If it's delayed they would have good reason. It's probably not a conspiracy. Probably.

They get DLC first, screw them M$ fanboys :P

that darn patch can't come soon enough, bugs I've had required me to quit out too much, I've logged 135 hours on my only play through and have had to hard reset the X1 a few times too get more stability.

on a side note doing all side quests and war council missions available before doing the next main quest mission might not of been the best way to avoid bugs.

Patches are a pain.  Figuring out something that is wrong and worthy of getting fixed and then fixing it is the easy part in many cases.  Shipping it is a whole different beast.

Console patches have to also be vetted by Sony and MS to some degree, so things like networking, UI, localization, and savegames work etc.  And beyond these two companies, there are also regional differences in some cases i.e. Europe vs Japan vs North America etc.   So 4 (console) platforms and some varied number of regions on top for DA:I.  For each combination there is a seperate team that owns its certification testing and the all shoot back their own bug reports.  Various issues can be waived from being fixed but each team will be separate in what they find and what they want fixed or what they will allow to be waived.   If you interrupt their process with a patch for the patch for issues they aren't reporting, before they have finished testing it you basically risk their ire and get thrown to the back of the line (or worse).  There are also other games in the pipe needing similar testing, and doubly so during the holidays.

As for the original question, where is the xbox patch?  Only Bioware and MS know :)   The patch could have been kicked back with some must-fix issue the others didn't have or discover, and also taken longer to fix than expected which starts everything over again essentially.  It could have been simply been submitted later than the others or missed a window for available testing resources.   MS could have bumped the priority of things on their end (Halo:MCC patches perhaps?).

I thought there isn't a patch for XBONE because they're too busy screwing over the PC community?

I hope we get a confirmation on the XBone Patch soon and maybe a release date as well.
