I only ask for two things in an expansion.  TWO THINGS (barring all the bugs of course) and I will be right as rain.

1. More hair options for Elven males and Qunari

2. Armor and robe options for Qunari (notice I didn't say more.  Because as it stands, there are none right now. NONE.  Might as well be anyway, in terms of uniqueness).

I've stated before in another thread, BioWare did a good job with giving us options but failed utterly at giving us incentives for those options.  Why would I play as a Qunari when they have no good hairstyles?  And no unique outfits?  Why not just play as a human?

Patch:

  1. Storage chest.
  2. Remove race locks from schematics/armors.
  3. More sensible distribution in terms of schematics. Factions (ie, Inquisition, Templars, Wardens, Dalish) should have their own schematics, not thrown in oddball places because of some oddball attempt at balance.
  4. More sensible loot drop tables.
  5. Fast travel points in more sensible places - Skyhold undercroft and war table, please.

- Fixed elf arms

- Better CC, including hairstyles and body type modifiers

- More functionality for the Inquisitor's room

- More Dalish themed decorations for the castle. (like a throne or bed)

- Story dlc in general. Love the lore of this game world. (broodmother. I miss those chills of fear I would get fighting one)

I actually miss the origin stories. I would love a dlc that lets you play your character in those beginning hours/days before the events of Haven.

Of course, part of me wants to experience the story of Andraste in person, or the ancient fall of the elven kingdoms...ah well. Why is it only DA can get me this obsessed with their lore?

Something like Awakening, as in it is clearly post-ending content whether it is DLC or actual expansion. Clean up the romantic loose ends of certain characters, one in particular for female Quizzies. Unlikely to happen, though.

Reverse engineering for weapon and armor schematics. So that I can actually choose the appearance of equipment.

  1. Walk Toggle.
  2. Accessories Crafting.
  3. Equipment Salvage -> 33% materials return or Reverse Engineering into schematics.
  4. Deep Road Dungeons across Thedas.
  5. Mount Combat.
  6. Advance Combat Tactics.
  7. Change appearance mid-game.
  8. When I press & hold Loot (default "F"), my companions will also looting instead of just me doing all the works.
  9. Wall of Fire should burn friendlies (I turn FF on but not working).
  10. Storage Chest & Display Room with Mannequins.
  11. Switchable weapon in combat.

There you go, *phew* that's a lot. :P

I only have two requests:

1.) A proper toolset for Frostbite.  Everything that I don't like about this game could easily be corrected with some simple mods.

2.) Large expansions that introduce some new areas and character driven content.

Storage Chest

Better Mounts

More Hair Choices

Cloths appropriate your job....Assassin should look like an assassin when wearing armor, Warriors the same way.....mages are fine in robes.....

Better AI tactics

HEALING....dunno how many times my teams sucks up pots in 2 seconds and then I have nothing to use

Fix Skyhold completely

More ways to get rare items.....rather sucks you only have enough Dragon items after you kill all dragons for a weapon and if it fails "MasterWork" your SOL for making another.....

Elf arms all messed up

Better jewelry/accessory stats....takes forever to find anything worth a Sh*t in game to use....

MasterWork add on parts for armors/weapons....Not just the POS Bianca should get uber upgrades....all gear should!

Add to last choice....Better MasterWork odds....hate only getting 1 out of 10 tries to work, when you have limited supplies of the rare items to use making gear!

Good thread. Hope it survives and thrives.

1. Different options for clothes in Skyhold FFS!

2. Fix the absurd conversation bug that completely ruins pacing and cuts content.

3. Make more romances for straight dudes like me (this list is allowed to be selfish, right?).

4. More qunari armors. Seriously, they all look the same. So bright and shiny and... ugly.

5. Add quests that flesh out the main storyline. It feels very insubstantial and flimsy at the moment.

better behavior system for followers, put back like DA used to be, like "use X skill when near X type of enemy." or "use X tonic when (less than, greater and, or equal) X % of health." This is what made DA great in my opinion, it's been soiled.

My list...

1. More romance options/companions

2. More interactions with your love interest. Sex shouldnt be the end all be all of your relationship. Its not a quest were the point is to have sex then its "quest completed". You could go on dates, have talks about the future, kids etc. Or even get married would be great as well.

3. More hair styles that are unique for male and female inquisitors.

4. Healing magic restored or at least a healing mage specialization. As i stated in another thread this could be easily done by some mage coming to help out and getting the potion guy upset. He could feel like he's being replaced and get angry and force the inquisitor to make a choice between the mage (ie healing specialization) or the potion guy (ie keep potions for healing) That way nobody complains. What am i saying people will always complain. lol

5. More content like what was shown in the demo. The building of forts and defending of towns etc.

Tweaks:

Storage Chest/trophy area

More work on some cut scenes so that Dwarves and Qunari actually fit on screen better

Add banter triggers so we don't have to wander around trying to trigger banter that adds dialogue or changes things.

Fix some of the broken quests and side things that dont register

Maybe add an indicator or verbal cue that NPCs have new things to say like in DA2.

Content:

New area in Nevara

Something Post Game clearly that tells what is happening.

More crafting options and such.

Maybe change some zoom in convos to cut scenes if possible.

Other than that not really much to add.

