Dear Bioware and Dragon Age Fans,

 

i'm from germany and want to give you some information about this bug i found in the game. I play on Xbox One and i'm really enjoying Dragon Age Inquisition.

 

There seems to be a bug in the "Secret Temple of Solasan".

I did the right doors (fire) with lvl 11 or 12 and finished the whole passage. I heard alltogether the hero receives 20 resistance to the specific element. My hero only received +14 fire resistance.

 

1st chest +4

2nd chest +6

3rd chest +10

 

Unfortunately i cannot loot the 1st or the 2nd chest again and they look closed. The only chest which looks opened is the 3rd one.

 

This bug happened because i saved the game and loaded it after completing the 2nd room and without having opened the chest. I was very short on health pots so a quick load was the right decision. Unfortunately the chest could not be looted again.

 

At this time i did not recognize that this is a bug and finished the whole passage, so the last chest worked fine and i went out with only +14 fire resistance.

 

Thanks for reading my post and eventually this bug is already known and can be fixed. I would appreciate this.

A quick load wouldnt heal you. You'd need to go back to camp to do it.

Are you serious? I know how to fill the health pots or to regen the group.

The bug still exists. I could not loot the chest after loading and I still cannot open this chest. Despite the fact I cleared the room. This is a bug.

Your post made no sense at all.

Btw I loaded because I wanted to use regen pots instead of health pots,

Hi Tamalan:

I found this to be a difficult mission because I want it all!  I completed three of the doors and ran out of shards.  When I went back out of the temple to collect more of them, the ones that I hadn't picked up yet but had already located had disappeared off my map even though they were still shown to be outstanding on the shard collection mission page. 

I am now on my second game and am going to collect all the shards before going into the temple so that I can open all the doors.

With your problem with the fire resistance, I think it may have to do more with your level when you first opened the chest. I think you will have to accept it for this game but keep this in mind on the next one.  Collect the shards in the Forbidden Oasis but then move on until you have completed at least 54 shards in order to get some good benefits from it.  You may wish to reload the game before you start, in case you did get a glitch with the first download. That 20% resistance is really good to have with the dragons but I didn't hunt them until the last and loved fighting them when I had a better chance of success!

My problem is that there is this one shard I can't figure out how to get to in the Exalted Plains.  I wish someone had a video of it.  It is on a roof (not the one closer to the Path of Flame-I got that one) in Ville Montevelan, close to the water, towards the broken bridge. I have almost all of my achievements and I want to know if I have to open all the doors in order to get it.  Or how to get up on that roof....

Thanks for your advise. Unfortunately I can't help you with your last shard. But maybe the time has changed an 7 months later you got it.
