Hi,
I have a simple and quick question. I'd like to know, If I want to do a solo run on my first playthrough, will I miss a lot of dialogue options?
Hi,

Yes. In DA:I alot of banters you can participate in and content unlocked by companions. I suggest to raise complexcity level and to take at least one companion at time with you. ( i am at start of NM run like that right now)
There's also places in the game you need a Rogue (Lockpicking), Mage (Energise objects/view Runes) or Warrior (Smash objects). You could go back and do them later on I suppose, but there's some areas you'll not be able to get to again.
Solo run DAI is an even worse idea than solo run Mass Effect.
If you have all of the dialogue options unlocked through inquisitor perks, I think you can get through all of the dialogue checks that you would otherwise have to rely on companions for. Idunno, I haven't tried an actual solo run aside from killing some dragons, I love the party banter too much. But near as I can tell from a few extra play-throughs, companion dialogue options at crucial points are only there as backup if you don't have the requisite dialogue perk through influence. So if you've unlocked all of the "XYZ dialogue and Codex Experience" Perks you should be good to go.
You'll miss more than half the game if you go solo...but you can do the main quest all by yourself if for some reason you really want to.
I do not get why peoples wanna do a solo run in their first play-through... I understand nightmare run with Firendly fire on. But doing a solo the first time is like watching a cam version of a movie, then buy the Bluray.
Plus, you cannot really do a solo run in DAI since some non companion quest will require you to bring a specific companion.
you can do the solo run... just drag the team along strip them let them die so they're there when you need a door picked or an object broken (also gives you the banter and quests... they'll self ress at the end of combat).
I would complete the game once before doing the solo, meta gaming does help.
