Excuse me but I have been banned by 4chan, I don't need your advice on how to troll. This post however is not an example of trolling poor or otherwise, it is a serious question.
DA:Inquisition is a role playing game, presumably your main playthrough includes making decisions you would make if you were actually in Thedas. I can understand doing experimental playthroughs just to see the content but to actually see the Dark Ritual as the best option is a completely selfish, cowardly act.
no its a stupid question. Lets look at this as a cost benefit analysis.
1) Die and save the world - acceptable loss, noble sacrifice (sorta), and generally fatalistic.
2) Have sex, save world from blight, fall in love with hot mage and have a kid with her and in the meta sense contribute far more to a deeper plot in following games?
GEE I WONDER.
Not dying isn't cowardly. Pointlessly sacrificing your valuable and worthy life is cowardly. Its fatalistic and it shows a lack of trust between you and your companions. You aren't selling anyone out. No one gets hurt and nothing is sacrificed. Sure it makes past warden deaths seem meaningless but they didn't have the same knowledge. If they did I assure you that 'anything necessary' to stop the blight would have included a simple romp in the hay with an apostate. They were fine with blood magic and giving someone an orgasm is hardly a crime in this game.
The Blight can end with or without your death. If you prefer to die then uhhh be my guest? I prefer to have my character live on so now he can pursue curing the calling in all grey wardens. A worthy goal unless ofc you feel that dying due to the taint/corruption is somehow a good thing (Fiona might disagree with you). A noble sacrifice is only noble if there are only worse or no alternatives. Otherwise is is pointless martyrdom. Go get your 73 virgins.
