Further tarnish Bioware's reputation.

For me, it fixed the random freeze in the Main Menu which was driving me nuts, so that made me happy. Also my Inquisitor's hair is now oily yay! Search now highlights stuff on minimap and you can rotate the character models with the right mouse button in the inventory and character screens. And it also broke some visual effects which is mostly fixed by setting mesh to Ultra and adding -ShaderSystem.ShaderQualityLevel Ultra in the shortcuts. All in all half a thumbs up!

The patch fixed a number of issues, but sadly opened the floodgates for some new ones to surface. I experienced two brand new bugs, one of which was particularly exciting (and kind of cool): Time slowed down permanently after a combo attack during the assault on Adamant. It was like being stuck in a total slowmo. It fixed itself after I finally managed to use another combo attack... but yeah. At least it was a pretty bug. You don't get those often.

I'm running on Medium so it fixed the hair but now the opening screen with the Templars and Mages walking goes a little strange.

The biggest positive change brought by the patch, for me, was the improvement of he search function. No longer am I running around in circles trying to spot the thing that set the "ping" off.
The graphics issues will be fixed in a soon to be hotfix. I've also bumped into a new bug twice now, one that I didn't experience prior to the patch: on the war table, mission icons suddenly stop responding to mouse clicks. Switching between ferelden and orlais fixes the issue.

That's actually in the patch notes. That's funny.
I had never experienced it, until AFTER the patch. So apparently they fixed it for those who had been experiencing the bug, while introducing the bug for those who hadn't. ![]()

Sylvius is defending the game so much.
I don't understand the rules of this universe anymore.

I bring clarity. When people are being unnecessarily positive, I make counter-arguments. When people are being unnecessarily negative, I make counter-arguments.Sylvius is defending the game so much.

I also really like the game.

Was it supposed to be fixed? I don't recall right-clicking doing anything there (right-click does work in the instances where the dialogue wheel becomes unresponsive to the mouse); the solution for me has always been to Esc out and then use the mouse to switch to the other region and then back again. That's actually in the patch notes. It was a problem before (I encountered it a lot), and it is supposed to be fixed now.
I like how sometimes the Back button gets drawn to the left, and other times it ends up on the right. It keeps you guessing.

I had no issues before the patch on PC. Now the grass is really bright, random npc's suddenly look 90 years of age (not my character though), also the banter is barely triggering. Can I undo this patch? Oh and yes the shiny hair is happening. It makes me wonder if pc users were given the wrong patch. ![]()

The improvement to the search tool was welcome. The graphic issues... not so much.
I trust Bioware to fix that sooner or later with a hotfix. At least the textures and graphics quality. I'm more worried about other things. I know I wasn't the only one whose Inquisitor's complexion texture changed for another one (although it seems I was one of the lucky ones, since I didn't get the wrinkled face). Will that be fixed with the hotfix or will the game get that complexion wrong forever?

Wait, random NPCs can have the complexion issue too? ![]()

When Iron Bull tells you he wants to show you something, Mira had that issue. Before the patch she was fine.
Just to add I am on a new playthrough so don't know of many other issues yet.

There should be a hot fix today or tomorrow. You can get the details here.I trust Bioware to fix that sooner or later with a hotfix. At least the textures and graphics quality. The short answer is that your complexion didn't really change, but even after the hot fix you may need to adjust your mesh quality setting to restore the old appearance (since shaders will now match your mesh quality).

Well i got 2 characters now i dont want to delete but cant stand to play lol, one is a elf who's arm has stuck to his side (happened before patch but its right annoying) and the other is a bearded mage who was fine until the patch and .......well now he looks like he contracted the blight lol, his damn face is right nasty to look at, other than that like before my bugs were minor and never bothered me. my gripe is mainly with some of the features and how they implemented them, but no game is 100%

It was a good patch. It fixed some legitimate problems, and created some minor visual issues.
Completely ****** up the graphics are "minor visual issues"?
Maybe if you were playing on medium/low before.
Waiting for the fix...
