They're not.

Incorrect. Requisition quests use drops from the "valuables" list, and some of them can be rendered completely impossible to complete if you actually sold the stuff rather than hoarding everything because the specific mobs that drop those items vanish from the game, never to return. Yes, requisitions are entirely optional and don't really do much. It's still incredibly shitty design.

200? i used the perks to get max 90.. how did you manage to get 200?

CheatEngine, most likely. It's very useful to put in some quality-of-life stuff Bioware failed to add.

If you're playing on PC, I strongly recommend taking a look at it. Doing your own modifications takes a bit of practice (although it's easier than it looks at first), but there's pre-made hacks for various games and tutorials for how to use it on DA:I.

And unless you're enough of a complete idiot to actually attempt to use it on multiplayer, it's perfectly legal, too.

(InB4Semantics: Using it on multi is still technically legal, it'll just get you banned.)

It would certainly be nice to have.  Useful items that have a too-high level requirement for you to use when you get them are another good candidate for storage that hasn't been mentioned yet.

Everybody play the game the way Rip504 tells you to. Disregard the fact that storage chests are basically the #1 request everytime a DA game is released.

LOL! That's quite a viewpoint Rip504 has. He's the dream player of every game publisher who wishes to monetize their game as much as they can. Not having basic features and add them later for a price is a sleazy way to do business and I'd want no part of it.

Bioware hasn't done this yet but I sense a whiff of monetizing opportunity for all the wrong reasons (within a customer's viewpoint). The game has several issues, especially so for the PC, and patching will take forever due to the absurd number of platforms they made the game available. There should be a free patch with basic features, such as storage, as a way to compensate the frustration that players have been having. If it wasn't for the extraordinary storytelling elements of DA:I, which got them a GOTY, this would have been another average game.

The UI and general gameplay elements need a serious revamp. It needs to have an immediate sense of comfort-ability that I'm not feeling with the current design.  With Skyrim I'd be complaining about bugs, not how you actually play the game. DA:I would have been an easy 9 on Metacritic otherwise. Perhaps fresh talent would be in order for future games in respect of gameplay mechanics - while adding bloody basic RPG features from the get go.

I havent found storage to be a problem. Crafting materials are held separately, not included into your item count. So gathering crafting items wont fill you up. Try actually playing the game before requesting ideas. I usually have about 15 items in my bag at all times, if I fill it, I sell stuff, but it doesn't fill with crafting mats or schematics. I see no point for storage chest at this time.

No Ring drops yet, hu?

A chest would be nice. Atm I only have about 10-15 extra items I want to hang on to (extra elemental resistance for the most part) and some additional valuables I might need further on, but Its enough that it would make a difference: Its no fun having to exit a cave or whatever just to go sell stuff and come back again. A chest would help there.

I want to be able to think before hand, yes. I want to be able to think that if I hold onto something in a chest and not have to destroy or sell it, said item could come in handy later. #MyInquisition.
