I agree. This would be much more useful for those who wants to weight the pros and cons of picking a class...
I think it is the first time I see a RPG without a healer class, but I guess that's alright... DA:O still rocks !!

I've been debating whether or not to start working on a Dragon Age fansite that has builds, guides, strategy, info, etc. Currently I have a small WoW palladin website that has some basic phpbb forums.
If anyone is interested I can set up a temporary DA:O forum section on those forums to discuss class mechanics and such, untill I decide on a better domain name and separate it to it's own site.
I'll start making the forums now. If anyone's interested the site is www.thepallyplace.net/forum

I'd personally like to at least class forums for the 3 main ones...would be nice as people said to see different builds, strats, etc etc. Then within those yo ucan talk more about the specializations and such.

Please don't bump. It's annoying and pretentious, especially when it regards something as inconsequential as separate forums.MethodSZ wrote...

This hasn't been necessary for a single game in all of BioWare's history. What makes DA different? Platform specific forums, at least consoles/PC, has some merit (and has been done in the past), but I don't see how this does. If you desperately need focused class discussions, make a group for it. There's already a group for rogue builds.

There's no chance they are going to create class forums.

I don't think class forums are a necessity, considering that there are really only 3 classes (specializations don't really count), and 2 of them have quite a bit in common.

There's no need for class-based forums when there's already class-based Groups. For the Rogue group, go here:

Official stance is no class-forums - use the many groups that exist. WoW forums don't have user-created groups, so they have to make do with class forums.
