The story of Nico Cadash is now complete! Well, until DLC arrives, hopefully the kind where she can track down Solas, get answers and kick him in the shins. Though since she drank from the Well, he could probably click his fingers and make her kick herself in the shins. That'd be embarassing.

She and Morrigan seemed to be on slightly better terms after they discovered the identity of Mythal. Probably due to the fact that Morrigan obviously cares about her son. She was even willing to forfeit a creepy archdemon soul just to keep him safe. Maybe she isn't such a wicked apostate after all. Cadash wasn't thrilled that this Well thing is coming back to bite her in the arse already. At least she got a dragon out of it. I kept seeing gifs of the party encountering a dragon, and this is where it was from! I had no idea. I love surprises! On the gif-set, it was Solas staring at the dragon, while Dorian sort of pulled Cole away from it. With my party, Varric was the one staring while Iron Bull pulled Vivienne away. That would have been so much funnier with Viv and Bull's positions swapped.

Bull: I want to fight the dragon!

Vivienne: We're here to tame the dragon, darling, not to kill it.

Bull: Buuuut maaa'aaaam...

Vivienne: Silence.

Bull: Yes, ma'am.

Ah well. The fight with Corypheus was pretty blah, but the after party was marvellous. I love chatting to everyone afterwards, very reminiscent of DAO. I learned that Madame Vivienne is now the big hat for the Chantry, which Cadash is very pleased about. Sadly, Cassandra is leaving to rebuild the Seekers, and Varric to help Kirkwall, but hopefully they'll stick around for a while. Spirit-Cole made a joke, which makes me feel very relieved. After he went all Mr Roboto in their last conversation, I was worried he'd be all Tranquil-like and emotionless now. Seems all is well though. She finished off the evening by retiring to her quarters and finding a stool to stand on, so that she and Bull could have a final romantic moment. That was both cute, and hilarious.

I didn't bother collecting Shards (just enough to unlock the Oasis) or any other collectibles, so it cut-down my play time, but upped the enjoyment factor! Think I might stick to that method for now.

Back in Skyhold after the ball. Saw that i had to sit in judgement of someone....something... someone's remains...  lectures on the evils of evil and an end table for orphans.    Okay this is almost as good as the goat, and makes fighting Florianne totally worth it.

I spent my latest playthrough looking forward to the moment when I could sentence her remains to community service. That scene is just golden. Poor Josie, she wasn't impressed at all.

I've been seeing a lot of positive stuff being written about the Cullen romance, so eventually I'll get around to him, heh. Making a female dwarf inquisitor for my next game makes the decision of who to romance a little easier, just by elimination.

I did the Cullen romance the last time. It was excellent and very tastefully done. Perfect for Daenerys.

Not so perfect for Cersei Lannister. She wants Jaime Lannister. Sorry, I couldn't resist. You might be a redneck if your family tree does not fork. Ah but we know that all royal families were full of incest.

Congrats :) ... I'm kinda curious how my game will turn out. I seem to be mixing up my world states, because apparently Morrigan doesn't have a son this time around.  When she showed Harold the eluvian, she talked about spending time at the crossroads with the man she loved. I wonder who she was talking about, since Leliana romanced the HoF in this world state. Also plan to have Harold drink from the Well... *sigh* but I'm a long way from those decisions. Exalted Plains, Emerald Graves, Emprise de Lion, Hissing Wastes... yeesh. Half a game.

^^Agree 100%

I love this scene and it is my favourite out of all the series so far. ^_^

Yeah it was great, but nothing beats the goat, or the little dance the Avvar chieftain does when he's exiled.

Ding dong Corypheshyt is dead..

Killing him took a whole 3 seconds....his dragon? About 2 minutes or so

Morrigan turned into a dragon and pulled some SICK dogfighting free dive....respect.

Her voice makes her the perfect MILF....sorry Josie you know you want her as well...it's ok we can share her

(playing on NM)

Kuruk Adaar and his companions took on the infamous rift by the river in the Hinterlands and were victorious, thanks in no small part to their wonderful comrade Druffalo. Learning how to dispel fade monsters before they spawned also gave Kuruk and his allies the necessary opening to exploit the now-weakened and diminished forces. And Druffalo, the ever faithful beast, with his insta-kill headbutts.

^^I have just done this judgement today and now I wish I chose the exile option just to see this. ^_^

My inquisitor was still in the underground passage and I unleashed his true power on some unsuspecting demons. I went outside and a blizzard came out of nowhere. My inquisitor's explorer brain was still switched on so he began to explore the snowy environment (in the blizzard). The inquisitor knew there was a risk of hypothermia but the gamble is worth it if there is a treasure chest.

There was nothing <_<. It just so happened that I found survivors of the haven attack (and there wasn't that many on this playthrough). Mother Giselle decided that a campfire song would improve morale. The song must've inspired Solas because he suddenly knows of a brand new location that is perfect to use.

