My gutsy dwarven warrior, only level 7, snuck into dragon territory in the Hinterlands and managed to collect just enough obsidian to complete the requisition for the dwarven puzzle boxes - I was so proud! I eagerly went to the requisitions officer for the next request, and it was... yet more dwarven puzzle boxes!

fffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffff  :pinched:

I've gotten into the habit of just doing one requisition mission per area because we get plenty of power and influence points from doing other side quests.

I've gotten the habit to buy tons of influence (and power, but I don't care about the power) from that vendor in Skyhold :P

About to go investigate the shards for the first time. Figured I'd collect as many as possible then go see what the fuss is about.

.
I asume you already know what you gain by collecting all shards. It can be usefull indeed.

I have a small advise for you then. Start with unlocking the 'Spirit' room (the green to your left) and get all three chambers open. When you've opened the last you can chose not to empty the coffin entirely but use it for farming essence and 'Superb Belt of Spirit Resistance (+30% Spirit Resistance). Leave at least 1 item in the coffin, leave the map and return to a full coffin. Repeat as often as you like.
I farmed four belts and carry them with me my inventory. It is extremely handy to eqip your team with one each when you meet high level bosses that deals a lot of spirit damage.

I imagine that Remanna spent her day honing her KE skills, stealing kisses with Cullen, sassing - and being sassed in return by - Dorian, annoying Sera with the mere fact she is elf-y, getting advice from Cassandra, admiring Blackwall's carving skills, and trying not to get waylaid into drinking with IB - again!  Basically all the stuff she does when the GREAT AND POWERFUL OZ (meaning myself) is not around to guide her actions.  Today, it's back to work - Adamant Fortress, kill a dragon...back to the Western Approach now that we have a bridge over sulphurous waters...? Definitely, more kissing Cullen lol

Thanks for the advice. I tried hitting like but I'm out of them for the day.

You could still abuse the fact that fire flask makes it a free skill, no focus used.

And get pincushion passive.

And Lightning flask first so you extend the time of the fire flask.

I did not know that. Hmm, next dragon I come across, I'll try it out.

I hadn't played DA:I in a few days and had forgotten what I was doing, so Martin Trevelyan ended up travelling back in time to deal once more with the Templars and their problems. In an alternate universe he might have conscripted them, but this time around he decided to make an alliance -- because, honestly, they've got no leadership and no future, so if he's going to be in charge either way, why not make use of the Templar brand? Politically, it was the smart option. Vivienne approved.

Also, he made a creepy new friend and got to flirt with Cassandra and Josephine. So all in all, it was a good day. I think he might be falling for Josie, actually.

Damnit, Martin, you were supposed to romance Cass!

That's how I take down 3 dragons in Emprise in 20 minutes :P

Sera is my dragon slayer. Though I might just try Varric next time, he can be abused pretty good too I heard :P. Meh, seems I have to do at least 3 more playthroughs: warrior, Qunari mage and ranger Artificer.

I blew through 5 hours without realizing where the time went. (As I'm sure many of you have done.) I have most of the Hinterlands quests completed for now. Saw this comic and laughed so much. Wanted to share.

Tried to start a new game and got as far as Haven before plugging in Mass Effect 2 instead.

I want to start over without having to start over.

I changed my Keep Worldstate - I used my lone play through with a male Cousland who romanced Morrigan. I never did anything past the main game with him, so I fudged everything afterward. Bhelan rules Orzamar. Anora rules Ferelden, Loghain survived, and the Warden went through the Eluvian with Morrigan. And I left my DA2 world the same.

Cersei Lannister Treveylan was a mage attending the conclave. She had a thing for her brother, Jaime... oh... sorry, that's not in the game. The conclave was destroyed by a large explosion and the figure of someone resembling the Divine Justinia, whom everyone thinks was Andraste, saved her from a bunch of spiders.

Cersei didn't like the tone that Cassandra was taking with her, but she didn't have much of a choice other than to cooperate. One thing about her, is that she knows how to say the right things at the right time, even though she believe this whole thing is a pile of crap. If they want to treat her like the chosen one, so be it. Then she closed the breach over Haven.

Well, I just learned something important about fighting giants on Nightmare while I was in the Emerald Graves. When they throw big-ass rocks at you...it...hurts...a...LOT!

Yes they do. Their aim with those rocks is excellent.

Does aim really matter when they are 'big-ass rocks?'  :)

As soon as I see a giant picking up a rock, I start running. It never seems to matter.

Even with fade step it doesn't help. And if you happen to avoid the rock, the giant follows up  with its flying stomp move.

Indeed. Makes it particularly satisfying to beat it on the shins until it falls down.

lol - I see that I'm not the only one. Yeah, those giants have such great aim that I think they should form the first all-giant baseball team in Thedas.

The first four-stride home run in history. Outfielders are still looking for the ball.

They should have put uniforms on them. Either New York, or San Francisco.
