So I finished the Qunari mage run about five days ago. The only ballin' thing about being bound to Flemythal (a pet dragon) is taken away from you. Yeah, that decision really sucks if you pick that choice. I can't think of anything worthwhile about that.

 

In truth I kind of dreaded having to go on after the eluvian scene. Boss fights are tedious to me and the ending itself was not particularly awe-inspiring. Nice victory music, I suppose, but that's about it. Even the banquet is kind of ho-hum. Also, the epilogue was glitched to all hell, showing Morrigan leaving alone when she did have Kieran and the Inquisition being secrets-oriented despite my Inquisitor being predominantly Forces-oriented in both Perks and war-table missions.

 

Then I tried to create another human Inquisitor but, as usual, found the face too plastic and gooey for my liking and ended up deleting him. This must be the 11th time now. 'Til I can create a human male with a face I am happy with, I am not likely to play more of this game.

Well I can confirm that, post-patch, the mosaic tile is still missing. Depressed now for sure. Am considering uninstalling the game and not touching it again until this is fixed. 

 

HA! I f***ing love this game. I may never stop playing.

 

I'll just pretend that Gatsi dropped it while hanging it on the wall and it shattered into a thousand pieces. Cullen wants to use Gatsi to test out the range of Skyhold's new trebuchet, but he doesn't have the weight to get an accurate reading. At the next war council meeting, Harold will suggest stuffing Gatsi's pockets with the broken mosaic pieces and see if that works.

In my current playthrough, I've been leaving one item in all the chests in Haven. Each time I check them, there is something different. I've gotten some nice tier 2 schematics, but no tier 3 schematics yet.

I haven't tried to do that yet. Well... 'tried' maybe isn't the right word. Everytime I think of doing that, I just keep clicking on "take all" by force of habit.

All the games I've played have hardwired it into my brain: Loot everything. Sell what you don't need. Get money. Buy what you need.

Yes, it is under Key Bindings

 

Walk Toggle= Blank....click in blank and assign a key. I chose Z and it toggles walk/run ok.

Just do the Valammar vault for tier 3s

 And I patched, as Origins kindly told me that I would not be able to play, if I didn't update.

Checked with my bf's game too. He also has the option.

Restarted everything. Several times. And checked, if I still had the Farris glitch. This one was gone. So I got partially patched, I guess.

Maybe you have to repair the game through origins. I had to do that after a CTD, and Origins re-downloaded half the game on me.

I know how you feel. I'm always worried it will just makes things worse, heh. But I will say that, for what it's worth, the game has worked perfectly since that repair. No problems at all.

Okay, so there was a lot going on in the Western Approach that day, what with the grey wardens and the dragon to kill, and all. Harold couldn't remember if he got all the pieces of the Archdemon mosaic or not, so he pulled out his trusty notebook and checked...

Your last mosaic piece is as invisible as the ring Vivienne gave to Julia.   Are you sure that one on the wall is the archdemon one? Only 3 show up as far as I can tell, even though you have 5 sets going at once. Where do they put the other 2?

It's kinda hard to tell from the screenie, but if you look close at it in-game, you can see a dragon; it's head is the second tile from the right, top row. Also, it's the only set I've got that many tiles for. 

 

In that screenie I posted, on the wall to Harold's left there's another set with about 7 pieces on the wall. It's either "the Fall" or "Freed are Slaves" 

 

Dunno about the other 2 incomplete sets I'm still acquiring.

Made a quick return trip to the Storm Coast to pick up all the shards I'd ignored while there the first time (Note to self: Don't do this again! Having to trek aaallllll the way back to the end of the spider cave for the last ocularum is a pain-in-the-you-know-what. ). Once they were all collected, I took Cass on a dragon hunt in honor of her brother. Visnomer is no mer....er, no more. That makes 10 out of 10 this game, all before the finale instead of some after like before.

 

Headed back to Skyhold and selected the Short List perk, but I'm not sure it actually has improved inventory anywhere? I checked out the shops again at Val Royeaux and they didn't have anything even close to what we're currently using (crafted of course, so that might be why). I also bought the "mystery box" just for fun....now that loser of a store (item?) owner has no more purpose in life.

 

Finally made it to the Forbidden Oasis to see what the heck is up with all these shards. At level 23 (now 24) we are rolling through low level rifts and Venatori. Oh look, an old elven temple full of undead....where have I seen that before?  I opened all but the last fire door....need to collect the remaining shards in the Oasis first. Before I can do that though, I had to make a quick detour to Griffin Wing Keep to unload all the low level gear I can't help but collect as I go.

 

Poor Cullen has to sleep alone tonight back at Skyhold.  Dorian and IB, on the other hand.....well, let's just say I hope their room at the keep is far away from mine. Too much info, Bull! Too much info!!