I then spoke to all my companions and they had a lot to say. Also recruited Dagna and this is a worldstate where the warden didn't encourage her to go the circle. Dagna said something like "I will show everyone" at one point in a very unsettling way.

Went to the Fallow Mire with Blackwall, Vivienne and Dorian. The avvar fight at the end was a struggle. It mainly consisted of Vivienne/Dorian doing ranged attacks. When the two mages had fallen, the inquisitor used stealth to get to the stairs so that the party would regenerate. I eventually won. Then I completed all the side missions in the marsh except for a crazy mage (probably come back at a later date to do this). I went back to Skyhold and judged the goat thrower by selecting 'cultural exchange' with Abernache.

I also went to the Shrine Of Dumat and I stealthed by all the demons to get the memory shards (again this looks cowardly but ). I also sneaked by the pride demon to peek behind the final door.

I finished the day by going to the Hinterlands to try and defeat a dragon on nightmare at lv 11 which was a mistake :pinched:.

I'm doing post game play. I'm using Viviienne since Solas went away. I'm at the Hissing Wastes and her and Varric have dialogue with Vivienne asking him about Anders. Right now most of the dialogue is Cassandra and Vivienne talking about stuff. I believe in my next playthrough I will have Vivienne and Varric together to hear what more is said about Anders if there is anymore about him

Today Kaan-Arie Adaar went off to Crestwood with Cassandra (whom he is still desperately trying to get into a romance with), Vivienne and Sera. After a quick whizz around the miserable little village, they went and cleared out the fort at Caer Bronach. He was really quite keen to head over to the tower with the dam controls but he also didn't want to keep Garrett Hawke waiting in the rain and at the mercy of all those red templars so it was off to find the lone Warden's hideout. Who would have thought that Hawke, Varric and Stroud all became such good pals since the end of DA2? Perhaps it was Stroud that was responsible for Hawke's sense-of-humour operation - he seems to have had it removed!

Then it was back to Skyhold for a wash and brush up before heading over to the dummies to have another go at Cassandra. Sadly for Kaan-Arie, she is still playing coy and only asked for his help in finding the rest of the Seekers. If she's not careful, he might switch allegiance to Josephine - at least she agreed to dance with him at the Winter Palace! On the plus side, Cullen was grateful for his help with the whole lyrium thing and he's getting on famously with Vivienne. Then the Bull popped up with the whole 'Qunari allegiance' thing but, much as he likes Bull, he wasn't having any of it. His parents told him too many stories for him ever to trust them! So, its off to find the Seekers next - hopefully Cassandra will be pleased!

I believe I'm done with my post game playing of Harley Trevelyan.

Folks may know this already, but I would, as a suggestion, go to  Hissing Wastes first after getting to Skyhold. It has a merchant that sells tier 3 armor schematics. Make sure to have a lot of coin. Do the Tomb of Fairel quest. A tier 3 bow schematic, tier 3 greatsword schematic and a tier 3 one handed axe can be found in the tombs along with several other useful stuff to use or sell for a lot of coin.

When I did this, I ran into some enemies, but not too many. The only enemies I went out of my way too fight were Wyvern and Lurkers for their scales. Tier 3 material. Another suggestion when heading too the last tomb is to make a save before walking past the dragon. On my last playthrough I did that and for some reason Iron Bull wanted to play chicken with the dragon. Of course he got roasted. I did not want to fight the dragon. I reloaded and fortunately Iron Bull stuck with the program that no dragon fighting was on the agenda at that time. We were playing the role of looters.

When I start a new character, I'm going to try to make more recordings... I have this sudden urge to make a new video dedicated to the women of Dragon Age using this song.

And I'm 90% sure I'll be making another Lavellan.  It seems all I play are elven lasses XD

Julia has been busy. She and crew cleared out the Red Templars from Emprise du Lion, rescued a bunch of locals forced into mining, took over Suledin Keep from a demon (yes, Imshael, you are...well, were...a demon), and killed 2 of the 3 dragons in the area. The Ravager will have to wait until later. Before going to Emprise, they made a couple of other stops. There was one apostate left to find on Cassandra's list, and more shards in the Plains to gather. They also took care of the Mystral and Stormrider dragons, so the count is now up to 7 of 10 eliminated. Went with Leliana to find what Justinia had left for her, and managed to convince her to not kill Natalie this time. When we got back, Morrigan asked if the HoF had been at Adamant. Since he wasn't, she thought it might be a good idea to at least try to contact him.

Julia's day ended with a friendly but cutthroat game of Wicked Grace with several of her advisors and companions. Josephine won the night (note: don't let her deal next time <_<) and Cullen, much to Julia's amusement, left without a stitch on. Maybe she can talk him into a private game later....

Next up: Hissing Wastes and the Forbidden Oasis. Maybe a side trip to Dirthamen's temple first.

