The Diary of Zebah TrevelyanDay 1:
Huh...what? No...I regained consciousness in a dungeon, with no recollection of how I got there, why I was there and with some kind of magical mark on my hand. Soon two women entered my cell and started interrogating me. Apparantly the Conclave had failed because of a massive explosion, killing all attendants, except for me. All those people, dead! Including Most Holy, the Divine Justinia! This is awful.
After I, and the most vocal of my interogaters, Cassandra (the other person was Leliana), had calmed a little I was taken outside and paraded somewhat before the angry people of Haven. We stopped:
We pressed on to our destination, the forward camp, while Cassandra gave me more details of what had occured. It was obvious that no one was really sure what was going on, but Demons and the like pouring out of the sky can never be a good thing. Maker, guide us.
Cassandra, a Templar, and I took care of the demons with relative ease, so we moved on until we reached a Dwarf and an Elf. There, the purpose of my mark was revealed: it can close the rifts from which Demons pour into the sky.
So now we were with four: Cassandra, a seemingly devout Andrastian and strong warrior, such as myself. Solas, an apostate (!) who somehow has managed to gain the trust of a Templar and Varric, a Dwarf... a very talkative Dwarf armed with a crossbow named Bianca. The situation is dire and I can use every help I can get, but this is quite the bunch! Glad there's at least 1 sane human with us.
Finally, we reach the forward camp:
So we took the mountain path. After climbing it and finally getting up a few ladders, we came across more and more demons and slew them all. Varric spotted some soldiers that went missing when an earlier group took this path, but that couldn't be all of them acoording to Cassandra. We found them fighting near a rift, which I closed after it was done spewing Demons.
Our way to what was once the Temple of Sacred Ashes, the most Holy place in Thedas, was now clear. It was... ironically I must say, no matter how painful it is, with ashes and utterly destroyed. Our goal was within the Temple, so we entered.
... and then I passed out.
