Hello,
It seems like my audio wouldn't be working so good as most of the dialogues are cut off at the end and in all cutscenes the audio doesn't fit with the actual video. Please help me, it's annoying to have a game where audio is the most important part, which isn't working :-( .

My specs are:
HD 4850
P5Q with onboard soundcard
Core2Duo 3,2 GHz
4 GB Ram

And of course Win 7.

Thanks for your help :-)

Update the driver for your onboard sound chip. You can get it at ASUS's website at the downloads section.

Can you post a DXDIAG printout so we can take a look at your system?

Have you tried switching to software audio(or to hardware audio if it is set to software)?

On a side note, did you notice the native resolution listed for your monitor?

Current Mode: 1280 x 1024 (32 bit) (60Hz)

Monitor Name: PnP-Monitor (Standard)

Monitor Model: MD30217PG

Monitor Id: MED07B8

Native Mode: 640 x 350(p) (70.100Hz)

Whatever it is, there may be a monitor driver out there for you.

Seems like there is no driver for this monior. It was a special offer in those days, you bought it together with another PC. :-(

As it seems, nobody has a solution, so I just reinstalled Vista and now it works fine.

I have Windows 7 professional and the audio on mine is doing exactly what you described.
