As it states above. I am trying to romance Solas and got passed "All New, Faded for Her" twice now. The first time I was play female dalish elf and had to restart the game because the game kept thinking I was human mage instead of dalish mage with the only part of it working being the Solas romance. At that point I had just gotten to "Here Lies the Abyss" and had poured over 20 hours into the game on Hard mode. I restarted and was happy upon realizing the game was now playing as I was a Dalish and not a human. I got passed "Here Lies the Abyss" today after over 30 hours in the game on hard mode and suddenly realized that Solas wasn't saying "my heart" at the end of conversations like he should have been.
I checked my log and noted that "All New, Faded for Her" wasn't registering as completed; yet, I got through it and even had the start of the romance scene that followed with my approval being high enough. His character card hasn't changed, and it seems like he's not a "friend" let alone the romance starting up.
I know others have this bug as well and wanted to know if I had to restart the game (again) just to be able to have the romance working. I would rather not but the game's ending (whatever it maybe) isn't worth anything to me without getting the romance completed. I love Solas's character and have been looking forward to his romance even before it was announced (around the time he was announced as a character in the game). I had to wait on getting into the game for my computer to arrive as well so that is why I've so little (in comparison to some) hours logged.
I am not trying to complain. I realize games come with bugs and that it takes time to fix them, but I would like to know if his romance still registers even if I can't move forward with his personal questline if there is a quest after "All New, Faded for Her".
