You're reiterating the Chant of Light now?
Just in case we're not familiar?

The Maker is real. how else do you think The Darkspawn got here? How else do you explain the Fade and the Black City.
The Maker created us but then turned his back on us when we turned to worshipping Dragons. The Old Gods are EVIL! Basically the way Thedas can be saved is for the chant of light to be spread to all of Thedas so the maker will return.
I imagine that will be the ultimate good ending in Dragon Age 4.
To genuinly infuriate people
That or dark unknown magic is kinda awesome
How else would my Elf Warden pull the strings in Ferelden's court? All for the Greater Good and prosperity of the Elves, of course.

[...] presumably your main playthrough includes making decisions you would make if you were actually in Thedas.
Nope.
Hmm, I think I know where you got your information from...The Maker is real. how else do you think The Darkspawn got here? How else do you explain the Fade and the Black City.

I have seen the Black City with my own eyes. What else do you think it is if not the Golden City tainted by the corruption of the Teviner Magisters?
They used the blood of Elven Slaves to open the gates to the Golden City and became the first of the Darkspawn.
How can the Gods of such evil men be anything other than affronts to all creation?
If I wouldn't have done it - Morrigan would have left me, I just needed more Morrigan.
To be a successful troll, you need to make posts that are not offensive enough to get banned but enough to rile people up.
I think he will get there eventually.
Also if you make one that has humor in it too the mod team may not be harsh on you.
The word of the day today is "subtle" ok OP? I respect the attempt but practice todays word and before long I will be feeding your troll threads for you.
You can get away with loud and heated ones, but not always. Failed attempt.
I think it was the Obama pic that ruined it, but man it was just perfect and so funny to me.

Alright.
I wanted to live so I can see the world get screwed up over my selfish decision.

You'd make a good Chanter. And a fantastic templar.
Because my wardens are selfish cowardly bastards who don't give a **** about saving the world.

You do know that it's been confirmed in-game that the Blight existed long before Cory and his crew invaded the Golden City right? 'The Maker's punishment' has gone from being 'possibly literal' to 'completely metaphorical'
Because Dark Ritual just sounds so cheerful and fun! Why wouldn't you want to made an old god baby with witch of the wild then become the only warden who survived killing archdemon just to made other wardens' heads explode. "But you supposed to be dead!WTF!It's all a lie!"
Or is it just me? ![]()
The way i saw it was my Brave, Gallant, Honorable devout Cousland warrior Warden, the epitome of a good guy and classic knight hero is tempted by and falls in love with the dark, mischievous witch of the wilds. It's a great romance story imo one for legends and folk tales in the future. Towards the end, his love for Morrigan was so strong that the chance to end the blight and still be alive to be with her was too great to pass up. I like to think she subtly manipulated him into it also by taking advantage of their mutual love.
To quote a certain poster in another part of the forum:

4/10, OP. You're just a little too confrontational though. That's probably why you got banned from 4chan - too obvious.
The best troll is the troll you never think is a troll.
Troll OP aside, it is an interesting roleplaying question ...
Four of my eight Wardens either did the ritual themselves or had someone else do it. They all had their own reasons and their own feelings about doing it.
Aleyna Cousland did it because she found herself backed into a corner. She'd put Alistair on the throne and promised to marry him before she found out what killing an Archdemon actually entailed. At that point, she had three choices. She could hope that Riordan managed to kill it, which seemed like a shaky bet. She could let the new king of Ferelden, Calenhad's only heir, die. Or she could take the blow herself and leave a heartbroken, unhardened Alistair in charge of the kingdom, which seemed like the worst idea of all. When Morrigan - who was her dear friend - offered her a fourth option, she felt like she had no choice but to take it. She was a Cousland before she was a Grey Warden, and she cared more about saving Ferelden and at least trying to give it a stable government to help rebuild than she did about destroying the Old God's soul. She also loved and trusted Morrigan, even though she wasn't happy about having to make Alistair sleep with her. She felt like it was the right decision, and let Morrigan leave with her best wishes when they met one last time at the Eluvian. She thinks about the child often and hopes that he's happy and that Morrigan is, too.
Runar Brosca did do it for simple survival. Growing up in Dust Town, he'd learned to do whatever he needed to in order to live one more day. He only became a Warden in the first place because death was the alternative. When it looked like the choice was between death and sex with a crazy human witch, he didn't have much trouble deciding. It wasn't the worst thing he ever did to stay alive. Just ask Leske. He didn't want to see the kid, and he let Morrigan leave without any regrets.
Ithelin Surana did it for love. He hated Morrigan and would have refused her outright ... only then she mentioned Leliana, and how she would feel if her lover died. That was what pushed him to spend the night with Morrigan, although he hated himself for betraying Leliana and the Wardens as soon as he agreed. He felt sick every time he thought of it afterwards, and when he managed to track down Morrigan at the Eluvian, he stabbed her. He only wishes he'd set her on fire instead. He tries not to think about the child.
Aedan Cousland did it for power. He was planning to marry Anora, but he worried that the rumours of her being barren were true, and he knew that being a Grey Warden didn't help in the fertility department. He looked upon Morrigan's offer as a chance to conceive an heir - even if Morrigan didn't see it that way - and to shore up a bond with a powerful ally. He plans to find the child some day and take it for himself, the way he takes everything that he wants.
So, four Wardens, four motives: politics, survival, love, power. My four Wardens who refused Morrigan had their own reasons, too. It's not a black and white decision at all.
Because
That's the way
uh huh uh huh
I like it
uh huh uh huh
Why did my warden do the DR?
Cause he cared about Morrigan and was all about pleasing that p***y!
If being in love with a witch of the wilds who wants to give your son the soul of an Old God is wrong, I don't wanna be right! ![]()
You think saving the world isn't a cause worth dying for?
There is no cause worth dying for.
