Today it's time to build up the Inquisition's influence and power. To do that, we first sought out the mages in Redcliffe.

With that out of the way we recruited every agent in the Hinterlands and cleared most of the lingering issues. We reached influence level 4, so it's time to seek out the Templars.

Gonna abuse the *bleep* out of Valammar after the Templars though, so that should be no problem

Which quest gives the most experience points. Siding with templars or siding with  mages?

I'm just about to do some farming in Valammar myself (for the first time).  Come on Dalish armor schematics....

I've been doing some farming in Valammar. In the area you get to after using the gears to open the door is a jug in the back left corner  had bianca arms and a amulet of power for Varric. I took the amulet for Varric and each time that I've been back the amulet is replenished. Too bad it didn't have the amulet for my Inquisitor

Oh? That's interesting, I don't think I've ever heard that particular banter. I always wondered what happens if you don't do his quest but he stays on, though. But yes, a single "greatly disapproves" can mess up your chances of getting a couple of the Inner Circle quests late in the game, I think. Picky, picky group, aren't they?

Did you miss Measuring the Veil with him this PT, by chance? I wouldn't think it has anything to do with this one, but who knows.

Yeah Blackwall asked Cassandra if it was true that Leliana knew everything about everybody, and Cass basically said that if she didn't yet, she would. It's not word for word of course but I heard it while we were on our way to face down Imshael.

Hmm, well, I still have to do the Hissing Wastes, and there are still two more dragons in Emprise to slay, and one more rift to close, and seven more shards to collect. So still time for both the quests to trigger, I suppose.

I might've got lucky with that in my current playthrough. My other playthrough might have something totatlly different in the jug

Just as well, I probably won't use Varric too much once I get Cole in the group, heh.

Not sure about Solas, good luck getting the quests to trigger, though! If nothing else, after that talk with Cass, Blackwall's gonna be sweating nervously while you're jumping around for shards and getting eaten by dragons. Yay?

My new Inqusitior named Ariela Travylan woke up this morning to a woman putting a sword to her neck blaming her for some explosion that had from, what she had gathered killed most of the people in the conclave including the Divine. She somehow felt very confused at all this new information, but not really sad as she didn't get to meet anyone at the talks that she remembers at least.

Indeed The demon may kill you and send you to your grave with the truth of your real identity intact so it's the perfect time to start acting suspicious and nervous, heh.

So... is it possible to get any tier 3 schematic in that pot in Valammar?  Because I've been farming it for the past 45 minutes (at least) with no luck getting the Dalish Scout Armor schematic.  I've seen duplicates of other tier 3 schematics I don't want, so I was wondering...

Have you found all his 'Grey Warden artefacts' yet? Perhaps it's that. I doubt it's due to exiling the Wardens. On one of my playthroughs, I kicked them out, and he still had that quest.

 

That said, Blackwall seems very buggy in general. If I exile the Wardens, he disappears out of Skyhold completely. Managed to make him turn up eventually by fast-travelling round and round Skyhold until he reappeared. Then there's the fact his extra dialogues don't appear after his personal quest. What a frustrating man you are, beard thief.

 

Edit: Solas' quest isn't race/class related, got that one with Cadash. Maybe approval again?

In one of my playthroughs Cassandra, Laliana and Blackwell disappeared regularly. The radar told they were present, but the weren't.
Sometimes it helped if I walked away for a while, clicked their quests in the journal, and went back. Sometimes the y appeared in front of my eyes. Wierd thing...

My character's still in Haven, level 7 and am in the Hinterlands for the first time.  I thought I'd try my hand at T3 farming to get cool armor right away XD.  Heh, this may be the first and last time I try it though (once I finally get that schematic... o.o)

If I haven't gotten any tier 3 schematics in Valammar before Skyhold, I just go to Hissing wastes for all the tier 3 schematics at the merchant for the armor and do the Tomb of Fairel quest that gives tier 3 schematics for weapons except a staff.

That's happened to me quite often with Iron Bull in the tavern in this PT. When it does, I just go to Undercroft and then back to the tavern, and there he is.

Yeah, folks disappear on me all the time. Sometimes I quick save/load and they reappear. Other times just running around the area for a while makes them materialize out of thin air. The bug makes sense with Cole but it's annoying for everyone else.

Well I finished my mage Vyre Dite (romanced Cullen, had Celene die) so i went back to playing Draven Vollsa. I unexpected started a romance with Dorian and made a seperate save because I actually wanted to romance Cassandra. Currently my Cassandra save I am at a variety places and recently killed the Crestwood dragon. I still got a ways to go before level 20 but I am still enjoying Reaver. The only things I am meh about is for some reason Cassandra goes down QUICK (no hentai comments please ) and I am playing the game mainly controlling Sera unless I am rift busting since Draven is destroying things like no tommarow as a Ai character while I pwn as Sera which I find laughable. I still feel like when i played my sw/sh fem warrior Amalla Vollsa I still had to use stratagey for my character so I rarely switched unless it was a dragon battle where I switched to Sera and pwned dragons as her.

 

I have a couple other characters to play (knives elf rouge, archery elf rouge) but I am also juggling two old saves of DA 2 to incopperate to a new world data for DAI.

 

PS: IS there a dragon in this hissing wastes? I am maybe tripping here.
