I've found that I'm fond of every one of them in different ways. The only one that ever really grates on me is Vivienne, but she has her good moments.
Who else likes all the companions and advisors?

I have a kind of personality clash with Sera, but it's not enough to make me actively dislike her, and I can still understand why she has a fandom.
As a whole, they're my favorite set of companions so far.

Yup. There are qualities that I dislike about all of them except for maybe Cassandra and Solas (because I haven't found those qualities yet), but on whole I don't dislike any of them.
I love Solas, but he is irritatingly inconsistent when it comes to how he views elves, within the space of 5 minutes he tells me he doesn't want to be defined by his ears when we discuss Briala, then I ask him what gift Sera would like and he says, 'how would I know, she isn't a proper elf' or something.
I like most of the companions/advisors well enough, I hated Vivienne but liked her when I replayed and befriended her. Iron Bull could disappear from Skyhold and I probably wouldn't notice though.

Definitely my favorite cast, but it might be because I feel like the sheer amount of dialogue/storylines for each companion outweighed almost all other Bioware games I've played. This was one of the few games where i never talked to all the companions when i want back to the base. Not because they were boring, but because you could have a 10 minute conversation with one companion and still have a crap ton of dialogue left. I really felt like thsi helped the exploration aspect as well since I never ran out of dialogue (outside of cassandra/solas who i bothered incessantly), and i am now finding ouit i missed a lot of scenes with companions.
Yeah, the amount of dialogue with the companions is astonishing.

Least favourite cast of all three games. Not saying I disliked them all by any means but felt lacking imo versus previous games.
What cast stood out the most for you?

Adored the da2 cast but origins had excellent cast too(as evidenced by leilana & morrigan still standing out when just npc's in DAI)

I dislike Vivienne. I like everyone else but I'm neutral towards Sera and Cassandra. The biggest shock for me was Cullen. I thought he was an ass in the previous two games, but in this one, he grows on you.

Sera's fun if you don't take her seriously. I mean, she's just trolling at everyone and everything. Just put her in your party and act as you wish & she's hilarious anyway.
Cassandra... I love her. Actually I'm quite antagonistic toward her for the first 10 minutes of the game but then, she kinds of grow on me. When she disapprove my inquisitor's decision to ally with mages she still stick with her no matter what. That's the point, she's loyal & it's impossible for my inquisitor not to be loyal to her
Vivienne, sorry but I'm not recruiting her the second time. Period.
Blackwall: his personal quest is so buggy that I get crashes to desktop everytime. So finally I can't say anything about her.
Morrigan: wow... Yay!
Leliana: scared me to death.
IB: bwahahahaha he's better than I anticipated
Dorian: wow! Good work, Gaider!
Cullen: ah... our templar had grown from a boy to a man now ![]()

Nothing inconsistent about it. His views on elves could be summed up when he chastises Hyndel and convinces him to go back home and help his parents. The ears don't make you an elf; it's how you live. I suspect that Solas would have a lot more respect for and consider Feynriel more of an 'elf' than Sera despite his human blood.
As far as referring to himself not being elven - he's sort of kind of a god. I'm pretty sure that transcends his elfyness.

It might be because of the banter bug, but I feel like the DA2 cast were the strongest as a group, there were a lot of developed friendships and enemies amongst that cast. And yeah like you say, Origins set up a few of the biggest players. (I'm still sore about Alistair though, who was that Warden pretending to be him in Inquisition??)
Deep down I still like this cast more as individual characters, can't wait on that bug being sorted,

I get what your saying, but he could have explained himself better. It felt very, 'don't judge me on my ears, but judge Sera on her's, because I'm right and she's wrong.'

I think they're collectively my favourite bunch of characters in any BioWare game, and that's saying a lot.
Totally agree with this. I'm a big fan of this group. Very strong all around. Can't think of another group that the worst I can say about some of them (Cole, specifically) is that I'm indifferent to them. Maybe KOTOR? That was a good group too.

With lots of game hours behind (I'm bit of completionist) I can honestly say that I like all of them. Ruffles (Josephine) and Cole are just adorable, Varric, Leliana and Cullen are old favourites (though I like Cullen most in this game), Iron Bull is hilarious, especially when talking with Vivienne etc. And I am nowhere near the end yet.
Though I think only companion I didn't like in DA games generally was Sebastian.

I don't much like spirits: Wynne had a spirit, didn't like her. Justice was a spirit, he bored me. Anders had a spirit..hated him in 2. Cole, please go away.

Don't hate anyone, not even a strong dislike, which is odd, usually there is always one. Enjoyed this cast all in their own way.

Yes, I like all of them. Some more than others ofc but there is no Anders or Merrill in this bunch.

That kinda thing annoyed me about Solas, his "my opinion is right about everything" attitude got tiresome

True. If you do not agree with his opinion, he'll disapprove... which is disappointing, since some very thoughtful arguments can be made against them, and one would think someone like him would respect that if not agree. I admire several things about Solas, but not that quality.

I'm not a big fan of Solas, but otherwise, yes, I like everyone. Although, he's definitely no Sebastian when it comes to making my blood boil.
At the same time, other than Dorian and Cassandra, I can't say I feel as close to everyone as I did in DA2.

He gives the impression that he is open-mined by approving of asking questions, but as the game progressed I realised that was too good to be true. ![]()
