I have seen the Black City with my own eyes. What else do you think it is if not the Golden City tainted by the corruption of the Teviner Magisters?
They used the blood of Elven Slaves to open the gates to the Golden City and became the first of the Darkspawn.
How can the Gods of such evil men be anything other than affronts to all creation?
You haven't finished the game, have you? Or even played halfway through.

Seriously, its such a cowardly, chicken ****, yellow thing to do. You think saving the world isn't a cause worth dying for? If you shagged Morrigan just to save your own arse at the risk of spawning some demon abomination into the world then you are a disgrace to The Wardens, Kirkwall, and the Inquisition.
I have beaten Dragon Age Inquisition twice and I will never import a save that involves having completed the dark ritual. The only thing worse than a villain like Corypheus is a coward.
I'm sorry but let's see
option A) shag hot witch, have very powerful son and get to live.
Option
you get a tomb and everyone talks about how you did your best.
YOUR BEST? loser always talk about how they did their best
winners go home and **** a witch of the wilds!

Um. Or I did it because, you know, you get to preserve the non-Tainted essence of an Old God. And also I romanced Morrigan. But whatever bro. If calling me a coward works for you, keep it up.
Also, I just read one of your other comments about the Old Gods being evil. Now I'm convinced you're trolling. 10/10 you got me good. Well played.

I had Alistair bang Morrigan (I made Alistair King and said I would become his Queen and he was pretty much like: Ok)
Morrigan was my bestest girl pal in DA:O I believe what she said to be true.
I've enjoyed the continuation of her story with the kid in Inquisition
From what I have seen on the continuation of the kid's part in DA:I I don't see how the ritual was a bad thing (yet, at least). Seems to have gone well so far...
Thing I don't understand is why my hero isn't referred to as the Queen in Inquisition. I even did the quest to contact her and she signs her letter as Warden Commander or something..what?!

It could be different if Morrigan were ugly like a broodmother.

You guys should've met Artichoke back when he was Busomjack and ME2 was out.
Fun guy. His hobbies include lifting **** and reminding everyone women can't do squat.

They have removed the DR in a not completly stupid way, to someone like me who have never have any interest in such an outcome is indifferent, to many who have taken the choice to see the outcome, well the tale of the OGB is over with only a little cameo.
Tell me about it, after all that talk about destiny.
What a travesty.

Pheww...For a moment there I thought you'd say weights.
It makes sense women can't lift as men do because then we'd damage our precious hands. We won't be able to make sandwiches and that won't give the manly men the energy to lift ****. And we don't want that.

There's nothing I hate more in a Bioware game then someone being cryptic about things that are incredibly important. Looking at you Solas, and you too Flemeth. Morrigian fits into that category as well, she won't explain to why she wanted the OGB for or want she thought it was going to do when it grow up. So, since she wouldn't give a clear answer as to what was going on I said, no. The way I figured it, killing the Archdemon without some super-mysterious sex ritual has worked before, so why ruin a winning formula even if it came at the cost of my life. Honestly, if she gave me the common courtesy of explaining what the heck was going on I would have probably have gone through with it. But no, Morrigian had to be coy, so I had to go and be heroic and die. The sad thing is her whole mysterious plan ultimately amounted to nothing in Inquisition. She just raised the kid to be normal and not evil, which begs the question why bother with all of the mystery if that was your end goal?
Ugh...
Bioware really can't pull off mystery that well without it being annoying. Remember poor communication skills kills. Might as of had Solas turn into an exposition fairy half into the game and just explain this whole Old God, Elven Gods, evil Blight and Black City business and get it over with. I would be so grateful if that just happened.

More often than not I always did the DR. Why? Not to save my own arse as you put it, but to keep Alistair alive.
Alistair is usually made King in my PTs, and in my head canon I choose for him to do the DR as a fail-safe. I always felt (and always will) that Alistair would make a better ruler than Anora. Alistair is what Ferelden needed.
In the heat of battle, nothing is certain (even if in game it is depending on choices, but we're ignoring that. RP FTW). There may have been that chance that Alistair would strike the final blow on the archdemon and be the one to sacrifice himself. And I couldn't have that. So as a precaution that he may get the killing blow, I have the DR to keep him alive.

You're right, we are delicate creatures after all. And I do love to make all the men folk sandwiches. I'd be lost if I no longer found myself with the ability to preform such a salient task.
