You mean the 0 motivation girl? Yeah fantastic villain...
wasn't she gaspards younger sister? Meaning she had just a tiny bit less right to call for the throne than him, and if she killed Celene and gaspard she'd get it? I'd say that's reason enough. Unless we're dealing with half siblings that i must've missed.
Sooo.
Is BioWare sexist for not making more female bad guys or are they sexist for even including one female bad guy ? Also is saying female bad guy - would that mean we are misogynistic ?
Im half ready for Anita to jump out of some dark hole in the univiers to scream at me how misogynistic i em.
Sorry SJW's are making me question my existence.
Last bit is perfectly reasonable. Gaming has always been inclusive, but when people put their gender or sexuality in such importance that it no longer is just their state of being, instead a personality trait, we get what SJW want. Borderlands does this to an extreme effect, bioware kinda did this with dorian's companion mission with it being exactly like a after-school special cliche. I mean, it was like watching Degrassi, and don't get me started on how they put emotion in the qun by inventing a word for Krem, a good character regardless, but i'm getting off topic horribly and want no further discussion beyond that, only to reassure you it's fine to have this mindset.
Back to the original topic, yes. It seems like most if not all the female villains had a way to talk them down or not fight them, meanwhile all the male villains have to be fought and/or killed. That, and most previous men of power have gone utterly mad. The Lord Seeker, Samson as perfect examples of this that I saw my first playthrough. (I haven't started my second and wish say things i've seen for myself, not just in videos.) while the warden commander was mislead, the duchess can be arrested without a fight, and calpernia can be reasoned with if you show her evidence of cory's plan to betray her.
