I think I read about this somewhere, and might have asked about this somewhere, but I forgot to check notification for quoting and I am just so forgetful so I didn't get an answer. So, is there?
Is there something called "weekend event" or whatever?

We are all desperately waiting for one, they might start appearing from this weekend onwards, since there was a patch, but no one really knows, well aside from certain BioWare employees *kuch* Amelia? ![]()

I have a great idea for the Event. How about I get to play Demon Commander in random matches and people try to beat me?
How about no-DC weekend event?
Or for every DC, you get a random unique?
Man I'd be filthy rich ![]()

The rise of the Nugs or The walking Nugs, mutated nugs who are each as annoying and strong as the demon commander ![]()

Good ideas.
How about a dark lighting where you can't really see far and need a mage with veil fire or their fancy spells to light the area. And then have the Undead emerge from Maker knows where. I actually saw someone claim the character hair got so shiny post patch, it could light up a cave. Well, let's have the warriors have shiny hair so they won't stumble over their own feet.
The goal would be the Legendary Chest (which is not a Templar Breast-Piece), placed randomly in the level but indicated by excited Nug squeaking. It is, however, protected by undead bosses and for every Nug slain on the way they become more powerful and angrier. They also command a year's zombie game releases worth of undead personnel.

Event #1 Kill 50,000 demon commanders on all skill levels. Failure Penalty, Demon commanders will appear on each wave for a week.

Perhaps if the nugs on par with the killer rabbit from Monty Python's: The Holy Grail

Do you have ANY idea how long it would take me to control 50,000 Demon Commanders? I'd need to quit my job for that.

Maybe we could have it so I only spawn with DC in your lobbies. Yes, that might work.

I hope they do this soon. I enjoyed having the weekly challenges for ME3 MP.

I'll take my chances with you behind the controls rather than the normal cheating bum faced scum bag DC.

Be warned that Bioware may have good intentions but they rarely have a viable strategy to execute them. In the case of ME3's MP, Bioware did not even give us enough weekend challenges to allow players to max out the N7 weapons associated with those events. Even worse they added more N7 weapons, reducing the chances of maxing any of the event weapons. When they finally abandoned support, they just dumped the N7 weapons into the normal pool as ultra-rares. Fun idea but the end result was a very diluted drop pool without a proper plan to distribute event items to the loyal players. Given how poorly the item situation is in DAMP, I fear for how the weekend events will be managed. I can see it now... kill 500,000 Templars, get a schematic for a level 5 rare weapon.

Hate to agree with this, but this is what seems likely given the current state of affairs. Hopefully we are wrong.
