Hi There,

Just trolling the forums and noticed a thread about not being able to load the game. There is release control on the EA Store Digital Download versions (some of DD providers as well) that lock the game until a certain time. For North American players unlock should occur around 10 am pacific time

Please let me know of that clears up your issue.

thanks for the info... but, you know, in Atlanta it is 7:30 AM EST on 01-26-2010.
the game should be available now. Yes, I can wait, but it causes issues and needless tickets to support.
PLEASE just POST a simple notice on the ME2 home page as to when your customers can expect the game to be unlocked.

I had the same problem which I found odd as I heard the release date was the 26th for europe. Guess I was wrong.

Well it's the 26th and I've been spamming the play button, making it do an internet check and it constantly fails. So either it's bugged like **** or the 26th isn't the release date in europe. Either way it sucks. :-/

EDIT: For the record, I bought the ME2 DD version of the game from the ea online store.

North American digital release should be around 10AM PST

Also Bioware has no control over the unlock time - its established between the publisher (EA) and the distributor (Steam, D2D, EA store, Impulse)

For European I think the digital is the same at north america, truth the official launch is the 29th, no for digital download, last one have that languages (Spanish, English (US) and (EU), Czech, Russian, and Hungarian). I believe the game in Europe can play at 18:00 GMT+0 (+8 from PST time) 10am PST time is 6:00pm in Canary Islands/London/Lisbon.

We'll see in 3 hours and 20 mins.

So any new about the promo codes for the EA Store Preorder/Preloads?
Havent goten an email yet, I have the Digal Delxue version!

got my inferno code from the DDE but nothing else besides the game code yet...waiting to see if they email them when the game is unlocked in 10 mins



BTW i got through to the chat and he said that the codes arent sent out until the order is deemed completed...which will happen when the game is released...

Not all of europe it seems..I still can't get the release date check to verify. And I still haven't received any other key besides the game key itself either.

Edit: it's the digital collector's edition from the EA store.

I'm not sure this is the right place to raise this question, but I'm expecting my copy to be delivered (since I bought the offline CE version) tomorrow, so I'm wondering if I'll be able to play it before the 29th?

I know it's just a one day delay if I can't... but I am an impatient little sod

I bought mine from Ea and I am getting a release date error. How do I resolve this?

Anyone from the UK got the DDE from GAME and got the email for the installation? If so have you been able to install it yet?



I seemed to be able to DL it fine, but when I go to install it goes through the initial install screen with pic of Shep and green bar moving along at bottom, when it gets to the far right, the screen vanishes and gets replaced with a little popup stating "No supported languages found contact Bioware" Now at the time I had a window open that could see the folder it created but soon as that screen went the folder went too.



I know on GAME site it states that on Friday at 0.01am I will get an email with the activation key so am wondering if the install is on some sort of lock too or whether I need to DL it again?



Any help with this be much appreciated, I've sent GAME an email too about this but figured would ask here as well seeing as the popup advised contacting Bioware
