Sorry if this has been addressed but there are so many topics to sift through.
I noticed after I completed the final mission, Varric, Josephine and Cullen were missing at Skyhold even though they are still on the map. In particular Varric's area by the fireplace was cleaned out and Josie's area looked different. Did they leave? Varric still shows up in my party selection scene and I was buddies with him and as far as I know my advisors were sticking around.
I also felt like running around after the final mission seemed sort of pointless, because I "won" and there was no longer a good reason to accumulate power and influence, and no longer able to have conversations. Clearly I'm not a completionist. Anyone else feel that way? I had a lot of unfinished/untouched areas at the end.
I'm doing a replay now, I'm about to start In Your Heart Shall Burn. I don't know if I have the stamina to spend another 90 hours so I want to streamline it, any tips as far as areas, side missions to focus on? I will do all of the companion quests again for sure, except maybe Vivienne's since I don't care much what she thinks. Playing on casual so leveling up isn't a big challenge. I was thinking I should focus on the areas I didn't get a chance to fully explore last time.
Finally, has anyone actually had a companion leave? It seems really hard to get them to hate you.
