My female elf mage is going after Cullen and I was more than a bit surprised when I went to his office and the only option was if he has time to get away and answer is sure. Then we head outside and man was that kiss ever short then he just turns around and heads back to work. I liked the look on my elf's face like really is that it??? Time to go visit Bull.

Yeah, I somehow lucked into it my first playthrough...and my second with Dorian. But I haven't been able to replicate that success with other romances. I actually went through an entire run of Halamshiral before I realised I'd messed it up and Josephine came out instead. Took me going through 'Here Lies the Abyss' and not unlocking any more romantic dialogue that I figured out I must've actually just completely messed up the Solas romance. Still haven't figured out what I did right my first two times.
As far as humorous romance scenes go, I just locked in Cassandra's last night and she is one confusing lady. Does she not realise 'can't' isn't in the Inquisitor's vocabulary? For a woman with such a can do attitude, she's very limiting. "You can't. You're the Inquisitor." '...And?'

No, I saw the dancing with Solas. I think the Bull just required extra animation work so they skipped it. Imagine him dancing with a dwarf.

Actually, Iron Bull is the only romance where you DON'T see the dancing. Everyone else has a small animated dance scene, even Solas who we know has almost no romantic content. I guess I.B.'s model is just too clunky. His whole romance is riddled with the two of you "almost" touching, and the first scene is sort of ruined because of the animations. He's supposed to grab both your arms and pin them over your head, to which Quizno lets out a shocked gasp. Instead, Quizno raises their hands for him to pin, and then gasps, which is just absolutely bizarre.
Sera doesn't have a dance animation either, the screen fades to black when she takes the quizzy's hand.
Or maybe that's only when you romance her as an elf as I did.
I'm still on my first (incredibly long) playthrough but I have to second the first kiss with Cullen. The backing-away messenger kills me. Especially because there seems to only be one messenger model (or they are all clones...some kind of Inquisitorial stormtroopers, perhaps) so it's the same poor hapless chump who got growled at in the first interaction with Cullen at Skyhold. The whole thing is kind of daft because you start the scene in Cullen's office which has, y'know, walls and doors, and then when you say you want to talk alone, the two of you go outside on a high wall in broad daylight with people walking past the whole time. Evidently both Cullen and the Inquisitor have a case of the stupids around each other. I now headcanon that Leliana sees the whole thing go down from the crow tower and laughs hysterically.
The Bull 'interruption' scene is pretty priceless too though. 'I can't feel my legs!'
The kissing scene was great. It got even better when I realized I had to run quite a bit to get back to his office. I can imagine them just walking along in nervous silence until Cullen finally manages to pluck up enough courage to say, "wow, nice weather, isn't it."
Smooth, man.
I really liked Cullen's romance. It was so normal and awkward. Dorian is a bit more flashy. My third run is going to be with a dwarf. I am looking forward to the weird animations, although I think they did quite a good job this time. They probably should have made Bull just a bit smaller.

I'm going with Cassandra's, only because it's so painfully awkward to have to stare at an extreme close up of her and the Inquisitor's face when the cutscene inevitably bugs.
Other than that... Definitely Bull's.
Not anymore if you're playing on PS4. I tested it yesterday and mine no longer bugs out.
