Ok First thing first I love the game but the more I think the more I find the beginning more and more I don't disappointing even though I do think they did say you are going to start post launch but I was expecting a little more and they do go in a little bit after about what happens while it is going on and i know they mention why your there  but Do you think there should of been a moment where we are at the the concave pre breach where we get to make out what happen before we get to the divine and why we find her they could had a play while your recovering your memory in the fade or could of had it at the beginning And i think it would of help people get more attached to the pc i know i heard so people said that

Opinions

ps sorry if it is Tl:DR

I definitely think the game started out a bit abruptly. Unless you know what happens between DA:I and DA2, not to even mention jumping into Inquisition as your first introduction to Thedas, the whole Conclave-thing can be a bit confusing. "Mages? Templars? Divine? What are you talking about?!"

The devs did say that they wanted to throw you into the game with something as simple as "Demons are bad --> Go stop the demons.", but I think they didn't really succeed in their execution. Now, I don't think they should've had us present at the Conclave before the Breach actually occurs, that isn't required to make things better. But I'd have liked something more along the lines of how Origins starts, or Dragon Age II. You know, giving a narrative introduction with some lore exposition to draw you in.

Like this, basically.

As a personal preference I would've liked to start the game arriving at the conclave, simply because I like prologues that ease you into the game so that you can get a feel for the new protagonist, the situation, and the environment in general. Being thrown into the action like that makes it a little harder for me to connect with my new character.

I agree i understood everything but just thinking about it makes me think it they kinda took the easy way out and simplifying it a little to much

Well they did say at the end of DAII that the mages rebelled and most of the Templars and seekers left the chantry to deal with the mages which was the mage-Templar war.
