Dorian is just made of BFF. When he confessed that he's a man with few friends and regard my Inquisitor as a very close one, manly tears.
Cassandra would be prime BFF material too, if my Quizzie hadn't been too busy trying to get in her pants.
Varric is a friendly acquaintance, definitely not bromance, which is fine. Iron Bull ain't too shabby either.

I might say Leliana.. even though my characters thus far are guys. Romance Cass, but Leliana has some interesting moments with the main character too.
Varric, Bull, Cassandra, Dorian and, the one I really didn't expect, Cullen.
My Cadash Inquisitor just became a templar, so I'm headcanoning him having a far greater understanding of what Cullen is going through by giving up lyrium, and now holds far more respect for the man, and after beating fairly in a board game and their shared down-to-earth and straightforward attitude at dealing with problems, considers him his best friends.
Dorian, Bull, Cole and Cassandra.
I didn't think I would like Cass as much as I ended up doing. She has a lot of great scenes, one of the favorites is when she knocks Bull on his ass! Ooh and when she's chewing out the "glorified clerk" 
Cole is another unexpected one. I love that he's so innocent and he has awesome banter. Aww I just want to hug him! 
Bull is hilarious, especially his obsession with dragons. Also his romance with Dorian was great.
And Dorian...well he's Dorian!
Everyone. Bromances are of vital importance and should be instigated at every possible opportunity.
Yup. My Cadash would be a poor leader if he wasn't on everyone's good side in the Inquisition. Having a romance with Cass and Josie was also important.

Solas was more of an advisory figure. Blackwall obviously keeps to himself...and then there's Cole

Dorian's entrance as the mage-side companion intro (only completed the games once so far, holiday prep is slowing down my game time) was one of the best in a game I'd see in a long time. And I've seen some good ones.

Take from a happily married woman of over a decade: Being best friends is the only way to be lovers. Staying best friends is the only way to be married. 
My elven mage Inquisitor ended up being buddies with Sera, despite being scandalized by every other thing she says. XD

On my first playthrough with a Trevelyan manquisitor archer, he bro-ed up with Sera. Was originally going to romance her then she turned him down, but he eventually got together with Lady Scribbles after that. They remained bros for life, dissing snotty nobles, breech/breach raiding, helping refugees and making cookies. No raisins. Aside from her, theres Bull, Dorian, Blackwall.
Second playthrogh, I bromanced almost everyone on my Cadash femquisitor warrior, eventually riding the bull along the way.
On my recent playthrough, with a dalish dual wielding femquis, everyones hatin' on her guts, except for Vivi. Was kinda surprised how concerned she was at skyhold after haven. "Dear you look dreadful, let me have a look at you." I'm fine, mum.

My female rogue has a major bromance going on with Cassandra. She flirts at every available opportunity with her if only to deliberately make her blush.
And Dorian.
I don't know what it is, but I can't seem to connect to Varric the same way I was able to in DA II. His bromance with Hawke will never be upstaged.
Cullen, we were Templar-bros. He gave up Lyrium around when my Inquisitor started taking it, but still, the shared experience of being Templars made them bros.
There was less bromance than in prior games though. Being the head of an organization made for less bromance.
Nothing beats Hawke and Varric bromance, and it made me happy it sort of continued into Inquisition.
After completing his personal quest, Dorian and I were homies. Varric as well.
Granted I dislike the term 'bromance', I did 'bromance' Cullen, Dorian, Solas to some extent and Cole (favorite. ever).

I wanted Blackwall to be my bro, but he's a difficult person to get close to. Same for Solas, though at the moment, he does call me "friend". I just don't feel connected with him much though.
Varric's ultimate buddy is Hawke, so he's taken. Cole is a child, so I feel like I need to watch out for him like a son or younger brother.
Dorian's the only one I feel is a good friend. We did travel back in time together.

Oh, I forgot about Iron Bull. We're good friends too, but I feel closer to Dorian. Iron Bull's a good drinking buddy, someone to party and pal around with and have my back.
