When we were still waiting for 'The Inquisition' there was a pretty epic thread on BSN about what you would like to see in the game. I can't remember what it was called and haven't been able to find it, but I thought we should have another! But for extra things you think would be nice or funny or maybe just a thing you want more of in the game.
I'll start the ball with 5 things I would enjoy in this wonderful game

1. Jewelry, I would love to give my elf pretty earrings or my qunari a nose stud.
2. for the Inquisitor's bedroom to gain some kind of function or be more customisable, maybe change clothes there or hairstyle? Change jewelry, Invite friends or lovers up like in Mass effect 2, or get a pet or something...
3. Let me fix the rest of Skyhold! Urgh, those cobwebs!
4. More decours!
5. More outfits for the inquisitor in Skyhold!

What would you like to see?
Do keep it positive and constructive. I don't want this to be an angry complaint thread, but a fun ideas thread

I would like to see DLC on the order of what we saw for ME2 & 3. You know, Shadow Broker's base-ship, Harbinger, Omega, Leviathan. Meaty stuff.

Patch: 1) Texture issues fixed 2) Text size increased so people can read them 3) Freezes and crashes fixed some more 4) Scars added on CC (it doesn't matter if they are inmovable though that's cool but I'd just want some scars) 5) All other clitches and bugs fixed

 

Then after that as expasions I guess:

 

1) More qunari hairs, especially to female qunari 2) Option to choose male animations for female characters 3) Skyhold PJ's must go, some choices thanks! 4) Scout Hardin as LI 5) DLC where our advisors are our companions.

I heartily agree with the text size thing! Also they should make it more bookish.

This is kinda why I thought I would start this thread. Scylla Costa said they would keep supporting it with patches made from feedback, so why not add to the feedback. Hardly all the things we mention can be done, but still, it's fun to imagine extra stuff or talk about what we might want.

Bug fixed should be a given, so I'd like a storage chest, auto-attack, bigger text, cinematization of all conservations related to main and companion quests, tactic system as indepth as before.

1. More saves. Why am I limited to 25 across the board? Does PC get more saves?

2. Consolidated Weapons/Armor upgrade screens.

3. Bigger font.

4. An actual dress for the female inquisitor during Winter Palace. How can I let out my inner girly-girl self and re-live my prom if I'm going in a ghastly velvety military....whatever? Cullen and Cassandra pull it off and Leliana and Josephine look OK, but Vivienne, Sera, and I look simply ridiculous.

5. Finish repairing Skyhold. The commander of my entire military force has giant gaping hole in his roof and piles of rotten lumber helter-kelter all over his room. For shame.

1.  One "I like you" gift that you can give.  As much as I like that they are getting away from super spamming gift power (even though I did enjoy it, I appreciate the new direction), it isn't natural to *never* give the one you are courting something.

 

2.  One "Please forgive me" gift.  Many bouquets of flowers have gone to mending a rift.  A single one-use apology gift to curry a little favor would be nice.

 

3.  More clothing choice for early in the game.  The plain clothes for the judgement scenes are almost as bad as the smoking jacket for DA2.  Let us pick what we wear outside of battle, please.

 

4.  More hairstyles.  Once again, there only seem to be a few that are pleasing.  I'm glad there are more choices...but a lot of them just aren't interesting.  (I do realize it's a bit of per-person, but I've seen some amazing, delicate mods done for the other games in the series so I'm sure you can get something that flows a bit more.)  So, please?
 

5.  Last but definitely not least, some story content of what happened with Sandal, how the DA:  Origins and DA2 side characters/companions react to the news/events of Inquisition.  Keep tying up all the threads; this has been a beautiful game release.  I'm enjoying playing through the whole series again.  Kudos.

2) A way to get rid of the flashy VFX & weapon trails for non mages

Agree, i don't care for stuff which belongs to a Sims game.

 

1.) New cool mainquest and proper sidequests, dungeons, puzzles etc

2.) Veteran Mode: Import a character and start a new game vs higher leveled stronger enemies.

3.) More Companion content (not new companions) -> quests, cutscenes etc.

4.) Face import/export or face codes.

5.) Funny stuff to do in skyhold. for instance playing card games vs your companions.

A bed I can sleep in.  

The option to have LI sleep in my bed/move in.  

The windows shut in my bedroom in Skyhold.  

And Leliana to stay dead.

 

edit...and a storage container somewhere in Skyhold....I hate selling shite off.

OK more ability slots instead of having windows in my bedroom if I have to choose only 5

Ugh. You're probably also one of the ones who was just fine with Tieflings being in the DnD players handbook.

It is sooo  c-c-c-cold in Haven, especially since I can never close any doors that I open making the interiors part of the frozen wastes. (Silly as it sounds, I would like the ability to close all doors that I open = i-m-m-e-r-s-i-o-n).

Better mounts. The mounts in this game SUCK, there's no variety, most of them are ugly and there is no point in riding them because they don't move much faster than your character does.

They actually  move much faster, it's just a optical illusion, which makes you think that they are not that fast.

I'm usally more for story DLC, but there are some things that could be connected to story DLC too and I'd really love to see.

 

1) A "wolf hunt" DLC. Solasmancers will understand.

i would be happy with simply more scene and conversations with his character. I'm not asking for romance-specific content, or sex scene. I'd only like some more interection with the character. we hardly have a few cutscene with him after his mission "all new faded for her".

 

2) Hairstyles!!!! For all races!!! and NO BALD SPOT FOR FEMALE; THANK YOU VERY MUCH!!! I can't use the half shaved/ half long hairstyle because the bald patch irks me. And is the only long style I would consider. Not that the short ones are better. I have problems creating a new elf character because I can't stand any of those.
the only less horrible hairs are the pixie cut (I love the kind of hairstyle, but is quite bad realized, expecially if one look at cassandra's or Sera's haircut.) and the 80's 

Let's not talk about the female Qunari. I still can't understand why hair (as horriblem and few as already are) and horns can't be separated. Is very limitating having hair and horns united.

 

3) Please let us change clothes in Skyhold. or at least the color. That beige thing is horribly bland (and totally out of characters for Qunari and Elves. If it is too much work, let us wear our harmor ot a mage dress.

 

4) A cest is needed. I hate having to sell unique items, or having the inventory full of things I can't use because I'm still at a low level to use it.

 

(I know, I have out there six, ad not five. But since those are most gamey fix...)

 

5) Since I have romanced Solas after the second kiss I didn't even needed to enter in my Inquisitor room.  So there are two chances: or give us some more things to do in these quarters (like kiss that sexy elf when we like, like the ohers romances) or at least put something interesting to do there: like some scene there with the companions (like in ME3) a minigame or something.

 

6) a mirror of trasformation like in DA2 (one of the few things I liked of that game), since the light usually make makeup very hard to do right, it would be fun to add scars during the game, like seeing our character becaming more and more rugged while advancing on missions.

1. A storage chest in the Inquisitors room. Actually give us a reason to go up there.

2. Place a mounted Dragon head for each Dragon you kill on railing of the raised area in the Inquisitors room.  Actually I could see them being mounted on the walls around the throne in the main audience hall as well. Could be unlocked via a war table mission to find a master taxidermist to do the work.

3. More hair styles and a way to change your characters hair styles/appearance in game.

4. The ability to fix/clean up all of Skyhold.

5. Schematics for Inquisition armor and weapons that you can buy from the start of the game in Haven. Open up new tier levels of schematics via a Perk. I found it rather lame that I could only buy Inquisition armor in Haven and you soon out leveled it. Reverse engineering items to get schematics would work for this as well.

6. Go back to your roots and return the DA Origins skills/stats system.
