I'm replaying DA:O at the moment, and I stumbled upon the 'Notes of Arl Foreshadow'. Now I'm starting to wonder in how far Bioware has given us clues at that time what kind of games we could expect (kind of story)? What are your thoughts about it?

They don't matter at all. Game development and story seem to have taken a different turn post Awakening. Whatever they were meant to foreshadow most likely never made it into any of the games.