Well, I looked up some things about the choice of the new Divine, and it appears that I've been pushing Cassandra into the role the entire game  :o ... poor Harold. While I'm still gonna hold on to the slim hope that Leliana will take the job, this revelation has been a bit... depressing. And because of that, Harold's journey to stop Corypheus has kinda hit a wall.

After returning from the Winter Palace, Harold's gone on a tour of Skyhold and talked with all his friends. Although Cassandra seemed to be saying all the right things, like, "well they've only just mentioned my name..." and, "Mother Giselle's being a pain in the ass about it..." she also said things like, "Well Leliana wants to tear the whole thing down and start anew, and I dunno if that's necessary..." and, "She and I saw two different sides of Divine Justinia..." ... bleh. I think she's gonna leave Harold when it comes down to it.

Vivienne wants the heart of a Snowy Wyvern for some alchemical formula, so the gang -- that's Harold, Cass, Blackwall, and Viv -- has gone back to the Exalted Plains to get her one. Along the way, they acquired some fade-touched gurgut webbing that would make Harold move really fast in stealth mode. Could be useful. Something to consider when it comes time to craft new armor.

Then they went on down to the southern part of the map to close the last few rifts, and pick up the last few shards, and are now about to meet with the dalish clan that's been camped out down by the river.

And that's where I am. Harold's depressed, and Vivienne isn't helping matters any. She's switched targets from Blackwall to Cassandra now, but instead of insulting her, she appears to be trying to convince the love of Harold's life to take a greater interest in politics et cetera, as though grooming her for an important future role in society. Crap. Maybe I should swap her out for Solas. He won't care who the next Divine is, right?

Of course, behavior like that makes Harold seem kinda clingy doesn't it? Ha! It's a tough life, being an Inquisitor. Maybe they should just get out of the Plains and go help Varric's friend... you know, the one named after his crossbow. Or is that the other way around? :P

Either that, or play a bit of the start of my next game, with Dophni Cadash.

So I stuck with Harold for awhile. Turns out if you don't desecrate the tomb that the elves don't want you to desecrate, you can gain enough approval so that you don't have to go all the way to the Emerald Graves and get three great bear hides, and then bring them all the way back to the dalish camp. In other words, if you've done all your other dalish approval quests, then you never have to see them again :D

Still... there is that one mosaic tile in the tomb. :pinched:

Blackwall is back in my good books. As the gang wandered the Exalted Plains looking for glyphs and buried treasure, he started to tease Cassandra about being in love with Harold. Blackwall is awesome. Blackwall is the man. Though she denied everything, there was no weight behind those denials. Nobody in a bazillion years would believe she wasn't in love with Harold. Blackwall is my bro.

Having wrapped things up with the dalish, Harold and the gang decided to help everyone's favorite writer of trashy romances out with his little problem, so they are now relaxing (for the moment) in the nearest camp to Valammar in the Hinterlands. This shouldn't take too long.

Quote of the day: "Well, I cannot say I'm pleased, Inquisitor. Thanks to you I now have a soldier whose sole job is to shake the Duchess's head at social ne'er-do-wells." -- Cullen.

Ha, I guess it's a mystery playthrough then! So long as you can remember which Hawke you've got for it, or that could go very strange indeed. I tend to be a little um... over-organised, so I've got a spreadsheet to keep it all in check. That said, I do get some surprises. Like three Loghains in a row, how did that happen? Could've sworn the last one was supposed to be Stroud. Probably some last minute Keep-tweaking to blame there!

Josephine probably feels like she's babysitting a child at that moment! "Harold, you're being a very naughty boy!"

So long as she doesn't take away the tiny cakes at the after-party.  :o

Today my 'someday I will fall in love with Cullen because the Makerette wants that'-Mage ran all over the Hinterlands for no real reason. Normally I'm quite fast with leaving the area behind for a while, but this time I'm so much into killing rogue mages and templars and spilling their inlets all over the place. Who needs love when you can have that?

Also I found out, that this wannabe-Warden knows more than I thought. Running amok in the Hinterlands, still in Haven, way before siding with anyone, I encountered some Red Templars (which already made me wonder)

Fresh recruited Blackwall: I wonder why Corypheus sent them here.

Trevelyan mage (unvoiced): WHO?

I went today with my F Elf Templar to the hissing wastes, bought a new armor scematic. Upgraded Black Walls armor (I didn't notice Dorian had better armor than Black Wall until my boyfriend pointed it out  ) finishing up all the quests pretty much. I am pretty much through the game. Unfortunatly the Emerald Graves don't have any new quests for me to offer anymore. Definetly one of my favorite areas in the whole game.

I am contemplating starting anew.

Three Loghains in a row. I can't even get one when I want one  :lol:I think I need some of that organization  ... I do keep some notes here on my desk, but organized isn't a word I'd use for them. Disconnected scribbles (not Josephine :P ) about war table missions, things people say in game that I'm not quite quick enough to copy down before I forget them, so I scratch them out... things like that. World states? Fuggedaboutit.
