Hi all,
I've tried looking through the forum for a solution to this but haven't found any info yet -
I was considering buying DA:O for the Mac after playing it for the last few months in Boot Camp, but the big question I have is whether the saved games from the PC version can be transferred to the mac version?
Any help provided would be apprecaited.

You just have to copy over your Dragon Age folder found in Documents/Bioware. I did that and once I logged in I had all of my DLC also. Fire up the OSX version so it can build the folders it needs, quit and then replace the Dragon Age folder with the one from bootcamp. The only thing that didn't transfer was specializations unlocks.
On the other hand I would just keep playing in bootcamp, it really works a lot better.

It should work, Cider is just a wrapper. As long as you have them in the right place.

Of course, any DLC you have will complain ...

DONT DO IT. The mac version of DAO is pure crap. I didn't like it at all. Had to reinstall bootcamp to play it again.

All of the DLC that I had became authorized when I logged in with the account that I already had for the PC version.
