This may have been discussed before, but search found nothing for me, so thus the topic.
How is your experience with these "LOL" (fraghunter) type of players on public?
I play Elementalist (arguments you want to discuss about this class choice belongs into another thread)
I personally have noticed, that they rule the Casual sector (forgot the naming of the easy-mode), but i'm also noticing an increased participation on the Threathening level, to the point where i can't complete even 50% of the Threathening operations i join (i don't start / join those that dont have a tank OR a KE/AW, because there we just don't stand a chance.)
You would think that people would take notice of the "stay in the room on 5/5" tactics, but alas, 80% of the times half of the group runs out and dies (in threathening), thus dragging the entire operation down with them, because of "FRAGHUNT" ...
What is so important to these people about getting "kills"? You share the XP at the end and you get nothing special for golding your staff/dagger/greatwhatever.
Would like to hear an explanation from a "fraghunter/rusher" if possible ![]()
PS. I do get a rush, if we manage to clear threathening with a gimp-rush group, mostly not due to the group synergy, but me pulling the slack and keeping the meat-kabobs alive with barriers..
PPS. I don't run a dedicated group, because i have no friends playing this on the PC and i've not found a decent EU based group to do so with me.
PPPS. We need a "General forum" for MP please.
TL;DR: Fraghunters and rushers are ruining the MP for the rest of us (skipping jars, treasure-rooms, rushing into groups and dying).
