Honestly, Loghain banging Morrigan sounds pretty hot to me, not funny, lol. Seems like just her type.

It does make more sense than Morrigan/Alistair.

Alright, new headcanon: The ritual is a lie. Morrigan used it as an excuse to bang Loghain.

Damn! If only my warden had thought of it first! *shakes fist*

Well, there's a downside. In order for this to work, the Warden still needs to kill the Archdemon and survive. Meaning that the Warden and Morrigan had to sacrifice Dog to create a Horcrux. That's why he's gone in Awakening.

RIP Ser Fluffybottoms, your sacrifice will not be forgotten.

My canon Warden didn't do the Dark Ritual. He had a romance with Morrigan, which he followed through to the end, but he felt dejected when Morrigan told him she didn't care for "love". So when Morrigan offered the Dark Ritual, my Warden refused. The Archdemon was going to be slain, and he was going to deliver the killing blow himself. "Besides," I like to imagine him telling her, "Why would you care whether or not I die? My purpose has finally arrived. The Blight will end, and then whatever obligations you held yourself to will be fulfilled. You'll be free to go wherever you want, without the weakness of ties. As you said it yourself: love is foolish." Morrigan left, as she always does when the ritual's refused, but my Warden kept her ring. He kept it until the very end. I like to think she changed somewhat. Only just a little.

Considering I didn't do the DR the first time and my warden was an elven mage who romanced Alistair. Well he dumped her after I made him king, so I was pretty distraught so then Morrigan comes with that offer and I'm like HELL NO. I was going to sacrifice myself, but of course Alistair sacrificed himself for my Warden...I was deeply saddened.

After that I made an HN warrior and she married Alistair and became his queen...so I did the DR so Alistair and my Warden could be happy together.

Siring an evil Old god baby who could possibly be the next greatest threat to the world was a weird turn on for me. What? It was 6 years ago.

I did the DR my first playthrough for one solid reason.

I figured my Warden wanted to be alive to reap the rewards of all his actions, and live to see the consequences of the hard choices.

Bassicly,

It's so they can bang morigan, cheat on their li, and justify it. Or force someone who didn't want to do it, so they could get their happy ever after. Or to save their own necks.

It, almost, always boils down to that.

your not tieing anyone down and forcing them to have sex with morrigan. Im not sure how its done with Logain but with Alistair you basically just ask him to do it.

Why the heck not? My hot chick asks to make a baby with me, and as a bonus it will save my life! Can´t jump fast enough to the sack. My warden never intended to die fighting. He wanted to live long and prosper with Morrigan at his side.

Yes, but the player had other options. The player chooses that option. So yes the player is forcing them.

So? I'll do what I want. I like it it when you win agianst all odds. If they had such an option in ME3 saving everyone and only hurting the Reapers, but I had to shag a Vorcha, you bet your ass I would.

I never said it was bad,, and that you shouldn't pick it. But it is a very selfish decision, no matter how you spin it.. you're risking the entire world countless families and children for selfish reasons.

I was severely dissapointed that there were no severe consequences.

yeah... pretty sure my warden just wanted a chance to bang morrigan while having the serious relationship with leliana....  in fact im surprised this isnt the main reason for other people doing the ritual...  who the hell cares if my warden survives, he got to bang a hot leliana, a 3-4 some with leliana, isabella, and zevran, and bang another babe in morrigan...  why wouldn't i do it?  my warden would probably bang the archdemon too, high dragons are female....

I really thought I would could interact with Kieran as his father and there that I would like to end his life. Sad. If the next game involve Flemeth likely to see Morrigan and Kieran

They can say no though. that's why you need to have high persuasion and I cant remember exactly but for Alistair to do it i think you need to be friends with him. Asking someone to do something for you is not forcing anything.

Excuse me, but I never shagged Morrigan to save my own ass, thank you very much!

I made Alistair do it. ;)

Guilty. I can be very persuasive.
