So I just noticed there is no patch for the xbox one version.

I have noted several bugs on the xbox one version... especially this one "Fixed several conversation lines which would take a very long time to advance to the next line unless they were manually skipped." Is there a reason why this will not be corrected?

Yeah no idea, I'm holding off on campaign till the patch hits XB1. Playing MP in the meantime. Haven't been able to find anything on why the XB1 patch wasn't put out, you'd think of anything the new gen stuff would get through faster then last gen considering all those pipelines are simpler.

Anyone else run into anything, dev comment, twitter something? Can't find anything on it other then 'at a later date'.

They're blog said no XBOne today. Since everyone else got one I'm assuming it is a technical issue - certification maybe?

If it failed certification I think it would have also failed the 360 version.  My guess is that there was a last moment issue that would do more harm then good with the XB1 version and they need to fix it first.

Maybe. I didn't realize the 360 went through.

Yeah, every platform except Xbone. 360, PS3, PS4 and PC. PC had issues, considering XB1 OS is literally windows it might of had similar issues and they held it instead of hotfixing? I dunno. Either case its generally easier to patch on XB1 then 360 so 'something' had to crop up.

The QA people at Microsoft, Xbox One division, took one look at this patch and shot it back down the pipeline to Bioware. The one QA person over at the Xbox 360 division, being overworked, let the patch through. :)

That's my headcanon. Don't mess with it! :D

There is a patch coming "soon".

Be calm - Xbox One was likely the most stable of the platforms...

Honestly, while am the first to want a patch for the Xbox one ASAP to fix the issues I have, I don;t want a balls up like the PC version has. At least with the PC version you have some scope to try and rectify the problems to a degree using fixes the Bioware boys posted, less so on the console I guess.

I agree to an extent, the major issues I have had are the banter bug, lack of music, and some quest glitches that are irritating beyond believe. Though it has crashed on my a few times.

I hadn't experienced the banter bug or absence of music so that's not a universal I guess.

I haven't had any quest glitches (I couldn't solve) and had one crash to Home in 170 hours of play.

Maybe I've been lucky.

Nah, I'm pretty much right there with you. In 200+ hours I've had maybe 5 conversations that stalled but continued within a few minutes, and maybe 3x that the game just shut down but it loaded in the same spot.

No major issues here.

I am starting to think the XBone version is the most stable one but I hope the Patch fixes a few of the lingering issues like dissappearing NPCs"Cullen" and the occasional vanishing undercroft.

My biggest problem thus far, are a few dialogue glitches with Dorian last night. The Cassandra romance dialogue was glitched as well, but hopefully they'll fix it soon. Otherwise, my experience on Xbox One has been great.

PS4 (few) bugs seem to be the same as X1; 2 crashes in the first 10 hours, none since (60+ hours); a few convos I had to exit the area/come back; ominous music that would continue while exploring.  No banter bugs though.

Where are the game crashes? I've not run into a crash yet, and it's been 20+ hours for me.

The Xbox One version apparently had a couple extra bugs that caused the delay. It's in certification and should be live soon enough.

My flat mate had never played a dragon age game before and I persuaded him to get this for x1 so we could play mp together, and he has had no end of problems. The game crashed and would not even load at all, so he uninstalled and reinstalled, and it took about a day and a half to install again whereas it had only taken an hour or 2 first time round. It will play now, but will randomly corrupt all his saves, needless to say he is rather regretting buying this and I feel guilty for persuading him to get it.

It's not a guarantee; like I said from 10-60 hours I have not had a single crash.

I'm guessing it could be related to a power outage while playing in the first 5-6 hours of the game, and that my saves after that were intact, where as my previous saves might have gotten corrupted.

Interesting, could it be regional or console related? I'm on an American Xbox, but even then I've still heard about bugs and crashes across all versions.

@WidePaul : That sounds like his XB1 is screwed. No game should take that long to install, ever... unless he was downloading it and his connection was just being crappy? Either case I've run into my share of crashing, but I've also played it for a good 200+ hours. Think it's dashboarded 4-5 times now? Outside of mechanical issues the only thing that I really, really want fixed is the conversation hitching. Really not a fan of losing half a conversation due to that BS.

Seriously though sounds like your friends XB1 is screwy.

I thought that but all his other games are working fine, saves intact etc. so I guess it just really doesn't like his DA:I for some reason.

Mine crashes when I kiss Dorian. Has happened three times now, only worked once or twice, but it seems to be the only scene to do this. So weird.  (I have 200+ hours played, 2 playthroughs)

If it's delayed they would have good reason. It's probably not a conspiracy. Probably.
