New Game Plus, i have to say I really enjoyed that feature from the mass effect titles, the higher tier weapons, as well as the gear in me1. my first play-through in DA:I felt like I only had the tier 3 items for the last 2 or 3 missions in the game... wish I could have played with them a bit longer. it might be worth while if you upped the creature levels, and maybe added tier 4 & 5 schematics & crafting materials, just for characters that have completed the game. maybe adding a second skill panel for extra skills too, so continuing to level up a character to a higher level is a little more useful?

and this really doesn't have anything to do with a game plus feature, but... if you're going to have jumping puzzles you really need to have a run-walk toggle, that's just common sense, or so I thought.

I also wish for this. I usually do one playthrough where I do EVERY quest and end up with the best weapons and armor. Shame not to be able to use them for longer. Also, it makes replaying much easier when I only want to see how different stories/decisions/romances play out without having to grind for hours just to level up so I can move on.

shouldn't the new game plus be: roll another class and start over to do things differently (i.e story, companion interaction, etc)?

That would be a new game. I do not know of any games where you can change anything aboug the characters in a new game+
