...That's a name I haven't heard is some time. And I know damn well it doesn't belong to this impostor but... as Arl and Commander of the Grey there are somethings I cannot do. Perhaps I can make use of this impersonator. I'll head to the city tomorrow. If I delegate this conspiracy to this wolf then I can focus on finding Kristoff...
...I get to Amaranthine with Sigrun, Andres, and Oghren in tow. I send them to investigate rumors of a smuggling ring operating in the city while I track down this dark wolf. He agreed to offer his assistance for an outlandish fee. We had a chat about some of the deeds he is claiming as his own. That dropped his price tag considerably. While he was oof tending to his leads, I caught up with my team and routed the smugglers praying on the city. Also did some snooping around about Kristoff. Went through his room at the Crown and Lion Inn. Seems he was headed for Black Marsh. There are rumors about the Marsh being haunted. No idea why he would be out there or why he hasn't returned. Can't be good. We'll head there as soon as my business with the dark wolf is done. Tonight will be spent going through Kristoff's things and figuring out exactly what he was up to. The Inn keeper will not be charging us for the stay or meals or the river of Ale Oghren will no doubt consume. He is hoping I will not share my knowledge of his involvement with the smugglers to the city guard.
Only other thing of note was a slight run-in Anders had with some Templars. Wasn't much of one. They refused to stand down, so we put them down. Seems the Maker was not on their side today. I'm an Arl after all. Not a saint. Another task for the Dark Wolf. Had him sneak the bodies to the smugglers ship. Wrap that up nice and neat for the city guard to find. So, shut down a smuggling ring. uncovered a conspiracy, and got a good lead on the whereabouts of a missing Warden. Not bad... Think we'll stay at the Inn tonight... Anders seems to have caught the eye of one of the locals. Strapping young fellow caught a glimpse of Ander's cat and they've been blocking everyone else in the bar out ever since... Good luck, Sparkles....
Small detail is small. But Anders is Blondie. Dorian is Sparkles.

Maybe it was Dorian who liked Anders little kitty. Slumming in Ferelden during one of his drinking adventures. ![]()

Nothing much happened today. Caron went to Crestwood, closed a rift, killed a dragon and met a warden. Just your normal day when employed by the Inquisition. He needs to get his schedule down, so many areas to clear, so little time.
Meanwhile, in another universe, Katashi kept Fenris from joining the Fratricide club, since having his entire team being guilty of murdering a family member by their own hands is a bit to morbid for a diplo-Hawke. 3/4 is slightly better. And besides, Fenris is the only rivaled member of the club, so it makes sense that he's angry Hawke didn't let him partake in the murder festivities.
Katashi also met up with his other friends and last living family member. Who disowned him, for the third time that week. Well, couldn't let that get him down and Katashi ended the day buying a fancy suit for that Orlesian party he was invited to later that week.

Uh, why?
I've been thinking about DAI companions today. I was thinking about how I may not recruit Vivienne next game because I never use her or see myself making a Character that would like her and get something out of that friendship. Her final personal quest is so weird. My first time playing, I was so grumpy at something she said that I intentionally didn't do her quest. Second time around, I did her quest; but it almost seemed like a weird tack on thing to try to grab some sympathy points to soften her character. You -can't- even get her angry during a discussion about Circles, which would make me like her more as I can respect someone passionate about something even if I disagree. But she's not even really passionate about it, it's "just the way it should be." Ya know? She's got good qualities as a person, just nothing I've found to love. Nonetheless, I want to redeem this character if I can.

Andreia and her team of Blackwall, Dorian, and Cole finally made it to the Western Approach. First, though, she had to go through all of the junk stuff collected at the ball, including a few Orlesian masks she wouldn't be caught dead wearing. Of course Vivienne thought they were grand.
Then she realized everyone should probably get an armor upgrade 'cause who knew how long they'd be out wandering the desert before meeting up with Hawke and Alistair? Satisfied with the results, she headed back out to the main hall only to be met by Josephine, who told her the Crestwood mayor had been found and was ready for judgment. Sigh. A horrid situation all around, that one. He did a terrible thing, and he probably did save the village.
Andreia decided the best she could do would be to let Denerim deal with him.
A quick stop in Val Royeaux was for nothing since no one had anything new for sale.
When exactly does the Short List perk do some good?
Ah, the desert! Rifts spewing demons were almost the easiest enemy they encountered. With hyenas, varghests, phoenixes*....Harding was right about the aggressive wildlife. Everything out here acts like it's starving. Venatori were here too, up to something sketchy, using Raiders to kidnap and then kill cavaraners as well as a research team. There's a keep in the area, currently in Venatori hands. Andreia is set to take it back from them as soon as she and her team are rested. Whatever's going on with Wardens, a base of operations for this far out in the wilderness is most likely going to be invaluable.
Edit:
*And how could I forget quillbacks? The bear-sized porcupines seem to be especially grumpy.

.ah. I just read on the Viv thread that her character development is hidden in Cole banter. This makes me want to give her one more shot next game. I missed Cole this game anyway.
