So... There I am, just minding my own business, recent patch (#2) applied, trying to kiss a Templar with a battle axe, and... First crash for this game! 
(Just thought it was darkly hilarious, considering the miles long fix list for this patch...)
But but but: The other day I installed the new drivers from AMD (currently abusing the snot out of a poor HD 6850), something to do with Omega. (Win7-64, 8 Gb DDR3 and Core i7-860 without hyperthreading.) It has occurred to me that Sir Dev-team recommends 14.11.2 Beta, which is the previous driver. How important is it that I use the older beta driver, exactly?
The exact error message involves some DirectX-voodoo, so it would seem to have something to do with the GPU driver.
That said, I must point out that I only got hit with this earlier today. I'm about to have another go at the dastardly crash-Templars, just... getting pre-emptively pumped, I s'pose.

Eh... Never mind, I guess. Everything's worked fantastically, and I clocked some 3-5 hours yesterday, smashing just about everything up to bear-sized objects. Literally! I'm good now. And people's hair-dos don't look like lego-pieces anymore, woo.
