Vivienne, Dorian, and...Sera.

I have eclectic taste.

Vivienne is like an auntie to my mage Trevelyan. They essentially agree on most political matters. She's experienced and Trevelyan's no dummy to ignore her hard-lined advice. Dorian is just fiesty, fun, and I think a Tevinter perspective is necessary and appreciated. Sera and my Trevelyan are two besties, even if they bicker amongst themselves. They're around the same age. I headcannoned my Trevelyan to be a little troublemaker at her Circle despite being the star pupil.

I couldn't bro with Iron Bull. Once he talked about strap-ons I was like "WHOA HOHO I'm out."

I just realized that my Trevelyan doesn't befriend romance-potentials...whoa! (That's actually true of me...I friendzone so quick it's almost criminal.)

Nobody really.

Feels like I have mostly professional bonds with the group. With the exceptional of Cole, who I'm uncomfortable with, and kind of care about at once.

I feel differently about Cassandra and the advisors, for some reason. I would not have joined the Inquisition if not for them.

Dorian. He's just such a pleasant fellow and fun to be around. I was prepared to hate him, since I hate Tevinter with every fibre in my body. But his backstory was surprisingly interesting, and that man is just too charming to hate.

My first time through it was Brolas. But then he turned into Trollas, and I was sad.

Second playthrough, Dorian all the way. I actually bromanced him in the first playthrough, but he was overshadowed a bit by Trollas. This time, it was all about my sassy gay friend. I almost romanced him, but Cassandra just keeps pulling me back.

Dorian is pretty cool, I must admit.

Gaider did a good job with him and Cass.

My lady inquisitor had a bromance with Iron Bull. He's a staple in my party. I plan all my tactics around him. Iron Bull is the greatest.

I was ultimate bros with Cassandra. We often disagreed, but had a lot of respect and trust, which made it the friendship all the more compelling. Dorian and Cole were also great friends, but not party members. Though I traveled with Varric and agreed with him almost every time, he and my Inquisitor seemed more like friendly coworkers than actual friends. He seemed distant. I could tell his people were elsewhere (probably Kirkwall.)

Every bioware game I play I'm more interested in bromances that actual romance. My warden was friends with every party member and despite the fact that she "spoiled" everything with romance with Alistair, he still remained her best friend.

When I played Hawke - Varric was the most obvious choice and he remained that way.

But when I started Inquisition I was surprised at how Varric doesn't fit in the BFF role for her specifically. In the end the only true friend of my mage Trevelyan is Dorian. Cole (but he's more like younger brother) and Cassandra follow.

Probably Cole. I feel like he'd be the character most likely to keep in contact with my Inquisitor for the longer term after everything is all over, even if the Inquisition were eventually disbanded. Nothing like a BFF/little bro who can read your mind! :P

Varric has been my bro since DA:2, and I think Sera came along too now. Though I think I'm more protective of her, just like Cole. They're like cute little siblings.

For my first Inquisitor: Solas, Cole and Cassandra (Sera romance). She respected Solas and Cassandra immensely, for slightly different reasons. Solas reminded her a little of her Keeper, and seemed very knowledgable on all sorts of things. Cassandra seemed very determined, and remarkably open-minded for a Chantry official. Lavellan also liked trolling her a little, but it was all done in love. Cole she treated like a little brother (to his annoyance, occasionally). She also befriended Josie, probably due to their mutual love of diplomacy and being sweethearts.

She got along with everyone though, even Vivienne. I thought they'd butt heads more strongly on the mage front, but they ended up respecting each other quite a bit. Vivienne even seemed to become fond of her. Like a cool aunt. Or sister. I have no idea how old she is.

My second is a work in progress, but she seems to get along with everyone who isn't Vivienne and Sera.

My little elf mage was besties with Dorian. I loved the friendship between them- it was perfect! I imagined her crying on his shoulder after Solas dumped her. T_T

We did not get along at first, though Dorian and I slowly but surely developed a stable and loving bromance.

I also had something on the side with Le Taureau de Fer and Varric when Brorian Brovus wasn't looking.

Dorian was an ever-present in my party - also used Bull a fair bit as well, and Cullen was my chief confidente amongst the advisors.

Dorian's just great though, just couldnt ever leave him out of the party.
