I have many issues with this game that makes it one of my least favorite BIO games but most of the joinables are solidly well done. Varric (of course), Cassandra, and Solas espicially. Even characetrs I thought I would totally dismiss out of hand (Blackwallor Sera) have been fine. Only characetr i don't care much for is Iron Bull because he comes a cross as fan fiction nonsense. He is the most boring qunari in the series. even that  qunari mage you escorted in DA2 is more interesting.

 

Good job on them (thus far).

I agree. I thought I would hate Sera and she is probably my top character at the moment. Not a fan of Bull either, some of the banter makes me laugh but with that glitch I haven't warmed up to him.

I actually think Inquisition is Bios best since DAO, but on the topic of characters, I hate Bull and Sera, and find Blackwall and Josephine utterly and completley boring, but otherwise I do really like the game's cast.

I particularlly didn't connect with any of the characters really except Dorian and Varic. On emotional level at least. I don't know if its because I'm all gitty with DA:O and just feel all nostalgic thinking of that game. It just feels like it can't compare with the Origin companions. Bioware though did a great job with the game!

 

I can definitley understand the love for the characters though.

I agree Origin actually had my favorite cast out of any Bioware game, well..... except for Oghren and Wynne the only good those two can do is go off and die. (

DAO's cast has never even been in contention for me. I loved Alistair and Morrigan and was reasonably fond of Zevran. Everyone else was indifference to disgust (Oghren). Even Leliana who I couldn't stand in DAO left a positive impression on me in DAI.

I loved Leliana throughout the entire series but considering she's my favorite character.......... My favorites in Origins besides her were Alistair (even though he's kind of an idiot), Morrigan, and Sten. Oh and did I mention that I hated Oghren and Wynne? Yes? Well let me say it again. I was fond of everyone else though.

I loved Wynne's nagging, she was just being a concerned grandma haha.
