Hello, just a quick question about companion content at the stage I'm at in the game. No spoilers
please, I'm just looking for some clarification...

I'm at Skyhold, and have just completed Wicked Eyes and Wicked Hearts, but have not yet done
Here Lies The Abyss. I'm wondering if I should be getting any more companion sidequests than the ones I've already had, or do they only unlock after HLTA is completed? I've had the following companion quests so far:

Cullen (romancing)
Cassandra (complete)
Dorian (complete)
Josephine (one quest so far)
And I just received a quest for both Bull and Vivienne.

So far I haven't had anything for Varric, Solas, Cole, Sera, Blackwall or Leliana. Do theirs unlock later, or do I just have to keep working on approval? If so, how do I do that? I've exhausted all dialogue options for them - I have a few quest items left for them (such as Solas's artifacts or Blackwall's warden memorabilia), but it's only one or two each. Should that be enough? I've done all Varric's for example and no personal mission yet for him, though I'd heard it might come later. I've also done a few war table missions for Sera, Varric, Cole and Vivienne.

I know perhaps some of it will be due to loss of approval from decisions etc, but basically what I'm asking is: *should* they be available now and my approval's just not high enough or do some of
them only unlock later?

Try talking to them. And check the war table

I've talked to them all many many times and exhausted all convo options, and have nothing left to do on the war table except resources. That's why I was wondering if anything else should have appeared yet.

Their approval could decrease too much because of your actions and choices. I couldn't get personal quest from Viv because of that.

I think I got more cutscenes after doing those two mid-game quests. Though it may have had something to do with the approval. Try finishing Here lies the abyss and then talk to your companions.

I've also noticed banter sometimes really increases if you move the main story forward and everything else is mostly done.  When in doubt, always try that.

I've not been able to unlock Varric's and Blackwall's until after Here Lies The Abyss (for 2 playthroughs now). Leliana's is also later.

You need both Wicked and Abyss for Blackwall. I think you need Abyss for Varric and Cole.

The same is true for one of Cassandra's quests.