Maybe like a minigame area type fair thing or something.

1) A trading plot line for Josephine, leads to side quest for opening trade routes, adds storage facilities, fill up on crafting supplies, etc. No gimmies but would create a lot of legit reasons for side quests.

2)A war plan plot line for Cullen, leads to side quests to establish bases which opens areas to allow the main story to go forward. Could create party bonus'

3)A covert ops plot line for Lelianna, New side quests will lead to new path ways, special items, plot secrets, and item upgrades.

4)In order to do all that create an actual war room space, where you have to interface with said 3 to open these agenda items.

5)More armor and clothing designs, leading to flexibility to choose design cues when crafting armor and weapons.  Or at least give us better looking armor.

Ugh, true. The behaviors screen is so lacking. I want to be able to order my mages and archers to keep a distance from enemies. <_<

6) A meeting place in skyhold for all of the NPC's, so you can chat with all your party members like the old DAO party camp, do total party inventory swapping, etc.  In this meeting place however you can take control of any NPC. Which leads to

7)The ability to wander thru skyhold as any of the the NPC party members, doing so leads to some new dialog with various elements of the castle.

8)A Jukebox so I can play any of the Bards songs somewhere in skyhold.  Maybe in the meeting place, the bard takes requests.

9)A battle that scares the bejesus out of me, like going against 5 revenants and a high dragon for instance.  Bring back memories?

10)Since I'm the leader of the inquisition, A big badass Quanari women who can handle the daggers and is flight of foot, the inspiration of the people, the hand of Andraste, I figure I should sentence people to death in something other than old man pajamas.

It is sooo  c-c-c-cold in Haven, especially since I can never close any doors that I open making the interiors part of the frozen wastes. (Silly as it sounds, I would like the ability to close all doors that I open = i-m-m-e-r-s-i-o-n).

I thought I was the only one. Yes. Door closing. Its nuts that you can't do that.

would be cool to actually do something like sit in chairs or at the bar in the tavern, maybe order a drink, use your bed in skyhold, etc...

I mean, if they want to copy Skyrim, why not go all out?

So many of you have already identified changes that I would love...here are my top picks

The ability to hear your companions/advisors over background noise. I find I miss a lot of conversation with Cullen in particular.
Storage chests
The ability for anyone to open a locked door or bash in a weak wall. Very silly that a mage or warrior cant open a locked door.
Advisors to occasionally change their clothes... especially poor Cullen with his weighty horsehair coat or whatever it is...

Since a lot of the things I would usually ask for have already been asked for, I'll add a few things that have not been requested.

1: An expansion with more zones, story, and all of the features that were cut due to time constraits.

2: More in game economy, political and societal related features and more ways to gather specific crafting materials, with out having to chase down specific mobs at specific levels, ways to help shape the course of the coming age and  things the Inquisition can do to make the world a better place. (Merchant's and crafting guild with missions, resources to secure and unlock, farming guilds and various nobles, mayors and people with concerns etc)

3: More ways to impact the world with your decisions, such as rebuilding old defensive structures, building new community structures and other investments that would be of use to the Inquisition or customizing existing buildings. (Eg, repair the fortifications around redcliff and leave some kind of indication that this building was restored by the inquisition, build roads, repair or use farm lands, build fortresses that serve a specific function, etc)

4: Functional upgrade options for Skyhold, such as building upgrades, replacements and repositionings. (For buildings that didn't already exist and have cut-scenes / trigers tied to them. Cobble stone roads, npc housing, stables upgrades, full wall repairs, npc shops, trade wagons entering and leaving, npcs entering and leaving skyhold, etc) but enough options to turn Skyhold into a living Citidel or small City. (Essentially, ways to turn Skyhold into a city state)

5: Upgrades to the current cities in terms of size, reasons to visit etc. Along with more cities and locations around the world to visit. I wouldn't mind revisiting some of the DA: O / OA locations.

I've really been enjoying the game but I have a few issues/areas I'd like to see improved.

Patch (for PS4 issues):

1. Make banter more frequent, and space it out more evenly. 2 hours between banters is too sparse; two seconds between banters is too much. Both of these have happened to me. I would much prefer it if banter fired regularly at 10-15 minute intervals.

2. More varied armour designs for the Inquisitor, no matter what race or class you choose.

3. Fix items and abilities that don't work as intended.

4. Get rid of the buggy dwarf in Emprise du Lion(?) - I haven't reached that area yet so I haven't encountered him/her, but the screenshots I've seen freak me out. Reminds me of a manimal. I really don't want that thing in my living room...

5. Companion character models take ages to load in the equipment and abilities menus.

Expansion:

1. Side-quests should be longer, with more decision-making.

2. Interactions with NPCs should be much more dialogue heavy, with preferably multiple tone/choice wheel nodes in each conversation.

3. Larger urban areas. Val Royeaux was beautiful, but needed a few more districts. Separating each area of a city by loading screens (eg. Denerim and Kirkwall) is great  - it adds a sense of scale.

4. Focus on big expansions rather than DLC.

5. Make enemies scale properly in story missions, but continue to keep scaling out of exploration areas.

Opening up more of Val Royeux beyond that marketplace.

We've got more than enough wilderness maps, so if the DLC opens up any new areas I'd rather see an expansion of an urban map.
