Does anybody know where to get the armor, preferably schematics, that the Qunari mage was wearing in the E3 demo? I'm almost done with my second playthrough and I still haven't found it.

Under cuts, because pictures. Not really actual spoilers. such an oddly spelt word.

It's the shoulders I want. So, it should be an Arm Upgrade of some sort. I spent a fortune at the merchant in the Hissing Wastes hoping it would be there, but no luck.

If anyone knows the name of the schematic and wear to buy/find it, I'd appreciate the help.

I got it via random drop, iirc.

I believe you can buy them at the vendor in Hissing Waste. That is where I bought all the "Inquisitor Armor" Schematics. The name is Battlemaster something I think,

So can anyone actually confirm they got these end-game armor looks for their Qunari with screenshots?

I have not - Bioware dropped the ball with Qunari gear. Warden armor does not show up on them properly - you only ever get facepaints for helms and they are pretty rare (for the good ones) - especially annoying with how awesome that helm Iron Bull gets for example.

Here's my current Qunari mage look - level 21 and nearing the final few story missions with most of the side zones cleared.

Very, very disappointing. And BioWare will take an age to even acknowledge the bugs affecting certain other armors appearing as underclothes on Qunari (Inquisition armor sets from Haven, for example).

My gripe is they missed a critical opportunity with gear but it is something they could fix in a patch/DLC - this being, allow us to use any style within an armor type when crafting. As I acquire schematics, using whichever appearance I want would be most welcome in tailoring my appearance how I'd like.

But yes, Qunari gear is either bugged half the time or intentionally neutered. I love the look of the Inquisition armor on the vendor but it's so low level and statless why would anyone ever use it outside of style? If I could make use of it with customized stats and gear? Woo. And make it show up on my Qunari, just like Warden armor should too.

I'm ok with Qunari having unique facepaint - just wish there was a method to craft it since it's made from animal/plant poisons/viscera and there's a nice system already existing in game to expand this from.

One of the cooler ones I got was this intense elfsnake vitaar - bit hard to see in this image but it made me look like this forest commando mage xD

You have to farm chests in order to get it. They are a random drop, it's actually a set of arms. Battlemage Coat Arms to be exact. Only available from chests that drop tier 3 loot. I managed to get it on my last playthrough, the entire set actually by farming chests in one particular area that drops tier 3 gear.
