Thanks to all for the info on the Divine selection. I'll check it out when I have a particular result in mind ahead of time. Now if I can just get these stupid Mythal tiles to stop resetting......my cutie pie (Cullen) is out there fighting so I'm in a hurry!

Today I came across... this.

I've seen people complain about her rearranging Skyhold's furniture, but I had no idea she openly mocks you during the whole conversation.

Anyhow, considering how Bioware always gives her the last word, the only way to win against Vivienne is not to recruit her at all. And her bitter, disappointed face when you turn her down is priceless.

Throw her off the balcony? Rearranging furniture could be made a hanging offence. You are the Inquisitor after all, dahling.

While trying to take over Suledin Keep, Cassandra probed into Varric's private life about Bianca. He quickly shut her down, because he didn't know that they were that good of friends to talk about each other personal lives. Varric told Cadash that if Cassandra were to mention anything about him, he would let him know as soon as possible. Cassandra asked Varric to forget that she ever mentioned anything.

Iron Bull setting up Cole with Candy (Skyhold's consort) with interesting results. They would be wouldn't they? Considering it's Cole.

Back from Arbor Wilds, getting everything ready for the big finale. Chased after Kieran into the Fade and met Flemythal. My next world state import will be one where I didn't do the DR so I can see how that encounter differs. Ran around talking to everyone, saving Cullen for last, then had to redo the chapel scene since I didn't like what Julia said the first time (paraphrase is not so accurate and in one of the convos I didn't like any of the options much). They did have a nice hug though.  I could have finished up tonight but there were a couple of war table ops I wanted to complete first so Coryphish gets to live one more day.

Then the question becomes, who will be the next Inquisitor? I'm leaning toward dwarf warrior for Blackwall romance. Plus she will be following in the footsteps of my dwarf commoner HoF who managed to romance both Alistair and Zevran. Then Al died killing Archie so she ran off with Zev. I actually never finished her story so I will need to do some work in the Keep to set what happened (will happen?) in Awakening. She will be one of my two Wardens who spared the Architect (anything for her sister).

For those who still haven't found it.....the missing region in the Plains is "Dalish Camp." I fast-traveled there and the quest popped up complete. :D

Dwarf inquisitor + Blackwall romance is my plan for my next game too. I've even got her created already.

Not exactly Sha'ira. Candy is a tavern bleep Bull acquires her services for Cole (since our Pinocchio is becoming a real boy) And then there is Cole's response to what happens. Unfortunately this is banter and not cutscenes. :P

Ah okay, gotcha. Thanks for clarifying. Thought I was missing something important... j/k :P Cole didn't like me very much in my first game, and I never took him anywhere so I missed all that. Looking forward to changing that next game.

Cassandra probably wouldn't be too happy about it anyway. Can just hear Harold now: "You know what the Inquisition really needs?" ... or maybe Bull already suggested it, and that's why she was beating him with a stick.

Maybe they take care of that matter 'under the table' (as germans say).
But those two banters were really funny. Just love Cole. "Can I lift my feet?" :D

Well, this was a bit like seeing the Lady of the Lake while I was in Emprise du Lion:

Unfortunately, when I grabbed the sword, I'm afraid that it wasn't actually Excalibur - lousy pirate cutlass (not that pirates aren't cool...but...):

So, while in Emprise Du Lion, specifically in the Cradle of Sulevin dungeon, I found this in a loot chest somewhere:

0Zayni0.jpg

I think the two cutlasses ought to be switched because your location -- and circumstances of finding the blade -- are much cooler than mine, but there it is if you want a neat looking pirate cutlass. It's a pretty good sword too. i put a different grip on it, as you can see, but even so.

EDIT: forgot to add... everyone in the group has taken to calling Blackwall, Blackbeard... you know, just because  B)

Yeah, that annoyed me to no end.  For example, would a Dalish stand there and silently listen to her openly mock their culture without so much as a rebuttal?  Nope.  But she of course gets the last word in about the Dalish (a few times, in fact).  Whether or not she's "right" is irrelevant, I just very much doubt my Dalish (or any Dalish) wouldn't attempt to defend their culture when she goes on about them.

Let's just hope that Harold remembers that, in love with him she may be but, she is also a formidable warrior. Not a murder knife perhaps, but a 'cause Harold some considerable pain' knife. :P

I haven't ever been able to romance a female character with a male pc (or female pc) but I'm warming up to Cass. Maybe I'll make it happen ;)

The diary of Zebah Trevelyan
Entry 3: A busy, busy day
Spoiler

After meeting Harding, a cute Dwarven scout, we set to reach Mother Giselle. We got down the mountain and headed towards the Crosssroads. There we had to fight both Templars and mages, but eventually claimed it for the Inquisition.
Spoiler

Mother Giselle said I should go to Val Royeux to talk with the Chantry. I agreed, but since I was in the Hinterlands, I was going to help out there first, so I went to see commander Vale to see what's up.

First, we took care of the Eastroad Bandits or something, and claimed a camp for the Inquisition... which ended up to be close a Dragon. Yikes! But not before qwe found some ancient Elven artifact some Dalish Elf was looking for. Solas told her off and we get whatever she found. Nice. Then we took a second camp near a lake and decided to head for Master Dennet. Of course, he needed our help. We took down the Wolf Lair and claimed spots for guardtowers. On the way back to the Crossroads, we took out the Templar encampment and I got my hands on the weirdest sword. Now, having reached influence level 2 (whatever that means, it seemed to make Cullen happy at least), we returned to Haven.
Spoiler

After this baffling display from the Lord Seeker, we looked around Val Royeux. First, we recruited Belle for the Inquisition, then we spoke to a courier sent by Lady Vivienne and picked up three red packages for the friends of Red Jenny.. or something. Then we decided it was best to go back to Haven, when suddenly
Spoiler

Back in Haven the advisors and I decided to build up the Inquisition more before seeking out the Templars, or mages. Probably the mages. Then Leliana told me about a Warden she wanted to recruit, and I was approached by some guy named Krem, of Bull's Chargers. I figured it was time to build up my own squad as well. First stop: Lady Vivienne.
Spoiler

I think this is going to be my go to squad: Lady Vivienne, whoms values I share completely it seems, and Varric and Sera to keep both us stuckup Nobles in check.

Two more people (groups?) to pick up: Iron Bull and his Chargers, and the Grey Warden Blackwall.
Spoiler

While we were there, we made sure to get the Blades of Hessarian into the Inquisition ranks.
Spoiler

And we went to recruit Master Dennet, who didn't like Lady Vivienne's suggestion to get an Orlesian horsemaster at all. Heh.

Time to build up the Inquisition.

Cassandra is a great character, even in a non-romance relationship I think she's fantastic. But in a romance there a few little moments, a few little exchanges... and, you know, I'm sure there are similar moments in all the romances and I look forward to seeing what they all are, but the Cassandra romance is totally worth it.
